Another alternative to wrapping paper: buy a roll of packing paper from hardware store, use twine to tie and make a bow and place some greenery in the bow. Lovely and simple and economical.
I save the paper they send with my Amazon packages and do this! It’s great!

Kellogs was on strike until yesterday that's why no rice krispies. I always recommend getting Christmas paper right when they set it out in November at TJ Maxx. Never fails me!
I get my Christmas paper in the sales after Christmas and save it for the next year. That makes me sound really organised, but actually I’m just really cheap!

My hubby really likes Rice Krispie cereal to just eat, & it has been sold out around us for weeks, we actually googled it to see if they stopped selling it
I always use old newspapers to wrap presents. Pre pandemic I gathered all the ones left behind on the train on my daily commute. I have enough to last me for YEARS now! It's not quite the cute Macenna vibe you're after, but totally works for a rustic and eco friendly look.
I use my GROVE Kraft paper they ship with. I rolled it up and used stamps I have. My granddaughter loved stamping for me.
My family used to use the Sunday funnies to wrap gifts! Thank you bringing back that memory

I ran to Dollar General for Tylenol and they have almost nothing Christmas but an entire aisle full of Valentines Day!!! Yuk!!!!
swiss miss made hot cocoa ornaments & i went to get one, the walmart app said it was in a specific aisle so i went to that aisle and it was heart shaped boxes and valentines!!!! so bummed :/

Rice Crispy is made by Kelloggs which has been on strike up until a few days ago. So that may be why the supply is limited. I could do without Kelloggs this year.
I'm with him about Valentines stuff.... I was also really disturbed when Target had Halloween and Christmas things on the same aisle. This is only ok while watching Nightmare Before Christmas 🤣
That's retail baby. It sucks. Especially here in the north when it's January and they're putting out bathing suits and shorts and there's more than a foot of snow on the ground and it's -15°F!

You can put your chocolate in a zip lock bag and set it in a bowl then poor boiling kettle water over the bag to melt chocolate then snip off the corner and use as a piping bag. If you dont use it all pipe it into a fresh zip lock and store in the fridge.
Repeat when needed. Alot less messy then spooning it into the bag

Put the Nespresso ontop of wood cutting board and pull it out to put capsule in then slide back.
I like to save my brown paper carriers. The ones with the handles and use fancy rubber stamps and ink to decorate and personalise them for Christmas, birthdays and special occasions. If they’ve got an unattractive logo on them, I just cover with a strip do fancy paper and add a bow shape. Yay recycling!!
And if you don’t have stamps, make one from a potato!

Just like summer clothes and bikinis long before summer, with winter jackets still on the racks. They're always one season/holiday ahead.
I have issues. Watching you shop for holiday gifts stresses me out. I NEVER know what to get people for Xmas. It makes me feel like Scrooge, but only because I want so much to find the perfect gift but have no clue what it might be, that being faced with my own shopping inadequacies makes me feel resentful.

I feel the same way. I never really liked shopping for others family because I over think it.
I keep notes in my phone of the things people mention they want or need throughout the year so I have ideas- things they need to wear, something for a trip they want to take, a book they liked so I can get another one by the same author ...
I always do white or brown paper with pretty ribbon now. It cuts down on the storage of wrapping items I need to keep on hand. If you really want to jazz it up add bells, ornaments or floral picks.

Cherish what you have💚I lost my childhood sweetheart, we met in school at 15, grew up in the same town in Massachusetts and in 2014 he died..I am now 71 and not a day goes by that I don’t miss him.. I did get my Otis in 2017 he is a Cairn Terrier think Wizard of Oz but Wheaton.. he looks a little like Kingsley, more black around the muzzle .. I can’t believe he will be five in January. He is in my thumbnail. I never really comment, but I felt the need too tonight and I really don’t expect an answer back. Have a blessed Christmas. Yeah there are shortages on everything. Ships are backed up 100 miles in Long Beach harbor. They are forced to be 100 miles off the coast so they cant be seen

I know a designer that uses old architectural plans as wrapping paper for the holidays and I love it 😌
Hot tip, I've found that if you use a quart bag for piping it works better. The sandwich size are too thin and the hole grows the more you pipe! Quart bags are a little thicker.
I enjoyed seeing more of Romeo on this video! I also get very offended when the stores put out the next holiday stuff before the current season isn’t even over. It’s pretty rediculous! Like whose actually going to buy that stuff NOW anyway?
For future reference a toothpick works really good ☺️when you want to do small details with melted chocolate.

Tip!! Put your plastic baggie in a cup and pull the edges over. So much easier to get frosting/chocolate into! Much cleaner 🥰 you guys are so great!!

When I was a teen I made xmas gift wrap using a potato print style on craft paper. Actually it was an apple cut in half. It looked amazing.

You should definitely invest in some Christmas fabric for wrapping as it can be reused for either Christmas or into crafts and you can get some lovely fabric or maybe brown paper and nice Xmas ribbon x

Today I accidentally bought cello Christmas wrap instead of paper. When I got back to the car I realized what I did, so at the next dollar store I bought tissue paper to put underneath so you couldn't see through. ... I'm with Romeo on the Valentine's merchandise in the stores. They do the same thing here in Ontario Canada - crazy! 🎄🇨🇦⛄💖🎆😀 Merry Christmas!

The Christmas stuff was out BEFORE Halloween this year & Now as you guys are finding out ( im in NY & it's the same) everything Christmas is Sold Out!!! & has been! I hope we get to see more thrifting with your mom and Romeo in your channels. I always love seeing the scanning of items at the booth and then seeing what catches yours and your mom's eye and the purchases after. That right there is my favorite thing to watch and then the house remodel. We have a flea market here but it is nothing like yours there in Texas, I call it the junk and I mean junk market, most times I leave with produce from my favorite vendor, the rest is a joke. We need a true Flea Market where I live, we are close to Georgia and Alabama and between Panama City and Jacksonville.
Oh Romeo always butter your hands before touching the hot mixture!! Also i buy my wrapping paper at Sams club its 10.00 a roll but it last for ever theres so much on there! And there ribbon is only 7.00 a huge roll also!

When I was little, we made crispy treats with cornflakes. We added green food coloring to the marshmallows and shaped them into wreaths and added candy red hots and shoestring licorice for the bow. Probably a little more time consuming but very cute and festive.
