The way your share, your genuine enthusiasm, humor, and your "You can do it" attitude, and fun with your mom (who is a riot), is all very entertaining. Yes, we'd love to see more each week after vlogmas, but don't want you to burn out or feel like you have to do it. Just want to say I think you and Romeo have made the perfect choice by going the bus tour route. My graduation present was a 15 day bus tour through Europe with my parents (back in 1984) and it was fantastic. The things we got to see and hotels we stayed in were amazing, although I do have to say it filled my lifetime quota for continental breakfasts! People role their eyes when you say "bus tour", but considering all the things that are taken care of for you, I say "heck ya, I'm taking a bus tour!" From hotels to some meals to currency exchange to excursions, it is just such a seamless way to go, especially if you have never been to any of the countries before. One of my favorite memories is of a dinner in Italy. Our tour was booked into one half of a very large patio space, with a wedding dinner taking place in the other half. By the end of the evening the Canadians and Americans from the our tour were teaching the Italians the bird dance! So much fun and laughter. I hope you guys have a wonderful time and come back with lots of stories to share with us.

Really hope your EU trip will go on! I'm from the Netherlands and we went into a full lockdown yesterday, Everything is closed except essential stores (and I mean everything, from restaurants to regular shops to hairdressers to museums etc). The 'deadline' for this lockdown is halfway januari but last time it got renewed and lasted a couple of months more. Others countries also aren't doing so well because of the new variant. My birthday is tomorrow and the only thing I can so is invite a maximum of 4 people at home and go for a walk in the forest (with no more than 2 people).
Not to be gloomy about it but please book things that have a really good cancellation policy, just to be sure. Our government likes to promise things they can't uphold so it's hard to look ahead.
On a brighter note, if you have questions about The Netherlands & Amsterdam (and even tips for London or Paris) you could always ask me!

We're going through a small renovation in our home around our kids over the next year, and it's been nice to see how things look for you each day compared to what you can get done in a week's time. Your home looks wonderful, and I'm excited to see your vision come to life. It's helped me feel like if I keep going, I'll see results in our home, too.

Did you take before pics of the cottage? It would be so cool if you had before & after pictures and put them in a scrapbook. Even cooler if you do that with the guest cottages from start to finish and the guests that stay there could look through photo albums to see all of the stages of them being built!

thanks for keeping it real about the relationship stuff! i think a lot of people (like myself) who struggle to keep up with their mental health hear people say they just wake up happy every day and assume that those people must have no difficulties in their lives. you just proved to us that that isn't the case -- it of course takes work to keep life chugging along in a positive way, even for people with admirably positive outlooks. i love that you're able to do it with a smile on your face :) this is my first vlogmas comment, but i've enjoyed all the days so far. hope you get a well deserved break afterwards :) thanks!

My friend has a tortilla blanket, and she loves it (it's very soft and warm). But, her dog loves it even more. So, now, she has a little spot for him underneath her desk where he can sleep on the tortilla blanket while she does work on her computer. 😅

My mom passed away back in August 2018 and we used to have the exact same relationship; tons of laughters and shopping for home decor together. It gives me much joy just by your videos.
