Helicopter rescue of injured hiker after 60' fall
On this third attempt the crew gave Round mountain in Darrington Washington one more shot from the winter route and it was a successful summit. Little did we know on the 9th of June I would have a nasty fall and need to be rescued by SAR. Big thanks to each and everyone involved from the beginning and through my recovery.

This was a long over due summit of Lookout Mountain Fire Lookout. May 27th @ 4AM I hit the trail with a great three hours to summit and a early return, I highly recommend this one to anyone seeking a solitude. This is a well kept and clean lookout with a big bang. This coin toss of a trip with juan was just the begining. It started with a coin toss landing on heads 3 times. It was supposed to happen in the rain, so we went for it. Raptor ridge is an excellent way to spend a morning in the PNW. Easy trail to follow for the most part with maintained trails throughout. I spent the morning trail running mostly to prepare myself for a upcoming half marathon. Lets get moving and see what this 6 mile round trip has to offer.

Today on this windy adventure (March-9-2024) I do this incredible loop trail from Goose Rock down to North Beach and then finish it off at Cranberry lake located in the heart of the park. 4.15 miles with a whopping gain of only 1253 ft.
