I wish Ben would've gone over what and how they did the internal micing for those.
Just need an l bracket which you can mount to the existing screws and a thumb screw to mount the mic, the pain in the ass part is mounting an xlr connector

animal1064 Yes they are Evans skins but with the Tama logo on it from the Tama factory. I guess he doesn't switch out since he is already endorsed by Evans.

True, but still. I feel like it's the easy way out, just trigger it and little work to make it actually sound good lol

i agree, a natural kick sounds better live by far, i saw northlane play a while back, and it was like being punched in the chest that kick caused earthquakes man. Non triggered drums have so much more presence live.

+Insanity Plague I disagree as a drummer I understand triggering a kick drum especially for metal because when you play kick that fast the notes get lost in the low frequency so it's a way to improve the sound. It's not cheating it's an enhancement. Only closed minded people look for the negative in it.
