Bonjasky was my favorite fighter back in the day. I dearly enjoyed his 2003/2004 run. Hoost, Aerts, Sefo and LeBanner were some of the all time greats. Gary Goodridge, Bob Sapp and Mighty Mo were some of the most entertaining characters back then.

Musashi is by far the worst fighter ever to compete in the K1 GP finals. He's only their because he qualified in the Japanese GP qualifier. He's not that good and Japanese fighters are far from tough. They'd re weak and over rated.
Musashi only ever made it into the final 16 because he was able to win the Japanese qualifier. That's like qualifying for the world Cup of soccer as a men's team by competing against women's teams to get there. This is one of the weaker final round tournament line ups of all K1 GP finals.

当時色々言われたけど、やっぱり武蔵ってめちゃくちゃ強かったよな！
以前、セフォーには瞬殺されていた記憶がありますが、今回は武蔵のローキックがモロ入って、かなりセフォーが動揺してましたね、、セフォーが奇声あげるのは、効いている証拠で武蔵は強かった

当時言われてたとおり、武蔵は日本人の中では最強でも、トップクラスの外国人には歯が立たないレベルです。この大会で勝てたのは、単に相手が負傷してまともに戦える状態じゃなかっただけ。今武蔵を持ち上げてる人は、単に武蔵のチャンネルを見て感情移入してるだけ。勝っても毎回判定でつまらない。
この年位から、トランクスがちょっと短くなったせいで、余計にそう観えてしまうのかもしれないが、アーツの脚・スネの裏・ヒラメ筋て呼ばれる部分が、やたら細くなったのが目立ちます。昔のアーツはもっと脚が太く、本当に斧みたいなローキックだった

ただ、現在ｋ-1ＭＡＸの上位互換となったONEにおいて70㎏級100㎏級を席巻してるのがイグナショフの居るジムの選手であり、2002～2003年っていう短期間ではあるがイグナショフはｋ-1を滅茶苦茶彩ってた
