I have the "big brother" to this monitor (LG 38WN95C-W) and I use it for my home office and gaming. It was a heck of an investment ($1600 USD plus tax), but after owning it for 2 months, my productivity has dramatically increased. LG UltraWide monitors for the win! 🙌

Very nice monitor. I was contemplating getting one for awhile but went for a dual display set up as I prefer the flexibility. Have one 27” 4k LG in portrait which is good for viewing logs and scrips and my main 32” Ergo for everything else. Doesn’t look as clean as the ultra wide but as long as your setup works best for your workflow then all good. Video editing on that looks super satisfying!

UltraWide Setup looking really really nice mate! As I've mentioned before, these newer stands look so much better and very clean, but I really don't understand why LG don't make them so you can feed cables inside. The clip they include is ok but an internal cable management would be a lot better.

38 is just right... currently I have two of them, an older acer XR38, and an LG 38GN950-B, I picked the Acer up off Craigslist a couple months ago for $300(a steal) and I picked up the LG last week for $500(another steal) then I have a vertical orientation 27 inch 4k IPS sitting between them. I'm completely hooked... I want another...

Would be really cool to see you make a high end gaming pc. One video with a step-by-step time lapse and other video explaining the parts etc. I think it would make great content since the demands for gaming pc’s have insanely increased and seeing as your channel is in the same category.
Windows user here with a 43" 4K TV as a monitor. I use PowerToys which does almost exactly what Magnet does for you. With the 4K TV I get slightly more horizontal space but way more vertical space; and with PowerToys I have basically a 21:10 workspace area for premium productivity. I give up USB-C, but I got a 120hz panel and eARC. Besides, depending on which TV you get and at what time, it could actually be cheaper than a monitor like this. Paired with a Vivo stand and its (IMO) better than an "UltraWide Setup."
I got this last week, it is awesome with my MacBook Air M1. Only disadvantage is that you can only control the sound volume with the toggle behind the screen and can't do it on the screen with the mouse or keyboard. Also my light bar monitor lamp won't clip on the top of the screen as the clamp is not wide enough
I feel like this screen is perfect for productivity. I currently have a triple 1080p set up and miss the higher resolution that I am used to on my iPad, iPhone and laptop.
This looks like a dreamy monitor. I was looking for a new one as my LG has red corner of death :(. This looks like top 3 of my choice. Great video and information keep it up.
Man those Grovemade products are so nice. Really wish there was a retailer in the UK. Dont want to pay an arm and a leg for the custom taxes. Great video as always too!
