Necklace Valley | Early Alpine Fishing

On this Adventure ‪@BourbonForageFishing‬ and I try our luck on early spring trout. We set out to the Alpine Lakes Wilderness to find stocked trout in a known hot spot. little did we know it wouldn't be so hot, This trail is only the beginning to a much greater opportunity high above.

My buddy and I call that "Troutless Lake." Packrafts and other measures were no help to us.
I believe that lake is not stocked while the higher ones have been.

Wow, I can't believe this! Sounds like our luck was the same. WDFW says it's a hot spot.

It has some very small trout I have caught them. I think tourists that can only hike a short distance overfish the lake. Once I saw several fish skeletons in the shallows. Also trout like is not considered necklace valley.
