Hi Marco, I got my first Core PRS one week ago. It is the DGT with a gorgeous 10 top. I got a tremendous deal from the dealer. I tried the McCarty 594 Semi. It sounded wonderful but I wasn't really comfortable with the thickness of the neck. Also tried the Custom 24 and really liked it. However, I have the CE24 Semi with the same pickups as the Custom 24 and was ideally looking for a different pickup configuration. My "Miss Right" was the DGT. Great neck, great sounding and gorgeous. It was awesome to find a dealer near my home where I could try the different models out and find the perfect PRS for me. I have a very strong idea about how you are feeling. Congrats my friend. So glad you found your new, beautiful baby.

I got three last month! All PRS (35th year SE 24 black gold burst, SE custom 7 strings and a 245 gold top!). Played them and felt so amazing. It took me probably less than 10/15 mins to decide to go for all three!

What's the difference between a 22 and a 24 fret guitar....? Only 2 extra notes and a potentially less warm tone from the neck pickup due to a possible repositioning of the pickup closer to the bridge to accommodate the 2 extra frets.
You have good taste... I have same guitar same color lol! It's amazing. I have a ce 24 too... Which is brighter sounding and punchier. I had a 245 also... which I sold... but was great sounding... maybe just too bassy for my amp... and the intonation and tuning stability on both of my 24's is better. But adding locking tuners to my 245 would have probably solved that... just too much of similar sounding guitars so kept my favorites. Your playing and review was nice... maybe play more clean would help. Thanks Oh mine is actually leprechaun tooth green... which yours actually looks like. Mine has 59/09 pickups... though I had another core 24 with 85/15s... and my ce has 85/15s...both great pickups. I think I like the 59/09s on my core and the 85/15 on the ce... but both great... not much difference really...
