He's wearing his crown; 2) The image of the "grim reaper," is so bad; even Stevie Wonder could see it's a fake; 3) The Queen's funeral was held on 9/19/22, which is actually 7 months, 2 weeks, and 3 days before the coronation. Honestly, how gullible do you actually think people are?

The supposed deathmonger appearance was in fact a verger. While not an official part of the ceremony, a verger is charged with attending to the church. Acting as a caretaker, they assist with church services and sometimes carry a rod before a bishop or dean as a symbol of status.

William was on time, Charles was six minutes early. That was the situation.
You´d think they would coordinate - but apparently not.
Despite the midnight rehearsals. On top of that the horses pulled up too far forward and had to back up. They obviously needed the Olympian’s sure hand to control the horses (she was otherwise engaged 😅).
Charles’ carriage was going at quite a speed there. I noticed that the men walking almost fell into a run at times to keep up.

The stone you refer to is the Stone of Destiny on which Scotland’s Kings and Queens were crowned over hundreds of years. The stone was returned to Scotland after being taken by an English King many years ago. It now only leaves Scotland to be put under the throne for the coronation and then returned to us.

King Charles coach arrived 6 minutes early, so Prince William and Princess Catherine were NOT late! They were right behind him and Queen Camilla. I have no doubt that King Charles was never more proud of William than he has ever been and vice versa.
He should be proud of his son. Nevertheless he often displays spoiled and infantile conduct when events don't go entirely his way, fulfilling his own petulant desires. Hence his behaviour in the carriage.

KCIII wasn’t annoyed with Prince William, he was annoyed about his carriage arriving five minutes early, before the Waleses. KC was seen dressing down a member of staff when they pulled up to the cathedral. As for Louis, he is FIVE! Rest and potty breaks need to be included in the planning.

Good grief people; no grim reaper skulked past. It was a verger, a member of the abbey who helps the clergy set up for this event. He was carrying a staff, not a blade, and he likely was wearing a long rain poncho because if no one noticed, it was raining a monsoon for the coronation.🤦♀️

The Stone of Scone was removed from Scotland by King Edward 1 as part of the spoils of war. I think in about 1295 ,I believe it lived in Westminster Abbey for about the next 700 years…and was returned to Scotland in 1995 (ish)

There was a major significance to the date chosen by HM King Charles III. It was the same date other than the year of course of the Coronation of the Late Majesty King George VI, his much beloved Grandfather.

Actually, George VI was coronated on May 12, 1937, not May 6. However, Edward VII died on May 6, 1910. Perhaps the Edward/Alice Keppal connection was just too much for the new King and Queen to resist.

I did enjoy watching the Coronation, noticing how nervous HM looked. He had more aplomb when his mom created him Prince of Wales. But, no matter what, a mantra kept running through my mind:"The wrong woman is being crowned". And started crying. I don't live in la-la-land. But I did, all those years ago, expect it to be Diana.
You really need to get over it. It was not meant to be. She was happy with the King & Camilla's affair after her divorce. She, graciously said that they should have married. I lived Diana too & believe it or not, so did Charles. Some things in life jyst don't work out. She was much too young & should have waited a few years before they married. Her fairy tale was just that - a story in her young mind. She did many great things before she passed away.

Who on earth posted this ridiculous video. Those 2 women represented the Queen’s Ladies in Waiting. Queen Camilla does not have Ladies in waiting so these 2 ladies played that role for the coronation. AND, ALL THE WOMEN wore white who were involved in the ceremony, that was the dress code. There was nothing negative about the coronation.

I thought as Charles lll was being crowned King not just of Britain but fourteen countries some greater reference to the realms would have been appropriate. Canada,New Zealand, Belize, Jamaica, Australia, Papua New Guinea, The Bahamas, Grenada etc all have him as their King and that is a separate role to Head of the Commonwealth. Elizabeth ll was specifically crowned Queen of Canada, New Zealand, Australia, South Africa, Pakistan and Ceylon (Sri Lanka) in 1953.
