Dude.. thank you for sharing! The content is of good quality information that is applicable for production visualization use and the pace of the information being shared is comfortable to listen too.
hello ma'am I am nidhi from india and really thanks to you because I am searching some good video tutorial related Maya and my search has ended on you. Thank you so much :)
thanks for the tutorial.. i was wondering... is there a way i could add an image such scratches, and random markings ontop of the ambient occlussion to make the rust look more random and realistic.
Hi! this is such a great tutorial! I'm just wondering, I have multiple objects in my scene and I want to add AO to all of the objects. They all have different materials already. I'm just wondering, what's another method of applying AO to all of them?
If you want this for a substance to maya workflow. Plug the basecolor(into input 1) and plug the ai ambientOcclusion out color(into input 2) into a multiply Divide then plug the multiplydivide into basecolor of the aistandardsurface
Wouldn't it be more interesting if you connect the rust texture to a aiCurvatureShader? I think it would be more natural for a metallic object. Anyway, it's just aesthetic, I could understand the concept without any problems. Really love your channel!!
Hi Thiago, Yes, that would be interesting for sure! I have a tutorial for the aiCurvatureShader as well, but it uses metal instead of rust. Check it out! ruclips.net/video/YE28mwztCdU/видео.html
Thanks, this, aswell as your other videos were very useful. I was wondering if there's a way to use the aiAmbientOcclusion and the aiCurvature nodes at the same time to drive a shader.
Hi Lucas, I'm not sure if you saw this... but I made a tutorial for based on your request! Thank you for your suggestion. :) ruclips.net/video/NyhTLL2hvyk/видео.html
Hi your videos are very helpful and awesome too. I have humble request if you can make video tutorial on how to clay render in maya Arnold render with wireframe. thanks for sharing knowledge :)
Hi Paradise, thank you for your comment! I think I may have an tutorial similar to what you are asking for. Something like this? ruclips.net/video/6kzQWrxiGFo/видео.html (it's a tutorial on using preset Arnold shaders, and also how to composite wireframe). Let me know if this helps! Otherwise, I'll definitely add your request to my list. :)
¿Me puedes ayudar, POR FAVOR? Te lo agradecería inmensamente. Muchísimas gracias.
I really appreciate your videos. Maybe because the voice is a feminine one (lol). Anyway, really good videos. I use C4D, nonetheless I can still easily understand how to use Arnold. Helping a lot.
You are such a gifted teacher.
You are too kind! Thank you!!

If I put ambient occlusion on the mix there is no difference in render.
I don't know why. Checked in different scenes etc.
Did you also at the aiRange node? That will help with the contrast
