    Hey Marco,
    I just love this progression. So beautifull !!! When you play, blues / neo-soul / classical whatever you play there is always emotions. Each style of music you play it's emotional and it's your singularity i think and i.we love that !!! So thanks for all of that and thanks to be here because you has really changed my guitare play and my vision of it. Thanks !!!

    Marco, really good lesson. Learning drop 2s and 3s and shell voicings and this is helping me really see how these chords work diatonically and some good idea about how chromatics work. Chromatics are the thing I have trouble with most.

    Maestro Marco. I have a question. I am a self taught player. Sometimes I got stuck when playing with other instrumentists. Do you think I need To take professionnal lesson?

  • @dallashancock7391
    @dallashancock7391 3 года назад

    I love the lesson I have a question tho, at 12 minutes you explain how to play the diminished chord on 8,9,8,9 from D to high E you said the note on D string at 8th fret was a G# when it was actually A# which makes the chord not a dim chord I think, and you said it moved up 3 frets to 11th and 12th frets to play same shape, did you mean for those frets you played and said it wrong on accident or was it suppose to be played in the other position? I’m learning and was curious, thank you

    Seriously, these elitist types of comments on jazz have to stop.
    Question. Blues is not a language?
    Progressive metal is not a lifestyle? I want to see a jazz player play dream theater.
    As many chords as they know, they will definitely not be capable to even coming close not playing but even understanding what is going on in such compositions.
    All music is a language. Not jazz. All music.
    Either that be jazz, metal, blues latin and so on.
    So seriously, youtubers need to stop labeling jazz as the highest form of music, because its not.
    Music is probably the highest form of art.
    And that there is the truth.
    PS : I absolutely love jazz and recommend anyone who hasnt listened to the latest Redman-Mehldau-McBride-Blade album Roundagain, you must definitely check it out.
