Flats, "undetected cheats" means that it won't get auto-flagged by anti-cheat. For Blizzard, that's not a high bar to clear.

I'm under the impression they don't actually have anti-cheats worth a shit. How does it not pick up the most obvious inhuman inputs? I feel like It either doesn't exist or it's not turned on
@@BafroomHumor I'm under the impression that they just don't give a crap about any of the issues in the game. They literally never address any of the actual problems in the game and instead just roll out character rebalances as if thats what the players really care about. They never deal with the cheaters, never fix matchmaking, never fix the broken ranked system, never fix the quitter problem. But hey, after 2 months of study we gave soldier +1 dmg.
After they started bragging about "well we might not catch every cheater but we catch this many in a day so 😝"

As far as the Soldier .0076 play, I think what the reporter meant by 'pedal' is the toggle switch method for turning cheats on and off. There are foot pedals that can be wired to PCs for purposes of driving games or even for playing piano on the PC. Apparently some hacker figured out how to utilize that as an on/off button for the cheats and word is out about it now. Foot pedal = toggle.
Even back in the Dark Souls 1 days on the PS3 we had those issues. Its nothing new.

I know this a month later, but I think it could also mean that he doesn't use Soldier's run ability, not once. Maybe that's what their cheat toggle is bound to?

A great use for a foot pedal is push to talk. Used to raid with people who used it.
The only reason to pop ult as soldier is for auto aim and faster reloads, but cheaters don't benefit from either since they lack game sense to make use of them.
They use it to hide them having aimbot for POTG
I wouldn't be surprised if they don't even know what the ult does and assume it makes them do more damage
I’m not sure why Flats even asks that in the video because if chat asks during any other cheater vid, he will say what you said or say that it’s to hide cheating. I’m guessing he just asks to have a good reaction.

My favorite part about the soldier cheater is that he doesn't even make an attempt to move his mouse, he just starts firing and hopes the lock on will flick to someone while he's shooting.

The Soldier wasn't actually human, it was an experimental AI that got the directive to play like an idiot.
I genuinely think that if you gave the in game soldier ai wall hacks and aimbot you wouldn't be able to tell the difference.

I think the pedal mentioned in the soldier clip was probably a foot pedal some cheaters use to turn on and off their cheats without stopping to turn them on, this can sometimes be seen when the hackers decide to stream on twitch and show their set up to prove that they are hacking
nobody has ever taken more damage from a DVA bomb than that soldier diving headfirst into it

The Orisa survived the bomb but got killed by an enemy right after.

I'm actually kinda disappointed that the second game wasn't ranked because that would have been the most fulfilling fulfillment of the Dva Bomb pact that I have ever seen
I can explain the whole "shooting walls" thing from Soldier players that are hacking. As a COD player myself, in older titles you could actually shoot through walls (naturally), and cheaters often had the ability to shoot through all walls at once. So they'd be aimbotting and shooting through an infinite number of walls.

Get 10 cheaters together and put them all in a game and tell them they have high level teammates, nobody knows that everyone else is a cheater too
I remembered a few years ago, there were these hackers that turned their cheats on, because of the enemy hackers. It was entertaining but sad at the same time. I had no idea that I would experience so many cheaters in one game😅

My coworker is a bit of a scummy dude, he makes cheats, and said there is in fact a cheat that registers people on low health (and if they’re close enough) auto melees them.
Should make a new account, use cheats and don’t hide it, but stop before you win games to try and give opponent wins, and see how long it takes to get banned

ive been noticing cheaters more and more often, ones that are just blatant if not very close to it due to being bad at hiding them, its worrying because its been noted all across the skill ladder both in quickplay and comps
Cause a lot of the legit players either gave up on bliz management or joined the hackers because they lost respect for OW

That last guy was playing with his headphones off and his eyes shut. I also find it funny that when he burst fires he always pauses when the enemy is actually LOS and not behind a wall

I was playing against a cheater the other day who also confused enemy and same team, and one of the ways you could tell cheats were on if you were somehow in denial about it was the difference in aim when aimbot was working (enemy team, hitting all possible shots) and wasn't (own team, kind of spraying in the general area around a teammate).

genji cheats have 2 things you're seeing here besides normal aimbot. 1: auto dash low HP targets, 2: Auto melee low HP targets in range. Some of the more advanced cheats also have "auto" blade where it'll basically just kill anything within dash range automatically.

i think my favourite part of all these cheater videos is seeing the cheaters like- being unable to sit still, i swear to god once a teams dead the cheater will just look aroudn on cart like "what do i do now? do i go to their spawn? do i stay here?" until they eventually just start walking towards their spawn. every time.

I face these types all the time, and yeah... nobody says anything if they're not using a hitscan. Lot of these Genji's out there that are better than OWL players... aside from the game sense and actual skill.

Met my first ow hacker with some mates a couple of nights ago. Guy was playing hog and was 1 tapping everyone. It was almost like season 2 again, but worse.
Auto melee within range was a thing i've witnessed in bo3, not unreasonable to think something similar could show up here. Add in the extra condition that the enemy has enough health to be killed by it and voila.
The absolute SPEED at which they switch targets hurts my eyes 😢

From what I've heard from a game dev, sometimes they don't ban some people outright unless a ton of people call them out. They know they're cheating, but it's moreso a tactic to piss off people who cheat and the people who makes these cheats and just ban in waves.

i mostly play quick play in overwatch since I just want to play for fun but I gotta say, I had my fair share with these cheaters. Its really hard to tell (if they are not ragehacking) if you skip your death replay but once you watch it, you'll know immediately that they are cheating.
By pedal they mean they bind they're lockon toggle button to a wheel controllers pedal allowing them to use their foot to engage their hack
