For those of you that weren't aware, Phil Bozeman has a personal RUclips account! Just look up *phillybo1985* in the search bar. He's elaborated on his upbringing in the past, plus he does vlogs whenever he has the chance. :D
0:17 is such a clever shot. It teases us since it cuts off right when he's about to start growling into the mic. The music swells right then as well, excellent job.
My heart sank when I heard he lost both of his parents at a young age, I knew he lost his mom ( Murder Sermon ) but I never knew the whole truth until know. My grandparents raised me and when my grandpa died when I was 7 everything changed. I moved out at 16, so I know how it feels. Whitechapel's album A New Era of Corruption I can relate to it, and it has got me through my hard times, and I will be forever grateful to the, because of it.
i don't listen to this band but i can sympathize with phil's life story. i've had addict family members and it just fucks everything in a family. even though you are blood related, you start to see people for who they really are and it sucks when it is your cousins or uncles starting shit
This is really unimportant but I couldn't help but wonder- if you don't listen to the band, how do you know Phil's history (well, it's in the video partially)... but that means you watched the video at least- but you don't even like them? Random place to show up at, then..? Not being sarcastic or negative in any way, I just had to wonder how that happened. I've never accidentally ended up watching like the making of justin beibers latest gay sex tape or 1 erection's page paying attention to their lives growing up... get me? Lol.
poisonfortheweak The itazte and KangerTech EVOD are pretty good ones IMO. The itazte has an adjustable voltage regulator that can change the intensity of the vapour.
I can't believe it's been six years since this album released. One of their best no doubt. Phil Bozeman to this day remains one of the most genuine, passionate, and good-hearted people on earth.
I've never followed this band, but from what emotion and heart he put in to writing after all he had been through; I believe I am going to pick up this album.
this is really a masterpiece of a fucking album. i could not believe what i was listening to when i first hit play. you guys have really outdone yourselves. you have changed my life.
these inside looks into producing this album is awesome. i hate how some people are saying they've gone downhill. are you kidding me?? still love em, and still going strong
I was really shocked that it was on there! It made me realize that every time I hear it when I travel to a concert, it feels like everything slows down around me.
Where he comes from on this he has a point this song explains what we all go threw well some of us do may not be your favorite album but if it defines you and what your going threw your thought doesn't really matter just to that person who truly understands is
When this first came out I was mad, it didn't have Phil's gutturals, (accept the last song) but then I heard heard the lyrics to diggs road. The emotion was more dominant than the aggression. I now love this album. Whitechapel is superior.
I wish you guys would come and play in oakland CA again. the venue was so small and personal! it was amazing. but the places you play in SF are bad ass and fit more people to mosh with. still i take a smaller venue any day to see you folks play there
I can relate to Diggs road and the Our endless war album. You guys are my favorite band of all time and every time you release an album you guys never seize to amaze me.
if you want the lyrics I've wrote them out. Diggs Road. SUICIDE! It brings me life. It's the only way I know how to cope with things. These tears are burning holes in my face. My memory of them is purpose, now the memory forever ERASED! (Chorus) Even if you're in hell, I'll go down in flames, just to see your faces again. But until that day I'll sit here and wait to die, cause time doesn't heal a thing. (Solo) SUICIDE! Is the only thing left for me. Time does not heal anything I saw you move in a dream your arm stretched out reaching for me in the night I awoke calling your name for the person. TIME WON'T HEAL A THING! (Solo) In my dreams is where I seek to find you. Consciousness is living hell Close these eyes, forever I will sleep Forever Asleep (Knowing you're inside) I'll close my eyes (I'll come to you) So I can see you again I'LL COME TO YOU CAUSE TIME WON'T HEAL A THING! (Chorus) Even if you're in hell, I'll go down in flames, just to see your faces again. But until that day I'll sit here and wait to die, cause time doesn't heal a thing. Time won't heal Time doesn't heal A THING! Forever Asleep (Knowing you're inside) I'll close my eyes (I'll come to you) So I can see you again I'll Close My Eyes.
Phil taking a different approach to this album such as screaming faster and including more highs unlike the self titled album was a great addition. If they laid out the same template as before, this album would of been stale. Alex's riffs were catchy and Ben does a superb job on the drums and the lead guitarist wrote solos that really fit well into each song. The intensity and badassery definitely lived up to it's hype, in my opinion!
Hayden Fletcher hey man, look at it like this. they haven't made a bad one yet. yeah, not the best in my opinion either but it's sure is well good written.
Holy shit I am loving these Studio videos

Meaningful lyrics, sick riffs, this one is going to be a banger

If you think Phil has messed up his voice, you should check the bonus song called "Fall of the Hypocrites"...

They have lyrically. A bit instrumentally but mostly lyrically.
Major respect to Phil to share his life with everybody in Diggs Road. Can't wait for the album to come out!

Phil Bozeman is the man! I just love the way he sees/thinks about stuff. Would love to work with him some day
When this first came out I was mad, it didn't have Phil's gutturals, (accept the last song) but then I heard heard the lyrics to diggs road. The emotion was more dominant than the aggression. I now love this album. Whitechapel is superior.
mad respect for these guys. I know I will be able to relate to diggs road.
I wish you guys would come and play in oakland CA again. the venue was so small and personal! it was amazing. but the places you play in SF are bad ass and fit more people to mosh with. still i take a smaller venue any day to see you folks play there
A lot of the background music used for this video came from The Book Of Eli soundtrack.
Diggs road is a great song. I'm glad I was lucky enough to get my hands on the album early.

Love hearing the story behind recording the album
Best till these day.
I can relate to Diggs road and the Our endless war album. You guys are my favorite band of all time and every time you release an album you guys never seize to amaze me.
DeadInParadise_christian same (some what) i love the emotion in the screams in that song. its one of my faves
DeadInParadise_christian It's cease instead of seize by the way. Just wanted to point that out.
Using The Book of Eli's score is just... sick!! Best idea to fit this segment!
I have the album. Its great.
0:23 Phil's like "Yup. I did that".
The Book of Eli soundtrack playing in the video makes it so much more epic.

Riggs road is one of my favorites on the album
Your best album in my opinion. I don't give a shit what people say.

Anyone else notice the Book of Eli theme in the background? 3:45
I was hoping someone else would notice it. Such an awesome score.

The song in the background is from the book of Eli soundtrack haha.
if you want the lyrics I've wrote them out.
Diggs Road.
SUICIDE!
It brings me life.
It's the only way I know how to cope with things.
These tears are burning holes in my face.
My memory of them is purpose, now the memory forever ERASED!
(Chorus)
Even if you're in hell, I'll go down in flames, just to see your faces again.
But until that day I'll sit here and wait to die, cause time doesn't heal a thing.
(Solo)
SUICIDE!
Is the only thing left for me.
Time does not heal anything
I saw you move in a dream
your arm stretched out reaching for me
in the night I awoke calling your name
for the person.
TIME WON'T HEAL A THING!
(Solo)
In my dreams is where I seek to find you.
Consciousness is living hell
Close these eyes, forever I will sleep
Forever Asleep
(Knowing you're inside)
I'll close my eyes
(I'll come to you)
So I can see you again
I'LL COME TO YOU
CAUSE TIME WON'T HEAL A THING!
(Chorus)
Even if you're in hell, I'll go down in flames, just to see your faces again.
But until that day I'll sit here and wait to die, cause time doesn't heal a thing.
Time won't heal
Time doesn't heal
A THING!
Forever Asleep
(Knowing you're inside)
I'll close my eyes
(I'll come to you)
So I can see you again
I'll Close My Eyes.
whenever i was ten. whenever i was fifteen... wtf lol
Am i the only one that through this album was hyped up too much for what it actually turned out to be?
this album is easily my favorite.. what happened to you?
Greg Smith It just had to me nothing that really changed the sound dramatically as they said, I through it would be a lot different
Phil taking a different approach to this album such as screaming faster and including more highs unlike the self titled album was a great addition. Greg Smith I just felt like i'd heard it before still got some good songs on there. Glad you like it man
Hayden Fletcher
hey man, look at it like this. they haven't made a bad one yet. yeah, not the best in my opinion either but it's sure is well good written.
I know that soundtrack...
awel enlet wal
My parents unfortunately just broke up after 5 years, so diggs road means somethin' ;(.
Casualdrugusechapel, haha
Any ideas on why phil is playing guitar?
Most band members are able to switch instruments. He may have just been messing around or doing an overdub or something.
well he was the guitarist in a metalcore band before whitechapel haha
3 people are slow.......
What am I watching, a documentary?? These are not studio videos.
