I’m the same. I’m an atheist but I love this guy’s work. I love horror movies and fiction, especially psychological horror and weird literature like Lovecraft and Poe. I read a book on angels that took sources from the medieval ages on how some angels look and it was the craziest thing. Death supposedly had as many eyes and tongues as there were people living on the planet (could you imagine having EIGHT BILLION eyes and tongues?!?) and angel (IIRC this was Metatron) was said to be so tall it would take a man 2000 years to walk from its sandals to its head. Then there was another angel whose eyes were flames, had as many arms and legs as there were people in Judea, and had flaming swords that shone as bright as the sun and were big as Mount Sinai or some other mountain. All three of those sound like pure nightmare fuel to me.

My and my GF saw this crazy thing flying in the sky that was real similar (unexplainable) looking like this. My only thought at the time was it could be a higher dimensional type of thing. How our brain processes at the lower dimension and interprets how it looks differently, then how it would appear to look in the higher realm/it's true form.

Because in the Bible the angels that actually appear to men (the ones that actually say "Be not afraid") are always depicted as almost identical to men, with some men not even realizing they're angels until the angel does something supernatural. The Seraphim (only mentioned as surrounding the throne of God, not appearing to men) has 6 wings, so maybe we just got the two confused at one point - or maybe wings were just added to distinguish angels from regular humans in art.

If you think about them from a fractal or multi dimensional standpoint, the strange oscillations and patterns make sense. They're higher dimensional beings appearing in a 4D world, geometrically. They're probably not oscillating at all in their highest dimension, it just appears that way to us as their 5th dimension has 1 vertex with our 4D world. Almost like light in a prism, their 5th dimension scatters in our 3D world, across time as the 4th dimension. The animation is just incredible, remarkably beautiful. I like how the Ophanim's presence just distorts spacetime around it and bends reality in its vicinity. Would have been better if the sound they produced sounded more ominous and dreadful. These biblical accurate angels oddly reminds me of the angels from neon genesis evangelion and the Pokémon called Unown.

I was a bit scared a year ago.
I like to imagine when the ophanim moves towards you it’s actually “spiriting you away” for you to have a vision or something.
Way more interesting and cool looking than just people with wings.

I read a book on angels that took sources from the medieval ages on how some angels look and it was the craziest thing. Death supposedly had as many eyes and tongues as there were people living on the planet (could you imagine having EIGHT BILLION eyes and tongues?!?) and angel (IIRC this was Metatron) was said to be so tall it would take a man 2000 years to walk from its sandals to its head. Then there was another angel whose eyes were flames, had as many arms and legs as there were people in Judea, and had flaming swords that shone as bright as the sun and were big as Mount Sinai or some other mountain. All three of those sound like pure nightmare fuel to me.

My and my GF saw this crazy thing flying in the sky that was real similar (unexplainable) looking like this. My only thought at the time was it could be a higher dimensional type of thing. How our brain processes at the lower dimension and interprets how it looks differently, then how it would appear to look in the higher realm/it's true form.

Ophanim is my favorite angel, I used to draw that when I was a kid, but I didn't know that it's one of the biblical angels.
I’m sorry, that first ophanim cracked me up, lmfao. Blud really said be not afraid, teleports like a few feet closer, and then just charges towards the human they’re talking to as if they wouldn’t shit their pants. I’d like to think that in the next few clips, one of the ophanims was the very same one in the first clip but, learned how to approach humans better.
I didn’t expect the seraphim flying down to look more terrifying than the ophanims just floating around. Beautiful though.
Also, about that last one where the ophanim’s spotted in the sky from above during a plane ride, I wanna think that at least a few people on that plane and not just one would’ve witnessed that Angel from above.
I’m guessing that this is why angels are often depicted as taking human form.
The sounds the angel makes are too visceral for an angel.

Really makes you wonder how we ever got from this to the usual depiction of angels.
Because in the Bible the angels that actually appear to men (the ones that actually say "Be not afraid") are always depicted as almost identical to men, with some men not even realizing they're angels until the angel does something supernatural. The Seraphim (only mentioned as surrounding the throne of God, not appearing to men) has 6 wings, so maybe we just got the two confused at one point - or maybe wings were just added to distinguish angels from regular humans in art.
Some angels do look like men.
@@drawingdragon The old drawings of angels we're used to added wings simply so they'd look "otherworldly." But I like these way more than the effeminate men with wings wearing togas.
The humanoid depictions of angels most are based on Third Sphere angels, the one closest to humans, while Ophanim ie The Flaming Wheels of God's chariot is part of The First Sphere that tends to God, their form is downright Eldritch. Ophanims are the wheels like in the video, Cherubims are angels that carries God, and Seraphims are angels with 8 flaming wings that sung hymns to glorify God's name

If you think about them from a fractal or multi dimensional standpoint, the strange oscillations and patterns make sense. They're higher dimensional beings appearing in a 4D world, geometrically. They're probably not oscillating at all in their highest dimension, it just appears that way to us as their 5th dimension has 1 vertex with our 4D world. Almost like light in a prism, their 5th dimension scatters in our 3D world, across time as the 4th dimension. So just to reveal higher dimensions in 4D while standing still, they would have to appear to constantly rotate on a 3D axis through many complex layers of fractal patterns of increasing complexity. Once they reflected their entire 5th or 6th dimension, they may even begin to become invisible again because there are more vertices and complex structure that we lack the bandwidth to percieve. Then as they begin showing their 5th dimension along our time axis again, they reappear as they first appeared to us. But maybe this could take such a long time in our 4D world that they only appear every [very long period of time]
I like how serene the angels are in a natural environment whereas the urban areas get slowly wrecked.
