I just took those bolts out of a 98 donor truck. I broke the bolts loose going back an forth, when i got the head of the bolt up about an 1/8 in i used a real small screwdriver and held the bolt up and sprayed wd-40 under the washer, and lots of it. Moved to the next one. Sprayed again. They came out pretty easy.
I tried removing the bed bolts with my electric impact and the bed bolts just vibrated and didn’t turn. It’s easy to strip the T-55 threads in the head of the bed bolts. Once the threads are stripped it’s a lot harder to remove them.
my bed screws were completely rusted, I used a grinder to make a straight and deep cut on the screws heads, until I reached the washer. After that you just need a good chisel and a good hammer, the screw heads open like walnuts and you are free of this problem quickly and easily.

What a pain, specially if the bolts are completely rusted, I need to do this with my truck... :'(
Only 1 of 10 gave me trouble. Impact wrench wasn’t usable with them because of flexing of the anchors.

What year is yours?

Frame is straight, just the bed was bowed from the collision.
3 women drivers 😂
A 4th woman hit the rear bumper a week after one of the other hits but it only left a scratch on an already damaged bumper.
Seems like the only thing with value in ur life is that cheap Chinese tool! 🎉
I’ve had the 3/4” drive Chinese socket set for over 20 years and I’ve used it maybe 8 times. It was the threads of the bed bolt that stripped.
