Linkin Park is life it was late at night and was tired but thanks for correcting me
Green Tea King No problem! You're welcome!
gawd dammit I was gonna say old lady at 4 30 like wtf
It's hard being in shape on tour. I am glad to see a few members taking it a seriously
R.I.P. mayhem fest
Robert Ojeda that’s fucked
Mayhem was awesome. I went like 3 years in a row. And it’s the first time I saw Whitechapel ironically.
What happened?
My band The Convalescence played a show this year out in Pennsylvania. We got there super early in the morning around like 6 or 7 am because we were on tour at that time, just got super lucky enough to get on a couple of the Mayhem Festival dates. When I woke up I walked of the bus and sure enough Whitechapels bus was parked right next to us! As I got off the bus I honestly was getting off to puke.. Lol The heat had destroyed me from the day before and then the 6 hour bus ride topped off my anxiety and hangover from the night before... BUT the coolest thing ever happened.. As I got off I kinda snuck behind the bus to get all the toxins out and BOOM low and behold Phil was also behind their bus and he was also puking 😂😂 I don't know if he would remember this at all but I know it's definitely a tour memory I could never forget lol When I got back there and heard him puking I then was like "You good man? " and he said "bouta be better here in a second" and then I started projectile puking all over. Talk about a "bonding experience" I had with Phil that I can never forget. The day was great once we finally got our band red bulls and beers but it was a rough one to say the least. It was about 105° that day so it was pretty much like we were all performing in an oven. By the end of the night and once the sun had went down we were all standing behind our buses taking shots and celebrating the day again. Great times. 🤘
I saw you guys in 2018 with aborted. You guys absolutely smashed. But I had one question in my mind. While you were on tour in 2018 your band the convalescence wore body paint. The whole band. And after being under hot lights and sweating your asses off and makeup all over how the hell did you stay clean on tour. That van must have had some rememberable smells. Lol not hating just was super curious. I love your album This is Hell and love the band.
@@roach5606 appreciate that brother! And that's bad ass you caught a show. Well in the beginning we were using not the best quality of paint and I'm not gonna lie in 2013 our first tour out we were in a three door prison van and it was pretty gross lol We would try to get some places to stay as much as possible with people we would meet at the shows but if we couldn't we would use baby wipes and then find a truck stop to wash off at. After a couple of years of doing that we finally figured out some tricks in settling the paint on our faces with a waterfproof sealent we found and that helped tremendously. The last 5 years a company that we partnered with now makes our paint for us that is filled with waterproofing sealents and it stays on through a whole show now no problem and then again finding a hotel when we could afford it or a fans place to crash which we ended up meeting a lot of great great welcoming people who we had the privilege of staying with to shower. It was definitely a struggle but a great learning experience. That's why most bands who used to do face paint switched to masks but we haven't because we still want to remain our original form. Honestly just took a lot of experimenting with different paints and trial and error.
I miss Mayhem Festival and Warped Tour so much.
most down to earth band. I love you guys.
4:04 - Ben Savage looks a bit like Dimebag here, doesn't he?
i didnt know ryan reynolds was part of the band
@Sweet Jones III is it weird that i read your comment in his voice? Haha
you beat me to it by two years
At a concert at the House of Blues in Houston, TX In 2011, I got as close as I could to Phil During the last song, It was hard because the whole crowd was a moshpit. I got close to him and he could tell I was hardcore enough to keep fighting my way up front, so I get there and all I wanted was to bang my head against his, and somehow he read my mind, banged his head against mind while shaking my hand, then allowed me to stage dive off, best part of the night.
Cool story bro
ThAt's sO mETaL

THAT IS THE MOST METAL THING I HAVE EVER SEEN \m/
i was there that day and met them at the signing they all seemed real pissed off and didn't wanna talk except for Phil and Ben lol
gtarhero lol
as in drunk or angry? lmao
When your 3 shows into the tour and realize your not the draw and have to perform in daylight.
I don't think any band genuinely enjoys those types of things. Those are the parts of day to day life of being a successful musician that could be compared to working.

Hi, Reba
keep fit dudes!!!, hope to see you on the road again....
4:31 the old lady in the bottom right lol
Ha ha
LOVE Whitechapel!!!
Savage looks like a young Dimebag - how the hell have I not noticed this before...?????
+billnmish because he didnt always have a beard.
And when he has glasses on he looks like a mix between Dimebag and Jonathon Davis
I was thinking that too, they're both from Texas haha.
Sick...this was definitely in Hartford Ct
Phil “let me put my leg up on this riser for maximum sound and projection” Bozeman.
I can’t believe the band has their own line of barber gowns 🤣 🤣

How does Phil warm up his vocals, in preparation for a live performance?
+Matt V. melissa cross zen of screaming its basically a classical warm up but more extreme
I came upon these dudes and was like wtf out of all the bands that played Hartford that day their set stands out
alex looking like he just shmoked a bewl in the intro haha
White chapel Keep in it real straight edge.....thats an awesome way to maintain good health on a tour that could easily diminish ones health.
I never noticed how thick their Tennessee drawl is...
haha they had tim Lambesis at the end of the video.
Nice
People are saying this tour is drawing pretty bad, which it is compared to prior years, but it looks like some dates it's doing pretty well for having a band like Slayer headline.
I went to the burgettstown, PA date and sure it was fun but it was very restricted and a lot of the people that I talked to said they were drawing at least 3-4 times as many people and it was a lot wilder in previous years. Wish I had a better experience but it was somewhat enjoyable nonetheless
Sounds like Emmure jamming out on stage in back ground
That's ct! I was there for that show. Fuckin badass performance
Same here man. I even got in the compilation video when feed her to the sharks was playing
Why do i think Zach looks like Ryan Reynolds?
Holy shit he does I never noticed that now I can't un see that
I didn't know Dimebag and Macaulay Culkin had a band together!!
This took place during Hartford Connecticuts show
I saw that tour in NJ. I Miss mayhem
Dan DeBerry I was looking in the comments hoping somebody was thinking the same. Thank you
If you have nothing better to do, play this video again and count how many times did they use the word 'like'.
Howecome they did not interview gabe??
I've said it before but, metal has really changed behind the scenes over the years
How so? Like from the how in 80’s n 90’s ?
@@ZacariahSitchin - Well, alot of metal bands in the 80's and 90's were drinking and doing drugs and fucking groupies....that type of thing. Now they work out, don't do drugs and drink nearly as much and have families
@@crazyjoedavola5430Downright sad innit? But Whitechapel is hardly metal to begin with.
@@finismalorum9746 huh? Yeah. Need more Vince Neil’s 😂

that's not a day in metal that a day since you showing off .
why not just include the live audio for these videos? the production is great and the studio music pulls you right out of the whole experience of the video.
