Actually, it came from me having 2 separate drums parts recorded for one part of a song. I didn't have the 2nd drum part muted for play back and, when I heard them together..... I thought...that's wicked cool. D.
@alkaline300 YES! Labels like deathcore, nu metal, or whatever, those are what is dividing the metal fandom. Who cares if you don't like the band, it's still metal, and you're still a metalhead. Don't like it, don't listen to it, there's no reason to hate on the ones who do listen to it.

Besides 3 guitarists has a really heavy sound. And the lead singer of Nile has a double guitar so that sorta counts as three. It's all about what sounds good and who it sounds good to.

You know I am in a Prog/Technical Death Metal band and pretty much in it hates Deathcore. The only good Deathcore is WHITECHAPEL...(and JFAC). I will say it loud and proud!
