Thanks for watching! Make sure you spray them down and let them soak with PB Blaster or something like that. Should be a #55 Torx tip if original equipment. Good luck!
Thanks for clarifying where the different length bed bolts go. I didn't notice they were different until it was time to put the bed back on. None of the other videos I watched touched on that.
That was a short-lived victory. I replaced the fuel pump, started and ran strong, no leaks. Put the bed back on- won't start and I smell gas. Life with a Ranger...

Of the six bolts, 2 are longer and go in the front 2 holes. As far as the size of the hex, I do not remember but we used a standard hex set. The originals were #55 torx. Replacements regular hex/Allen. I'll include that type of info in the future. Thanks for watching!
You're really pleasant to listen to, I don't even own a Ranger but I stayed because I loved listening to you.
Wow, thank you!
02 ford ranger with rusted bed bolts. Attempting to replace tomorrow. Great video

Excellent video. Am changing the bed on my 2005 Ranger next week and the info about T-55 head bed bolts on Amazon was also helpful.
Thanks and good luck!
Great info.. thank you! I just picked up a 2004 Ranger, so this was massively helpful.
Very glad to help and thanks for watching! We have a few Ranger videos with more coming. Stay tuned!

The leaf spring and shackles video shows us lifting the bed back on the truck.
Thanks for the fast reply! I'm replacing my bed bolts on my 2003 ranger, and I actually have one that is broken. Did these seem like good quality?
@@brianwheeler8146 yes they seemed fine and much less in cost that the dorman set.
THE SIX HEX BOLTS ARE THE SAME SIZE HE SAID BUT WHAT SIZE?, GREAT!

2003 are torx head bolts. Do you know what size?
T-55. The replacements come with hex if you buy new ones.
What size L and key is the sixth bolts?
Originals for us were number 55 torx. The new ones from Amazon were hex heads. Can't remember the size.
