Tony's parents were abusive and cold but Corrado was a loving uncle. And yet even his loving uncle was a critical presence in his life (especially of his athletic prowess!) and ended up in a mob war with him. What a family. Old age hits people differently, there's no point in making comparisons about other old actors from the show still being relatively healthy and quick witted.

This work of art, The Sopranos, would never be the same without him, the best supporting character in tv series ever, Tony Sirico aka Paulie Walnuts (July 29, 1942 - July 8, 2022). He was a tough guy on TV screens as well as in real life, but he was certainly not an unjust, crooked and evil man in real life, moreover, I see that his colleagues and friends loved and respected him very much. He stole some of the best scenes in The Sopranos. Rest in peace man 😪
Thank you to all the cast, I love you all. Sopranos is the only show I can watch over and over and over and over And over and over and over and over and over.. RIP Jimmy(Tony S) and Tony(Paulie W). Amen. ❤
I just finished watching the series for the very first time, yesterday. I am hugely sad it's over. This is without a doubt the best series I have seen in my 65 years.
Dominic choking up towards the end is a gut-punch. He really loved working with James, and this is a guy whose acted opposite Al Pacino, Lee Strasburg, and John Cazale.
The interviewer done a fantastic job here. He never spoke over the cast like alot do. He asked good questions and allowed great answers. Rip james gandolfini...legend
Just finished watching the series now (Covid-19 quarantine marathon)as well, loved it as much as Breaking Bad, Avatar, and some Anime shows. Gonna miss the show a lot. Planned on watching this since I heard about Gandolfini's passing, but kept delaying it since I was preoccupied with a lot of stuff.
I couldn’t help shedding a tear when Dominic Chianese remembered James. “Don’t you love me?” Hit me like a ton of bricks when I remembered that line. Without The Sopranos there is simply no Breaking Bad. It’s my hope that young millennials get around to watch the show. The greatest Mob Drama of all time. RIP James Gandolfini.
Im a millennial and i binged watched it in October. Really good, still holds up. I forgot how old it was watching it and it’s almost shocking to watch this tbh. I can’t believe how old they’ve all gotten. Def gonna recommend to anyone who likes gangsta movies
Many great moments in that show, but that one might be the most powerful for me. Truly a special moment in tv history. The fact that Dominic recalls that scene as one of the most memorable experiences tells me that scene was the real deal!
Cast of incredible actors with equally capable writers. Watched all 84 episodes in one off season living in Aspen. Beautiful how they all talked about Jimmy❤
That’s fun to do, isn’t it? I watched it when it first aired but I’ve binged watched it an embarrassing amount of times since then. Love it more each time. Then when this came out, UGH, I laughed and cried like I was watching the show again but with a big hole missing. 😢
Yep, forcing poor Artie to open up the restaurant for them... that's what I liked about The Sopranos, everything had a cost to it, even the nicer moments
James Gandolfini is a sad loss still. He had so much more to do. And imagine being Van Zandt, man. Bruce and Gandolfini as friends and peers. And Bracco and Falco have had amazing careers, creating intense and memorable roles. Rarified air they all breathe.
Big fan! I particularly liked Steven Van Zandt's band the Disciples Of Soul. This was right before I became a Springsteen fanatic. As stated, to be an E Street Band member, a radio show host, and star in the Sopranos? That's incredible!
Junior at the end talking on Tony as an actor and crying about the scene he says don't you love me, is amazing. Love and passion these guys have is what makes it great. Love this show so much and everyone on it
I know right? I was doing so good the whole time, but when Dominic started to break I immediately burst into tears. And god I remember that scene and it was a heartbreaker.
Ha he wasn't loyal he tried to have Carmine whacked in series 3 to steal the boss position. His own boss. I liked his character though apart from when he cried at the wedding. Phil Leotardo was right he loses respect points for that.

The fact that they clearly weren’t comfortable at the start, but when the memories flooded in and some ice was broken, i saw a ragtag bunch of great people who enjoyed their work through thick and thin. @Axiom Steel The actor who plays Uncle Junior, Dominic Chianese, is 88. The actor who played Hesh, Jerry Adler, is 91. 78 isn't totally old by today's standards and you can still be in great shape.
