Steve Schirripa is one of the most down to earth people around and his Bobby character is the heart of The Sopranos and he nailed it perfectly. His arc kinda reminds of Bubbles in The Wire. Love him.
I actually got into the show during the pandemic after I was laid off from USPS. Growing up in Jersey City and Hudson county in general, I didn’t realize how much of the show took place in the places I grew up around which made the show more important to me. Throughout the pandemic, I watched it with my dad and we would point out all the landmarks and references made in the show and it brought us closer together as we bonded over not just how good the show was but how much the show was a time capsule into 90s and early 2000s New Jersey ♥️
Some things are worth waiting for. I did the same thing for Band of Brothers and Breaking Bad. The series ended. I bought them all on DVD, and slowly binged on them, savoring each episode. Peace.

Absolutely. An older Tony narrating or opening and closing the Sopranos prequel would have been beautiful. I'm sure The Mandalorian would have gotten him in with a great role. He would have also been a terrifying Kingpin.
Apparently it was very hard for him to play such a ruthless & violent type. I'd love to see him play a guardian angel, or a nature reserve warden, or a talk-show host. Love & light to him, and thanks & praises. x

I think when you watch the show a few years after the first watch is when you realise much more about the show and what made it so good, I think that’s the real way to know if a tv show is good is when it draws you back in many years later and is still good enough to make you binge watch even though you know the outcome of each episode and series and not feel like someone has spoilt it for you.
When I watched the episode of SOPRANOS when Chris shot the worker in the bakery I immediately thought of SPIDER getting revenge from being shot in GOODFELLAS

Michael Imperioli is such a nice guy. my husband is a huge fan and Michael sent him a happy birthday one year.. I was very impressed and happy with how he treats his fans. OH and my husband is getting a natural Pauly walnuts hairdo with his grey.. I love it 😅
Steve Schirripa is one of the most down to earth people around and his Bobby character is the heart of The Sopranos and he nailed it perfectly.
His arc kinda reminds of Bubbles in The Wire. Love him.
I’ve watched this series four times. I’ll probably start again after New Years. I watch it while I ride my recumbent bike. Never fails to entertain
Legends, Rip to James gandolfini brings tears to my eyes thinking about it , his name will live on for ever ❤️
03:28 I love when Bobby says "Uncle Junior" LOL
Michael is a budhist , meditates , doesn t drink. Guess Christopher really got back on his feet ,i am so glad ! :D
in Micahel's thoughts, he uses a technique of positive visualization.
Weird how everyone who enters the Hollyweird cult is attracted to Eastern Mysticism and occultism, but not the truth and Christianity.
I just did a marathon week of the Sopranos for the first time - Loved it❣️and plan for another run thru when winter sets in.
First season always makes me cringe a little cause it's so different from the rest. That pilot especially, lol. I grew up a block from Centanni's. :P
Some things are worth waiting for. I did the same thing for Band of Brothers and Breaking Bad. The series ended. I bought them all on DVD, and slowly binged on them, savoring each episode.
Peace.
@@MrNb22 really I like the first season for some reason it has nostalgia feel to me and it's more slapstick which I mean if the whole series was like that it would get old but it is good for what it is
Yep I just finished re-watching the entire series for like the 6th time right before the many saints of Newark came out. Which honestly I wish I did it in reverse....
One of the best Tv series EVER, back in 2002 I used to keep looking at my watch so I can finish work and make it home on time on Wednesday nights, the good old days.
watches are like sun dials in 2022
Steve is great, could listen to him for hours.
I used to think the same. Then I listened to him for hours
You can
Talking sopranos podcast my friend 85 episodes so far and some more to come.
Steve is unbearable on the podcast honestly lol.
He gets a lot of hate on the podcast but I enjoy him greatly. He is a real character, either loves people or has an epic beef with them, nothing in the middle. Just have to fast forward when he goes on a long name dropping binge.
Sad Gandolfini left us.
He had a few good more roles to play.
Absolutely. An older Tony narrating or opening and closing the Sopranos prequel would have been beautiful. I'm sure The Mandalorian would have gotten him in with a great role. He would have also been a terrifying Kingpin.
@@nerdmasala I’m so glad I’m not the only one who thinks he would’ve been a perfect king pin
@@nerdmasala he would've been an awesome Penguin too in a very gritty batman film, or voice act him in some animated DC film.
Apparently it was very hard for him to play such a ruthless & violent type. I'd love to see him play a guardian angel, or a nature reserve warden, or a talk-show host. Love & light to him, and thanks & praises. x
I will miss him forever
I love Michael as an actor he is so underrated...He´s role in Basketball Diaries was sublime, and as Christopher in the Sopranos among other great stuff...
Reading this book as we watch this video. My wife got it for my 32nd birthday gift. We finished watching the sopranos series last December and we fell in love with the show. If you haven’t seen it you must watch it!!
These guys did a really good job, they stuck at it, they dug deep, explored all the nooks and crannies of the show, and it's been a pleasure to get to know them both. Well done guys👍🏼
it was so refreshing to hear Michael in Many Saints.....it had that extra feeling of nostalgia
only saving grace for the atrocity of a fillm
@@AlexanderDion i wasn't talking about the movie...but his role
@@AlexanderDion good to know
I must be the only person who liked that
@@JerseyDevilJerseyGirl that is a very real possibility.
ohh dude I love the crazy chaotic energy that these 2 have with each other, they're hilarious and play off of each other well
Oh man, Christopha grew into a real silver fox
A lot of women find him very attractive
That’s not his name :/ give the actual actor some credit
@@nowey2251 Well his name's in the title of the video and it's his most famous role, while this is a random RUclips comment sooooo...
We say “Oh Christopha!” like Adrianna does around my house. Hilarious 😂
At first I was like please learn how to spell, then I was like 🤣🤣🤣
I love this show. Watched it 3 times in my life. Started when I was 16, now I’m 29 and for the first time I’m gonna watch the last two episodes as I have never done it before. Wish me luck
So just when you thought you were out, they drew you back in again?
I think that this is the happiest that I've seen Seth Meyers, in a long time. I was laughing right along with him.
Felt like I was in the room. This is why this show is the best thing on television.
Lmao what SETH'S SHOW????
Lmao HAHAHAHAHAHA
I know everyone remembers him as Christopher and rightly so, but whenever I think of Imperioli, my mind instantly refers to him as Spider
Nice fucking game
He's in The Office too
That's Christopha
Did you see the Sopranos episode in which Christopha shoots the bakery clerk in the foot?
When I watched the episode of SOPRANOS when Chris shot the worker in the bakery I immediately thought of SPIDER getting revenge from being shot in GOODFELLAS
My favorite podcasters from my favorite show on my favorite Late Night show. Win/Win/Win!
Recently started watching Sopranos and as much as i love Chrissie, Michael Imperioli is just so much nicer
Lmao, there's an understatement!
Michael seems like a really good guy. Christopher... did not
Well....he's at least killed way less people (and dogs)....sooooo
I love how michael looks when seth said lorraine was on goofellas lol
Bro he was on goodfellas too
Come on he is on Goodfellas for 1 minute, I don't think he gave any shady look
@@evecathcart He had a small part in Goodfellas, but it was a highly memorable one. Thanks to Joe Pesci.

Ok this interview sort of blew my mind in many ways
I'm getting ready to start over the holidays watching The Sopranos again loved it the first time I'm going to love it even more the second time from episode 1 to the end, God bless James Gandolfini may you rest in peace sir
Love these guys, so interesting! I would’ve loved to hear James Gandolfini tell that story of the phone call he received in Tony Soprano’s voice!
So that's where the whole "A don never wears shorts" thing came from. It actually explains a lot cause in the show it just kinda came out of no where. But this makes total sense.
That’s a common story: like many people I had my friends over my house to watch final episode, and the fade to black , everyone yelling at me “ What did you do “. I have heard same thing From anyone who had friends over their house.
All of us called the cable company cussing cause we thought the cable went out. 🤣
@J R I was fussing at them . 😂😂😂
I saw it on HBO that day, I was like wtf my cable is messed up
It's always fun to hear how we ALL had the exact same reaction... I still remember me, my Mom, and my great-grandparents going, "WTF! What happened to the cable?" and looking at each other 🤣😜😜🤣🤣🤣 (only time I cursed and got away with it with my GGM!🤣
Michael is hella funny. Lit, dry sense of humor 👍🏼
I watched for the first time and finally finished yesterday. Absolutely incredible!
Actually Micheal was Spider in Goodfellas serving drinks
I had never watched the sopranos until last year and boy what a treat was in store for me, I have watched the entire series 2 times now absolute monster of a show and easily up there with breaking bad at the top of the tree.... I was also very sad when I found out after watching the series for the first time that James Gandolfini had sadly passed....RIP great man very very sadly missed
James Gandolfini’s death made the press for like a week, I remember it well.
These guys are gems. Love them!
I wish Steve would let Michael get in a word here and their, I always get the impression that Steve loves the sound of his own voice when watching pervious podcasts, the Sopranos was will be talked about for many years to come, an amazing ground breaking TV show.
For Soprano fans - Talking Sopranos is absolutely brilliant - fascinating to watch and some amazing insights.
One of the old fan here! ❤ Still love the show 20+ years ago. ❤
Imperioli needs more credit
Bobby is like Luka 21st century
I’m still In love with ChristoFA 🥰♥️
Bobby is the only one in the show to actually hit Tony and get away with it. I really felt it when he was shot buying trains.
I just finished watching all the seasons, only time I stopped was to sleep and go to the bathroom, one of the best I've ever watched.
First time watching the series, best show I have watched in forever n I wasn’t even talking yet when it came out
Those guys are great!
*bro these ppl are charismatic af, i fw them, appreciate them, they like me*
Flatbush was the Gambino clan's area...Old man Gambino used to sit out on Ocean Parkway n play chess...everybody knew who was connected...how to get "stuff that fell off a truck"!
Sopranos did a good job bringing that to life n I'm sure wiseguys watched every bit of it! They love the press...
You mean Carlo Gambino ???
'On paypa, we shouldn't even be in da same room tegeddaa'
I love this guy :-)
Shout out to Tony Sirico for representing an institutionalized person so well. Lol I had to pause my while watching and look up if the guy that played Pauli Walnuts did time because he had the nuances so well. Loved to find out he essentially just played himself.
These 2 guys are great... The chemistry between them is BEAUTIFUL.
Such an incredible show the Sopranos was... Everything was perfect. Makes me sad knowing there likely won't ever be anything as good in our life time for a series
@CC derp
I want to watch the Sopranos! Where can I find it?
@@paulafigueroa1573 hbo
@@fran9939 thx Fran
Breaking bad for me is up there alongside sopranos as the two greatest TV shows of all time
I didn't get the ending of Fade to Black at first then later on i found it made perfect sense and was pure genius!!
“A don never wears shorts” ☎️ LMAO
Started watching the sopranos this year. Im 20 and absolutely love it
I heard what a great show Sopranos was as a kid but I could tell I needed to wait until I got older to watch it. So it’s particularly delicious to get new Sopranos related content that made me explore this show after all these years… lit up my dark summer of quarantine.
And now I crave Italian food a lot 😆
Love dees guys! For the record, NEVER saw my father in shorts. So, there it is.
....so I'm assuming you had a few gifts growing up that fell off a truck 😂
That only means your father had style and good taste, not necessarily that he was a high-ranking mobster ;)
@@Albinoman887 ...not so much that...but I do recall in maybe '74 my cousin brought a shotgun and few handguns to my Dad and asked him to "hold on to them" for a while...later he disappeared and the rumor was the witness protection program.
@@coffeepie most of his life he wore the "Uncle Junior" glasses (from the CVS glasses rack) and a polyester blazer...so, style and good taste, maybe not too much. But a fine gentleman... absolutely! And a WWII hero.

Watching those two argue brings me the simple joy of seeing people together laughing and enjoying life and not talking about stolen elections or vaccinations. There is hope.
Or JFK Jr. coming back from the dead 🙄

5:29 reminds me a lot of the scene when Paulie goes into a coffee shop and gets mad about non Italians selling and making money off cappuccinos.
then steals the tumbler out of spite
yes! That was my first thought too. "Coffee regulare"
Christopher was one of my fav. characters
Why bobby come out wearing exactly what I expected him to be wearing 😂
