- Train Working Hard Up The Hill! 2 Trains Passing On The Hill At The Steepest And Curviest Part! Includes Train Way Up High At High Bridge Kentucky! This Is The Norfolk Southern Railroad Rat Hole Line At Crescent Springs, Kentucky and High Bridge, Kentucky.
The first train is running up the hill long hood forward and has a bunch of boxcars. Then we see a train ease down the hill and pass another train coming up the hill. This is pretty cool. As a bonus we see a clip that I never posted of a train crossing the 308 feet high railroad trestle at High Bridge, Kentucky. These trains are all on the same railroad line in central Kentucky.
Don't miss the Live Action Pets and the slide show that comes from the video.
Filmed Tuesday, August 19, 2024 in 1080p with 60fps. Thanks for watching!

Your the safari wagon wizard of railfanning
Is that your front yard at the end of the post. Beautiful trees and that board fence - Like we used to have around all our pastures on our farm. All gone now. what memories your fences bring back. Those trees are magnificent. You must live in a peaceful place. Take care JT, thanks for the posting, that big bridge is quite a sight. Imagine building that thing.
Wow! Amazing bridge and scenery!
Many thanks!
@@JawTooth You're welcome!
Awesome meet on the hill, one going down one going up, and another going over that massive bridge in KY, still in awe of that High Bridge, trains look so small going across it. Well done JT!👍🏼
Awesome story!👍👍👍👍🔥😊
Have a wonderful week.
Thank you! You too!
Nice.
The cat charging, the cat fully charged, the dogs needing recharge soon. ❤
And in case I forget, the video of the High Bridge is fantastic! We human beings really have some geniuses in our midst. Where a pessimist sees a problem, an optimist sees a vista of possibilities, and thus turns a challenge into a work of beauty! Thanks too you, Jaw Tooth, for finding such amazing locations and sharing these with us so that WE also can marvel at the wonders that populate our shared world!
Crescent springs good heavy train going down the hill the rat hole line gave us some great action great video thanks Brian
I Love your work Jaw Tooth, my name is Anthony Moore from Alabama, but I live in Germany,Enjoy Your video and you are awesome ❤
Good video Jawtooth
Thanks!
Great train action, 3 trains in one catch.... priceless 🎉🎉🎉🎉
You caught some good trains on the Rat Hole today. I always enjoy seeing trains on that line. I always enjoy the live action pets, too! Your dogs are very well behaved! If that piece of equipment drove past my house, my dog would be throwing a fit. He thinks he owns the road wherever we are. He's really annoying after dark, because he'll bark at headlights 3/4 of a mile away, but we still love him. ❤❤❤ Thaks again for the fabulous video, and I pray you and yours have a blessed weekend, JT! Please be safe,
That,s a very interesting bridge, amazing!
This is a really great area for watching trains at with a nice view
of them as they go by especially Norfolk Southern trains and the
pedestrian bridge is another awesome place for watching them
at for a better view, as always the amazing awesome live action pets
looking really nice and the great rocking music slide show thank you Jaw Tooth.🚂🚃🚃🇺🇲
Great trains great pets and Misses Tooth Kool! Thank You Jaw Tooth
Awesome views JT! Fantastic video once again!
🚂🚂🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃💯👍🇺🇸
That first train was the same locomotive that was the manned helper in the last video! So cool!
Great video
Thanks!
@@JawTooth no problem
The new kitty is a fan favorite with Chessie. Without training, herding dogs will claim and protect other animals on a farm.
It's so nice to see Mrs. Tooth. We love her.
Yes 😊
That bridge is a spectacular sight. You don't realize how big it is until a train crosses it!
What type of trucks are those frames for...???
We grew up with a 1953 Muntz B&W TV... The 4 minutes looks fine.
This is beautiful, two trains at once and you are looking at eye level. This may seem strange to some of you but to me, it feels good. You are so close to the trains.
3082 on that tank car is just something you don't want spilling into the environment any more than you have to. No particular chemical. You were right about the ethanol. The whole country sees enough ethanol tank cars to have 1987 memorized. I think that's mostly what we're burning in our cars. Especially in California. Oh, well…
I like that spot, JT. Always good trains there with some 16-cylinder symphonies. 👍🖖🚂
Good timing! And awesome trestle shot! 🎉😊
Love the locations. Train meet was awesome. Thank you JT for including the high bridge. There’s Tommy, a good looking kitten. Loki, Chessie. Machinery headed down your road. ID unknown. ❤
Hi my good Thanks for the train it me Eric 1 love my friend and give my to the families.😀😀😸😸😸💓💓💓💓💓
Nice Video
Thanks
Those are some really great shots of the trains
One of your best videos, Brian! Thank you!
This bridge reminds me of one over the Allegany River with part of the Pa turnpike next to it in Cheswick Pa. Spectacluar sight as well.
On the hill at crescent springs.thanks for another great video JT.
Glad you enjoyed it
Captivating, Brian! As always, your choice of venues, quality of your filming and your informative commentary just makes your train videos so good. Thanks, Brian. Marcel from Saskatchewan.
I think that was the first time I ever heard Chessie say anything!😁
Great shot of that bridge
Hey jaw tooth awesome trains. Always fun getting a horn salute. You and Mrs tooth have a great weekend and railroad day. 🚂🙋♀️

Thanks for watching 😊
Awesome JT, just Awesome. 👍
Excellent video JT Wow thanks for another awesome train 🚆 video have a great day from Scotland 😊
Thanks, you too!
@@JawTooth Thanks JT your very welcome 😊
Jaw Tooth, I can't get enough of your content, so I subscribed!
The local did not have any trouble making it up The Hill because of its size. That was a great catch of the meet of the two trains working on The Hill. Too bad you were not up on the pedestrian bridge when the train meet occurred. If you were on the pedestrian bridge, the car counters would have been able to count cars on each train. There were 360 truck frames on that last train coming down The Hill. There were nine flat cars with 40 truck frames per flat car. Thank you for adding that last train moving across the High Bridge over the Kentucky River to this video. The Maintenance of Way Hi Rail backhoe on the High Bridge was a bonus. Merci beaucoup pour cette très belle vidéo ! 👍🙏
Merci à vous 😊
@@JawTooth De rien. Très bonne journée !

The NS trains through the hill.the amazing moment so good!!!!!
😨😱🚂🇱🇷😘😍😁💟💟💟💟💟
The mixed manifest train meet was good, JT! Both trains were awesome. One had 2 cars of marine pollutant, and the other had one open coil steel car among the freight. The variety was very interesting. Good catch, JT! Thank you. 😃😃😃❤❤❤
Hey that was a cool train meet and the engineer gave you a salute. 😅. Cool video. Thanks 👍❤️
Love the horn echoing in the valley on the high bridge crossing. Great job.
The machine you saw is used to clear the brush under the power lines after the giraffe cuts the limbs
Perfect video @JawTooth love it keep it up
Thanks! Will do!
Hi Jaw Tooth, I've been watching you for the past 4 years. Love your videos. Always look forward to. your videos.
Good morning
Really impressive for sure. Nice to see.
Somewhere on those auto racks my new truck is on there😊
I was expecting a trailing *"DPU"* on that first train 😮
I played it again, and yes, that engine was working hard. 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼
Some of the stuff that's painted on the train cars is nice
True Artist 🎨 👌
Awesome live action, that location is perfect for trains.
Awesome video..Enjoyed it
Good morning Jaw Tooth.

Twice in a row, the S70AC no. 1094 , yesterday and today
Awesome video!!!!
Fantastic bridge at 21:38! Didn't know it existed. Thanks for another great vid, JT - have a good weekend. Fine train weather, too.
A little late watching..but I am here now!
Hey Jaw Tooth. I watch your videos almost every day. Thank you. Next time you're in Ashland KY check out the former C&O Railway passenger station at 11th St and Carter Ave. It is just two blocks from the blue & green bridges and in front of the Ashland Central Fire Station. Part of the passenger platforms remain behind what is now the PNC Bank. A passenger coach has been converted to a meeting room and sits near the platform. GPS "PNC Bank Ashland KY" will take you to the front door.
'been across Rt.66 once ... but I-75 is thee Mother Road in My life !
If it's on I-75 , I can Get There 👍
JT I didn’t see nothing wrong with that last train you filmed going down the hill but anyway you just don’t know how big those eye beams are on that Highbridge until you see a train going over it that is one big massive structure and just think when they built that thing back in the day they didn’t have the modern technology like we have today as far as the cranes and things like that, but anyway, another awesome video my friend and as always you stay safe and watch your back and we’ll see you on the next one
Oh, and on that last train that went down the hill, they had 720 truck frames on it
More great catches on the hill Jawtooth!👍absolutely love the high bridge footage!👍
Thanks a lot!
🤣thank voor de video, have a nice weekend with Jackie en the kids an the animals. greetz:🍐Peer en Tony.😂
Well that was a fun video. Second of the two trains sure was a long one. To bad you couldn’t ha camera set up on the pedestrians bridge to get an overhead shot of the two trains. Nice job as always
I see the Tooth Family got a new cat what happened to your other cat 🙀 Norfie i haven't see him in the videos
cool mate
Hmm interesting machine their .Jessie not afraid to speak her mind woof woof 🐶🐶🐶
Awesome shot on the high bridge
More great video of interesting trains. ALL YOUR train videos are of good ones. I have yet to see a bad train, maybe except of a train wreck. Keep up the OUTSTANDING WORK.
The video at High Bridge is awesome. It’s close to Shakertown, KY. My parents still took me there a couple times in the mid 80’s.
Excellent video!
Another 👍 Mr. 🦷
Wow amazing video of them Norfolk southern trains they are running faster with them DPU’s

And hello to Mrs JawTooth

I would love for you to share some of your short train stories right before or after the train comes. Unusual, unique, your favorites, your childhood with trains, first train encounter, how you got your passion ect.
Jaw Tooth where do you get those famous Hawaiian shirts you wair. Up here in Michigan I can't find them. Think you for another awesome videos. God bless you.

You get a lot of live awesome action, Brian. I enjoy watching it all, my friend. Double the action on the hill. That's very awesome.

Boy JT. That rr bridge has got to be the highest in the country
That was awesome
I love that low rumble echoing thru the Canyon.
😅thats raely cool 1 crane on the bridge, toppie!!!!!!!!🤣
Back in the days when we were in school they used to talk about grading on a curve. Here on the NS it's a curve on a grade and we'll give it an A for action. Locals and long distance, meets and DPUs it's all here
you got to remember, not all the train video we shoot is Oscar winning material.....lol
Hi JT, another fab installment at Crescent Springs KY. up the hill & down the hill! I thought when the train stopped another one was coming that was an awesome shot JT. Nice bonus of a train Over High Bridge just spectacular! Have a great weekend JT. ❤😊👍
