    25 and this is my dream to be able to do to all cars. Living in the midwest so many wasted cars due to rust. Great work

    Wish I had a garage and tools to do this to my 02 ranger. Maybe sometime eventually in the future.
    Great job on the project.

    Very different to the European Rangers which were made in partnership with Mazda. All Rangers here have had a full box section chassis and since we have lots or rain and salt spread on roads in Winter, lots more rust. In fact I’m amazed at how rust free the chassis of this one was, considering its age.

    You should do an update on how it’s holding up.

    Not hating just curious but wouldn’t it be better to sand down all the rust and then put on the product?

    What do you estimate the cost of this is? Have a 1998 that I’m restoring and this will be apart of her fix up.

    • @RacingPaint
      @RacingPaint  2 года назад

      you do if there is alot of loose flaky rust, mine was just surface rust and not too bad.

    I don't know where you live but you are lucky, these are minors corrosion injuries compared to what cars and trucks gets up north. Where i am in north Canada there is a lot of salt and calcium spread on the roads and it affects the lives of our cars & trucks.

    • @RacingPaint
      @RacingPaint  3 года назад +1

      Yes you are correct. This truck is in excellent condition considering it’s age. I plan on keeping this truck a long time and the zero rust will help to protect it. It will work on severe rust as well. Just make sure to get rid of the loose rust flakes and then put 2-3 coats of product on.

    The problem is you got rust underneath that stuff you just spray on that frame.

    • @RacingPaint
      @RacingPaint  2 года назад +2

      Yes, zero rust goes directly on top of rust and stops it.

      Is a rust coating, its job is to literally stop the rust from growing. And trust me it works great. Is in the title of the video 🤣
