Thank you for respecting my country and its history. The King has impressed with the dignity he has displayed throughout. Camilla has also been there for him. The respect paid by the congregation as he walked past them also hit me. As for William and Kate - what a credit they are to this country. But the one thing that really hits home is the Queen’s ability to unite even in death.

You fail to respect your country, its history and even why it exists, to express such a phrase.
There's not a lot I currently respect about the US, but it did the right thing and threw off the shackles of the monarchy. And became a great republic, where all men and women are in principle, at least, born equals. That was almost unique at the time. Fortunately, it's now the norm in much of the world. And hopefully one day the same will be said in Britain.

Even though I'm not a fan of the monarchy nor the United Kingdom, I cannot deny that this was an impressive moment.
I am sure that hearing the national anthem hit King Charles emotionally knowing that it is now "God Save the King" rather than "God Save the Queen" as it had been all of his life. The anthem is amazing. As an American, this brought me to tears. So beautiful. the pageantry of the coronation is a sight to behold. God Save King, Long Live the King!

Something just hit me...his Majesty knew he was walking past harry and it broke his heart...
I thought it had to be such a bittersweet moment for King Charles when Prince William pledged his loyalty and lovingly kissed his father. His heart must have hurt knowing his other son was too cruel and bitter to do the same. That’s what made me cry.
He failed to protect his son. He should be ashamed at throwing him to the wolves to get better coverage for himself, his wife and his heir.
It was great too see that Louie, 5, and Charlotte, 9, singing God Save the King.
I was touched deeply when I saw Harry bow when his father passed by. I hope that sometime soon, Harry will apologize and reconcile with his father at the very least.

The only thing that is funny with the wilhelmus , it hounors the spanish king in the text 🤴 then I did a little research, The Netherlands (together with other parts of the Low Countries, including modern day Belgium, Luxembourg, along with some parts of Northern France and Western Germany) were under Spanish rule from 1581 to 1714.
William of Orange of William the silent , fought the Spanish and gave the Netherlands their independence, he is known as the father of the nation .
