Read somewhere on the internet something to do with the good Friday agreement they were withdrawn or majority were
They sure look the business coming down that hill they get shot at petrol bombed on a regular basis and take alot of shit it's because they are basic nut and bolt built you can strip them down and rebuild the whole thing in a day makes them the easy to use vehicle yes they do go wrong but anyone can fix them
cool! i really love those "beasts" for a vehicle a lot..............sorry, i was not up to task last night! ended up falling sick for some odd reason......but i was up till 1.30 am (Indian Standard Time) when i saw the video prior to this one..... i actually didn't know there would be another one though, or i would have watched this one as well! ......and i guess that that's why you three were out filming.... 🙂....... can't wait to see what your surprise visit to Dublin was..... 😊 ......but awesome job you three.......i hope that you three have an amazing day today and everyday..... stay safe, protected and blessed always guys....... 🙂
The title lied.
i like how they look like a racing vehicle sort of lol
Do any mainland UK police forces have anything like these armoured Land Rovers?
Yes
Police in London have a couple of armoured Ford trucks but I don't know about other parts of the country. You'd expect a large city like Manchester to have maybe one but I don't think they do because there isn't really the need.
@@GeorgeThoughts aye I know that Merseyside police have 1 or 2 of the older versions. Also the psni sent over the smaller versions of there patrol vehicles when they were on the hunt for Roul mout
I remember the Met have armoured Ford pickup trucks
Yes armed police
I understand it would require a considerable amount of time and money to convert these to right hand drive in order to export to countries like the US, but I want one of these heavily armored beasts to use as a kinda small and cramped but mobile bunker on wheels in case the apocalypse happens!
check out Terradyne armoured vehicles inc already right hand drive.
@@C.CUMM1NGS that's so COOL
@@ChrisChris-ik3tw Sure, if exposed for a long enough time, but I’m pretty sure a single petrol bomb (gasoline bomb in the US because of different terminology) will just scorch the paintwork
Soaking it in burning jet fuel though might be a different story though
@@noahater5785 the have build in fire extinguishers on the front windscreen
