Let's face it, grumpy and unpleasant people are in every country, but I'm glad that most of your trip was entirely positive. One thing bothers me though and it is that majority of comments here only focus on the negative small part, instead of seeing the big picture of your experience...
my mom is czech and we go there to visit her family every few years. I was talking to her about this and yeah this is definitely weird. it doesn't matter if it's open seating if you buy a ticket reserving a specific seat so that woman was bugging. maybe because she didn't understand english that well but the man is more to blame because he clearly did and he still argued and was trying to gaslight you and being aggressive. my theory is because that woman is czech like him and you're foreign and a black woman at that smh 🙄
@beyskeypurr4992 I think it's one of the train staff talking to the rude guy and he was explaining to him that she had a ticket for the seat her bag is in. místenka/místenku basically means seat reservation
I grew up in Italy and for some trains (not all) it works like that, you have the choice to reserve your sit, which is a little more expensive, and you usually do that when you expect the train to be full or close to full. If you don't reserve anything you can sit wherever, but there is always the chance that you have to give up the sit to someone who has reserved that particular sit, and if the train is full, you might have to stand up entirely until one gets free. In your case, the lady had no rights to your reserved sit for sure, but she also had no rights to the sit you were occupying because up to that point it was still a free sit, which means whoever gets there first sits there. She was full of 💩, and so was he. You did the right thing. Had it been the only free sit left it would have been a different story, in that scenario common sense comes into play, but it wasn't the case, so.
Right?! My European patrons already explained to me that it is sometimes open seating but not for seats that were already reserved. So she was quite literally trying to bully me out of my reserved seat and claiming she could because it was “open” smh
@@DeeShanellTV In Northern/Western Europe you can sometimes book a seat but people might sit wherever anyway if there's a lot of room. I've seen people get on who didn't book and sat next to friends who did do so. But when the train starts getting packed people might ask to get their reserved place. Sometimes people had my seat so I had to ask to leave. As for this woman. Maybe she got confused since you were sitting across and didn't get what was reserved or not?

For instance, I'm from Montenegro and it is open seating even tho there are numbers on the tickets. However, it is extremely weird that she wanted to sit where your bag was (your reserved seat) when everything else was empty. Maybe she was used to that particular seat or is troubled in some kind of way, idk. Plus if you can apparently sit wherever you want, you sat where you wanted. She can't take it from you LOL. Hi Dee you should definitely visit the Northern Europe. Is so more civilised up there and the definition of personal space is invented there specifically Sweden. True. But sometimes things happen of course. I once got involved in a big fight with many people on a late night bus. We were all going home after a party, some guys started annoying people, threw stuff, I was one of those who didn't back down and an action movie started 😅

Dee, why you getting me all hyped up like I was on the train too 😂 Yeah, you’re gonna have to get somebody with train authority to tell me I gotta move my stuff, I’m not TF moving, especially if you’re being nasty.
what I heard in the background. he didn't say anything offensive. He explained that it was a misunderstanding that you had a reservation for the seat where the backpack was
Welcome to Europe, I’m from London. No matter where you go empty train. The usual suspects will come and sit right next to you. It’s like they need human contact. If you say something or move, they act shocked. It’s called entitlement, I just wish people would understand entitlement and racism is worldwide, Europe is home of the founding racists. Love your channel, sending you more blessings for 2025 ❤
Personal space in Asian countries is closer than in the States. In European countries it's a bit wider unless things recently changed, Because you purchased a ticket for that space, then that is yours. The other woman's attempt to take your seat and remove your bags screams of entitlement and privilege. She didin't tell you her seat number. Maybe that train's policy is lax to allow "open" seating when the train is not at full capacity.
Your a beautiful lady travelling alone, people will try and trigger you the best way they can. Sometimes they cannot handle the fact you are in the same spaces as them. Remember your suppose to be serving them not freely travelling like them.
Even if it's open seating; you dont sit next to or in front of another pax when there is plenty of room. Im probably the third person from the Netherlands to tell you this but overhere; we prefer to keep as much distance from eachother as possible. You dont just sit next to someone when there is room. It hardly happens but sometimes you might get an older person asking if they can sit with you, i.e: have a little chat and you.politeky accept or decline. This lady was out to make you feel uncomfortable and get you to move. As for the guys....typical. a woman travelling alone will always catch some attitude from men. For no reason.
Also- I went on the same exact train when I was over there and there is NO open seating. Your ticket references which seat you have and it is reserved for you.

One day, When I was in Germany I turned the corner and this weird man just froze as if he expected me to give way to him.. or was disgusted with my presence so I quickly moved past him and this fool had the nerve to try to trip me with his foot. So I kicked his foot out the way with my own. And kept it moving. I was ready to defend myself if he was feeling some type of way. Because I don’t care what country it is, I will gladly be deported and banned from a country at the expense of defending myself from deranged weirdos. You will not bully be, you will not strong arm me and you will not disrespect me. Because I will return that energy!
Thanks as always for the content Dee.
YESSSSSSS WAS WAITING FOR THIS ONE FOR THE 4K! 😍
Absolutely loved how you moved on with your trip and didn't let it get to you! i definitely need to work on that 'cause it's not easy what's so ever to incorporate that mindset and not
let it effect the rest of your day/trip etc. Much love 🥰
Thank you! I definitely went on to have an amazing trip so I’m glad I didn’t let it ruin my experience also 😊
Dee show his face. He should be ashamed why is he coming at you like that wtf. He needs to be detained the weirdo. Stay safe
I should’ve lol
@@DeeShanellTVit’s never too late to change the thumbnail and show that prick
I didn’t get him on camera
@@DeeShanellTV You did so well keeping composed, he was so annoying.
Wow it’s really gorgeous over there. That intro was wild though 😭
Very gorgeous place! It made up for how ridiculous that guy was haha
Dee you really do inspire me to have more self-control, I was already heated and planning my attack if I was in that situation 😂😂😂
Yeahh not having self control has landed me in jail in the past babes lmao not going back down that road, they’re not worth it
@@DeeShanellTV Right some people just want to push their misery on others
“ i just like pissing you off” btch u don’t even know me???

Not everyone loves us Americans I’m glad you stood up for yourself and proud of you for making the best out of a bad situation
This is not about Americans, a lot of European countries are starting to be anti-inmigrants and anti-tourists due to increases in crime rate... And that is reflecting it in these people, being racist towards anything that don't look like them
He was saying: "She had reserved seat, its the seat she has her backpack."
But dont be triggered by that. He was an idiot. Im Czech republic it is exactly how you said with the public transport. If it is empty, you sit alone. He was just going after you.
Glad you liked it here.
Btw. I dont zhink he was racist. He was just on you, because you are American 😂
Dee, your vlogs have become a great way for me to relax after a busy day. Seing all these beautiful countries definitely helps me mentally. So thank you so much for sharing them with us❤
Girl when I say I moved like sonic when I saw the thumbnail 😭😭
That’s why I try to avoid using public transportation, even though I live in Munich.
Usually I like public transportation in other countries but this experience was ghettoooo lol
I'm glad dee be having fun and travels while she can
This video was such a peaceful vibe.
Thank you 😊
Not the fighting 😭. Girl I am crying
What a *beautiful* trip you had. Wow, thank you for sharing with us Dee. ✨🙏🏾
Yes it was very lovely, thanks so much for watching 🤗
I love how Dee is always giving us Qualityyy
Well dang!
If she can sit anywhere, then she can go sit anywhere else too right?
Why'd she have to be right across from you?
Exactly! She was a weirdo
Dee I love you honestly you had me cracking up 😂 (THE GHETTTO )
Yt people never cease to amaze me! That cabin was almost empty and she have the audacity to cry as if you harmed her.
What tf does this have to do with white people you weirdo? Imagine if some black person shoots a bunch of people and someone said "Blk people never cease to amaze me!"
I love this video alot Dee ❤
Thankss, glad you enjoyed 🤗
@@DeeShanellTV No problem Queen 😊
I luv when Dee goes off 😂
Girl I would've went full Karen crying to the conductor or whoever worked there saying that the lady was threatening me and trying to steal my items 😂
😂😂😂😂
Great job standin ur ground. I mean u reserve that sit so she cant take it idc if open ur ticket shows it's ur sit. i feel she thought u being a foreigner, she could bully u. U did good, and u were right.
Thank you! ❤️ But yes definitely, I think that's what she thought too
I love your content! ❤️
Nice shots and editing in general. It must be a lot of work! I really liked the mountain area during the hike and how it was filmed. Spectacular view with the bridges etc. I knew about the cities but didn't know this area. The part about learning about people and cultures was also great. I've seen the broadening of your horizons since I started following. Which was eons ago 😆 As for the woman. Imagine if the plot twist was that she actually wanted to talk a bit to a foreigner and practice her English? 😁
Thanks! It definitely takes a lot for me to put these videos together so I'm so happy you enjoy them 🤗
@@DeeShanellTVI've always liked the travel videos since I saw those from Greece or Thailand years ago. And besides video, working with sound myself I realize that this also takes a lot of work. I sent a little appreciation dm on Instagram recently but wanted to add it here too. And hopefully making these videos gives a sense of accomplishment too.
That man was childish asf🙄, good on you for being mature and shutting him down❤
Prague looks so good! Can’t wait to visit. Show us the food at the restaurants and eateries. Great video.
Dee, the vlog music is TOP TIER! 💃🏽💃🏽Keep em coming sis! ❤
Shoutout to you for not letting them play in your face like that, Dee!!! Because i definitely would've told wooden teeth to stfu and go find a dentist 💀💀
Lmaoo that's what I should've said 😂
Great video, Dee, thank you... Didn't start well, but in the broader scheme of things, it was just a relatively small episode. Let's face it, grumpy and unpleasant people are in every country, but I'm glad that most of your trip was entirely positive. One thing bothers me though and it is that majority of comments here only focus on the negative small part, instead of seeing the big picture of your experience...
Yes definitely, I had a great trip so that’s what matters the most 😊 glad you enjoyed, thanks so much ❤️
The guy exposed what the woman was aiming to do by stating what he wanted to do.
I was waiting for the drama-involving vlog since the trailer dropped and it did not disappoint 😭
Dee ended him with EASE 🤭
Let me keep watching though
my mom is czech and we go there to visit her family every few years.
Ask her to translate what they were saying pls 😭
37:40
@beyskeypurr4992 I think it's one of the train staff talking to the rude guy and he was explaining to him that she had a ticket for the seat her bag is in. místenka/místenku basically means seat reservation
Dee you handled that like a boss
POV : Me about to hop through the phone 📱😮💨 🏃🏽♀️
That was obvious xenophobia.
Definitely!
THIS IS THE ONE I WAS WAITING FOR FROM THE TRAILER 😭💀
uhm no you can’t if they’re reserved seats 😒 GET HER OFF THE TRAIN NOW 💀
HIM TOO!
Honestly, it sounds like she was trying to intimidate you. Especially if there’s other empty sections with the same set up as where you were sitting. People get on my nerves lol. Nonetheless be safe and keep posting these vlogs. I love them!🤍
37:56 The guy said in Czech "I’m a guest and it’s just a misunderstanding" which is bullshit cause he should’ve minded the business that pays him.
Plus that lady had no right to touch your bag and if it was reserved seating she could’ve easily sat somewhere else on that train..it’s not like it was crowded😭
She just wanted to make a scene and antagonize you.. smh
I’m sorry you experienced that Dee but I’m glad you enjoyed your trip.🩷
We love the drama it gives the vlog flavor. Yass dee tell'em 😆
Lowkey lmao I brushed this incident off and it made for good content, so a win is a win 😂
@DeeShanellTV period 😇
I live here in Europe and you were absolutely right and her behavior is absolutely STRANGE!!!!!! YOU PAID for your seat in a reserved area! And there were also sooo many other free seats, normally people avoid sitting with others here as much as they can, she's weird!
Hello !! I’m a new subscriber and I absolutely love your content. My question is do you travel solo whenever you leave the country ? I’m still in the process of watching the rest of your videos. Happy holidays
Hi, welcome! So glad you enjoy 🤗 but no, most of my trips have been with friends and boyfriends. I’ve documented them all on my instagram. I just primarily prefer to vlog when I’m solo :)
i’m glad you broke the stereotype of americans being loud lol, i’m from the uk and normally the americans are so loud without realising and people see it as ignorant. you’re very respectful and calm/collected, happy travelling dee!!
What a sad comment. It was a European that was nasty towards her and you're pointing out ridiculous American stereotypes instead of calling out his disgusting behavior? You lot claim that Americans have no home training but you and this guy are being embarrassing examples of your continent. Do better.
Not with that commentary. You Europe folks stay jealous of Americans.
@@robynrob9471 what is there to be jealous of, we both have similarities lmao. the uk is increasingly becoming overweight
@@ryanmatico2694 lol really? It was shade. Move on
@@jamiemitch2620 jamie lad, it ain’t that serious🤣firstly i commented that before i watched the vid, based on dee’s previous travelling experiences i was pointing out how she is always the best traveller. you’re right obviously he was a disgusting man, and im glad you know that europe is a continent lol
From Europe (NL) and we dont like it when people sit next to us, we will move our bags if someone wants to sit thats no issue but there is NO LOGIC WHATSOEVER that you need to sit next to me when the whole train coupe is empty... You did nothing wrong Dee🤣🤣
He is racist
Dangggg i gotta go back to Prague when it's not winter. it was soooooo cloudy and grey and smoke just everywhere when I went in the winter for a festival
I went to Prague to perform in the Bohemian Musical festival back in 2018. one of the best times of my life cuz music groups from different countires were also performing and we got to see each other's performances, and then have a turnt big party on the last day
For instance, I'm from Montenegro and it is open seating even tho there are numbers on the tickets. The guy is an incel, obviously. But yeah, very strange. You handled it like a boss.
Thanks so much! I learned from my mistakes in the past so I definitely try to control my temper these days
Lemme find out Dee being a YN crashout
Oh baby Dee dont play with no goddamn body 😂
Hi Dee you should definitely visit the Northern Europe. Is so more civilised up there and the definition of personal space is invented there specifically Sweden. People would literally stands up just to not sitt with another person is like a norm. Even if the buss is full they will not sit with you.
True. But sometimes things happen of course. I once got involved in a big fight with many people on a late night bus. We were all going home after a party, some guys started annoying people, threw stuff, I was one of those who didn't back down and an action movie started 😅
I love how you handle that situation like nope i'm not dealing with you right now. Your spot is your spot u pay'd for it she didn't. Greetings from Finland! Hope u visit here sometime ☺
Thank you! I refuse to let individuals ruin my travels lol and I’m actually visiting Finland next year, can’t wait! I’ll definitely vlog it 🤗
@@DeeShanellTV Nice! Hope you enjoy it ☺
The begining had me stressed as fck it felt like watching some man argue with one of my aunts or cousins I wanted to step through the screen and get in between and tell him to shut up 😭 DEE HAD ME WORRIED 😭😭😭
Im a blk lady from France and it seems she just being a Karen actually. If you reserved the seat it’s yours and people usually try to find isolated seats in open seat trains so she was being annoying for no reason along with that guy. Have a good trip though!
1:11 Told his ass you're the one looking stupid Lmaoo 😂
ohhhhhh shiiiii is exactly what i said barely a minute into the vlog
Yes Dee almost turning into Rosa Parks about that seat lol overall I am glad you stood your ground about that situation
Dee, why you getting me all hyped up like I was on the train too 😂 Yeah, you’re gonna have to get somebody with train authority to tell me I gotta move my stuff, I’m not TF moving, especially if you’re being nasty.
BTW Bohemian Switzerland (hiking) is a year after the devastating fire. It was much nicer before.
what I heard in the background. he didn't say anything offensive.
Going on a Europe tour on Tuesday and staying in Prague for Christmas. I'm excited!
Prague is amazing, you'll love it! Happy holidays 🤗
Thank you! @@DeeShanellTV
Foreigner in prague here, seats must be reserved in first class! In the other cars not so much but you are paying extra for first class.
Also- I went on the same exact train when I was over there and there is NO open seating. Your ticket references which seat you have and it is reserved for you.
I really enjoy your vlogs.
We need to see you in Nigeria next 😊. Im sure you'll have a blast
Please be careful in those backward countries and I say backwards as to attitudes
