Also India basically let us rule them with 3 guys and a bike so you asked for that.

Notwithstanding your point is still valid, racism has basically existed since the dawn of man, I think it would be inaccurate to call the rivalry between Carthage and Rome racist.

i actually WOULD call racism a modern invention. the thing that’s that old is xenophobia and they are different. in modernity, there’s a kinship between racists different languages and cultures. in antiquity, most anyone whose language and culture differed from yours would be an enemy.
ex - france and england. today, french and english racists want the same things for their respective nations. they’re both rabidly anti immigration, targeted at foreigners of color. they like each other a lot more than foreigners. 500 years ago they were killing each other over petty squabbles just because they hated each others cultures and wanted each others lands. it was xenophobia til it wasn’t.
in nations who didn’t get colonized by britain, it’s often *still* xenophobia instead of racism. a japanese hyperconservative will usually see a korean as equal to a sudanese and equal to a german - and they’re all far lesser than japanese people in their eyes.
OH and rome/carthage? xenophobic conflict. race is modern.

I am sorry you felt that way, but the problem is when the britishers left india. They didn't just leave India. They made sure ppl in their favor came into power, and those politicians made sure to white wash all the atrocities that happened. Even small things like, we read in our school books that britishers did wrong but also some good like, they laid railways, but they missed the point that railways are not for ppl, but to tranport goods from the heart of india to coat and then those are shipped to Britain.
When the issues can not be white washed, they completely change the narrative like the great famine of bengal. You know ur ancestors are reason for indians having diabatic issues in this generation because of all the man made famines during that century.
The thing is, we were taught glory of britishers as well, but there is no single point that would make us ok, like some good might have happened, nothing good came of it. Kid of this generation with all the information online, we are learning how bad stuff was back then how we were white wahsed by our own ppl, so it may be ancient for u guys. It's brand information for us.
So yes, you will have to wait some more time for us to forget that stuff as this is a brand new generation that raise their voice and stood up for ourselves.
