Future Paul will be very grateful if Current Paul would continue to wear his brace and splint another 4 weeks. It's not worth the "convenience". Trust me.
So much this. I understand Paul's aversion to the brace, and it's really hard to make yourself wear it once the arm starts feeling better. But you sure do pay for it later in life when you push things to soon. In high school I broke my pointer and middle fingers playing volleyball, had them in a splint but after like two weeks I started taking it off and wiggling the fingers .. because I could. Well now they are all kinds of painful, didn't realize at that age that a diagonal fracture across the joints meant you could still wiggle, but shouldn't. I'm not even going to go into not wearing my knee brace after having a horse flip on me and pin me, or my ankle brace for torn ligaments. sigh. Young people are stupid. Point is, wear your brace Paul, yes it feels good to not have it on, but I can guarantee you will over do it and either bust the plate in your arm and need another surgery, or just tweak it where you'll have problems later in life.
@AlbertSpeer-jv4xn Yes it can mess up the healing if he over stresses it. I really really recommend he keep it on. I'm facing surgery on my ankle because I didn't wear the boot as long as my doctor recommended. (I'm 50+ and know better). Anyway the ankle is a lifelong issue due to damaging the ligaments / tendons when I was a wee sprout and not taking care of it right.
@@hermione6830 It's not just a late in life problem. One of my parents neighbors lost half a year of being able to do work around the house because as soon as his arm started feeling good he took the brace off/cut the cast off, picked up a hammer, started swinging and rebroke it. Over and over again.

Why you had issues with the reservoir for the power steering is you cut the parts out with the plasma. I dealt with that on a stainless steel fuel tank I built for a custom trike. I could see the little pieces of slag show up in the welds as I was welding and sure enough I had leaks. It's not your welding, it is the plasma cutting parts out and trying to weld them. I guess cut them oversized and grind em down but it is the plasma arc and even getting rid of any slag, not enough. Just my comment. If you ever get to Nebraska holler!!
To those of you upset at shipping costs… 1) The cost of shipping is determined by the carriers. 2) They are a small company, and do not have the ability to negotiate multi-million dollar cheaper rates with the carriers. So, If you have a problem with the shipping costs, complain to UPS, or Fedex, or USPS. Or better yet, complain to the fools in the government who have placed fees and taxes on energy and transportation.
The actual cost of “shipping” doesn’t have much to do with shipping. Just like when you buy a car and get charged a document fee. The cost includes the service it also in the case of shipping includes the box the person to put it in the box profit and overhead. Guessing in this case they split the profits of the Jerry with the provider of the jerky but not the profits on shipping
Well how much is shipping? So Paul, I know you've been busy, broken/mangled arm and all, but what's happened to the Taco? I haven't seen it in a video for a year, it seems. You had plans to LS it at some stage, but I don't think that's happened as yet. Let us know? Is the Willy's a giveaway or just another addition to the "Fleet?" What's with Michele's Jeepster? Haven't seen that rear it's head recently! Glad to see the arm is progressing, though I get the feeling it's going to be a while yet. Regards from Canada's banana belt. 🤞🇨🇦🍌🥋🇺🇦🕊🇺🇲💩🦃🏁👍
You had it setup in the mill and drilled the hole. The spindle is all lined up perfectly so why not tap the hole? Is you are not comfortable power tapping with the mill, at least start the tap. It will be straight & true. Loosen the tap in the chuck and finish by hand. It's better, faster, easier!
It's your way of supporting the channel, you get something for the money ,it's your choice. If you like jerky then give it a go ,that under twenty bucks to donate to the channel and be happy for them please .

So Paul, I know you've been busy, broken/mangled arm and all, but what's happened to the Taco? I haven't seen it in a video for a year, it seems. You had plans to LS it at some stage, but I don't think that's happened as yet. Let us know?
Is the Willy's a giveaway or just another addition to the "Fleet?"
What's with Michele's Jeepster? Haven't seen that rear it's head recently!
Glad to see the arm is progressing, though I get the feeling it's going to be a while yet.
Regards from Canada's banana belt.

Thank you guys! Ive been really excited about trying it! I got both bags!
try Tillamook 0 sugar jerky
Nice job Paul , we could see how smooth it was driving. It's gonna be AWESOME when it's finished. Thanks for the video guy's 👋
He taps with a drill, starting it and all. That's not the issue.
Tremendous progress. That thing looks amazing. Fantastic build Gentlemen.
$17.50 CAD for 112 grams of jerky??? Insanity… then shipping on top of that.
It's your way of supporting the channel, you get something for the money ,it's your choice.
Everything is expensive, here in NZ , just about everything on the supermarket shelf is $5 or more and goes up every week , just saying.
A ice cream in a cone ,$8 bucks !
If you like jerky then give it a go ,that under twenty bucks to donate to the channel and be happy for them please .
No its not... for little companies it is expensive AF to be able to supply internationally and with little batches too. ANYTHING thats small scale is expensive
Priceless Paul quot. "I don't know what that was but we might need it" when is was pulling in to the fuel pump at the station.
Wow, your problems are just like mine, ..... everything breaks just when you think your done.
What a sweet ride, Paul! It sounds, looks and rides well. That is definitely a good day, in spite of the setbacks due to parts the last few days. Well done!
Positive Paul vs Pensive Paul
I think that spray foam really made a huge difference to keep it quiet enough to talk in there with the door open.
Any plans to make jerky available in Canada?
Like anything else most likely just order, but with the delivery companies' prices these days best make it a bulk order, and put me in on it, 8 bags and a black hat if you do, that'd be Mint 👌😅 thanks
send one of your American friends the packages and have them send it to you?
Look at the pricing for the amount… lol
@@Woahitsjurb yeah dude I'll be getting mine from Costco still. Sorry Paul
I love the fact that you're making Jerky now, however id like to make a request. Could you include beef Jerry in a future release! I'm one of the weird ones who can't eat pork
I thought you would call your new jerky Utah roadkill. Haha
@@JW-cn6op or called it rat jerky lol
Jerky is a great product I'm sure it will be successful. I love jerky and have made my own for years from beef, deer and turkey.
I don't know why but when I first started watching you you were talking about church and you were talking about the blessings of the Lord has given you and now you talk about luck there is no such thing as luck you need to remember how you got everything you have and who gave it to you
Your opinion. You are not the only person who watches. A quiet spiritual life is more impactful than constant preaching
