Jim Cook was just the coolest character in the series. He a mysterious eye, used his belt as a wip, carried a frigging crocodile on his back, a cool accent, and was a super nice dude who was willing to rusk it all to help a friend
A insect fossil fusion would be cool, have a mosquito in amber to reference jurassic park, a fish/aqua/sea serpent fossil based on a Coelacanth or something would be interesting too.
I really hope they give us the rest of Jim's cards eventually. What they have rn is genuinely good there just isn't enough of it. Give us his field spell and let it treat fossil fusion as a quick play for interruption.
Yu-Gi-Oh didn't have a maximum deck size until the start of the 5Ds era, so in theory Jim could have had a fusion deck stacked with one fusion monster of each tier for each type that existed at the time.
About the missing fusion. It would probably be a level 6, with 3000 atk and 0 def. It will rewuire 1 level 5/6 monster in your opponent's gy and will deal piecing damage. Given the effect of the other middle fusions, it will probably banish from gy to pop any 1 face-up (or face-down) card on field. Finally, given that each evolution keep the effect the lowest level has, and the effect it adds is upgraded in the final evolution, i think the missing effect would be something like: Before damage calculation, if this card attacks a defence position monster: you can switch the current ATK and Def of that opponent monster, untill the end of thay damage step.
I did something similar! Except I changed that pop effect to a search, adding Fossil Fusion or any card that mentions it from grave or deck to hand, and the battle effect would've changed the attack target's defense to 0 during damage. And I added on an effect that banishes an opp's monster face down if it destroys that monster in battle.
One of my favorite archetypes by far. As a kid, I loved how creative they were with their designs and effects and wanted them to be real cards. Seeing them win the poll was one of the best moments I’ve had with this franchise.
With the release of the Earthbound Servants, have you considered talking about the cards used by Sergey in Arc V? It’s an archetype fans have waited years to be made and they didn’t disappoint especially with their signature Harmonic Synchro Fusion. Speaking of, Jack vs Sergey would be a great duel to analyse as well.
Surprisingly, Sacred Defense Barrier exists as a playable card in Duel Links. When Sam mentioned it, I swore I saw the card’s name somewhere so I went into Duel Links to check and sure enough, the card is dropped by Trey in Zexal world
I was wondering about this video. On the Supreme King duel analysis video, you plugged the Evil Heroes and Volcanics and I thought: what about the Fossils? Here we go Thanks Sam! Duel Analysis Suggestions: Kaiba vs Sigfried Syrus vs Zane Jack, Leo and Luna vs Aporia Yuma vs Nash Sora vs Shay

I like Skull Convoy, as "Convoy" is the name of Optimus Prime in Japan. So it sounds like you are summoning a Optimus Prime that has a vehicle mode made of bones. Also Convoy is GREAT at doing a ton of damage really quickly. With just a single other monster it can cleanly win a game. Not to mention that its attack decreasing effect is very irritating for an opponent, and a fair few times I have had people try to target it to get rid of it, only for Fossil Fusion to protect it and they are forced to target their own cards. This is a big advantage on Master Duel, where this protection is not easily available for people to read, and they generally won't go back into the grave to take a look at the spell during a game with a time limit on it.
Fossils have always had a special place in my heart as a kid i always wanted to be a paleontologist but unfortunately that dream never happened i really hope they finish this archtype
Fossils are probably one of my favorite archetypes. Fusing from the GY using your opponents GY is so cool. Wonder if they'll make a Synchro deck that follows that trend. Fossil Dragon Skullgiar: Attack 3000/0 1 Rock monster in your GY + 1 Level 5 or 6 monster Must first be Special Summoned with "Fossil Fusion". Before damage calculation if this card battles an opponents monster: You can switch that opponent monster's position. When this card attacks a monster in defense position, inflict piercing damage. If this card is in the GY, (Quick Effect) on your opponents turn, you can banish this card, target one monster on the field banish it and Fusion Summon a "Fossil" monster using these two monsters as materials.
Man imagine a reverse Evil Hero Dark Gaia. Using Fossil Fusion instead of Super Polyermization? Or maybe a Fossil Hero? Fossil Kaiju? Fossil Blue Eyes? Oh dang, this is sounding too cool honestly.
I think we should get a new line of either Main Deck or Extra Deck Monsters for this archetype based on anciet mammals, such as a Sabertooth, Mammoth, Giant Sloths or even a Titanoboa.
Love these archetype videos. I would love to see you play a duel or two using the archetype at the end of the video or in a separate video. It would be fun to be able to see it in action and give viewers an idea of what it might look like if they want to give it a go themselves.
I think the first type of support this archetype needs is more ways to summon out the Fusions. As it stands now, Fossil Fusion is the only way to do so and you only get 3 of them. They need to release the equivalent of both “Fusion Substitution” and “Fusion Recovery” to the mix. The Recovery equivalent could return a monster banished by Fossil Fusion to the GY and then return said Fossil Fusion to the hand; the Substitution equivalent could work like Fossil Fusion except you can only us 1 monster from each player’s GY, you can’t use both from your own or both from your opponent’s! For evolution lines, I’d like to see what Cyberse Fossils would look like, but that’s just me.
Год назад+1
If Cyberse is done, it should definitely feed off of link rating Like the low level is any monster with a level, the mid stage is any link 1 through link 3 monster and the big boy is link 4+
i imagine a reason they just became fossil and dropped the era naming was due to the paleozoic archetype itself, though i don't believe either currently have any cards that would cause overlap or cause issues it's something to note.
Fossil winged beasts would logically be next in line. Winged Beasts = Birds and Birds have a very strong connection to dinosaurs and fossils. Or they could go regular Beasts and do a Mammoth themed line with potentially having a Saber Tooth Tiger as the boss of that line. I dunno And of course, sea creatures are an option as well....
Most already know this. Anime Cyber Angels were also in Tag Force for the longest time as the real Cyber Angels were not printed until late 2015 and 2016. This was only done cause Arc V Alexis was in the show. Fun Fact: in Japanese version of Tag Force 3. Blair has unusedvvoice samples of her summoning and attacking with Mystic Dragon. Despite not even Rag Forve was kind enough to even give her said monster. Although she plays Lightsworn in Tag force 3. Makes you wonder, why not just make Blair the Lightsworn user and just abandon her other terrible gimmicky decks I still stand on this take. Blairs anime cards will never be printed especially her Mystic cards
The level 6s are actually very useful as sends off of Dogmatika Punishment when you don't need to send N'Tss right away and you already have all your shadolls in rotation (if you're playing them).
11:25 i would say fossil dragon skullgidon as a name as for atk ,def, 3000, 0 .for an effect I would say that you can flip attack and defence and inflict pircing battle damage and if you banish this card add 1 rock monster from your grave to your hand but .also if you are reading this thanks for covering my favourite arch type
I hope we get another fossil fusion monsters in the future, and much easier way to summon them, by making a Future Fusion/Super Poly version of the Fossil Fusion spell Yes yes i know the point of Fossils is all about GY, but sometime its hard to summon them, for example if your opponent only plays low level monsters and Xyz/Link, you can't summon Skullgios
21? Let's see: Spellcaster, Dragon, Fiend, Fairy, Plant, Insect, Sea Serpent, Fish, Pyro, Aqua, Thunder, Zombie, Reptile, Winged Beast, Beast-warrior, Beast, Divine Beast, Illusion. Cyberse, Wyrm, Psychic (while there are 21 types remaining in the master duel format, the last 3 that i listed here would technically be illegal in the gx era as psychic first appears in 5ds, Wyrm in arc -v & cyberse in vrains)
One of my favorite decks to use from Tag Force. I'm glad they're real now. Do kinda wish the fusions got serious effect boosts however since their attack and defense are kinda average at best.
11:25 Fossil Dragon Skullgran EARTH / Rock / Fusion / Effect / Lvl 6 ATK 3000 / DEF 0 1 Rock monster + 1 Level 5 or 6 monster in your opponent's GY Must first be Special Summoned with "Fossil Fusion". If this card attacks a Defense Position monster, inflict piercing battle damage. Before damage calculation, if this card battles an opponent's Defense Position monster; you can make that monster's DEF become 0. You can banish this card from your GY; discard 1 random card from your opponent's hand. You can only use each effect of "Fossil Dragon Skullgran" once per turn.
11:24 my idea of the card is. Name: Fossil Dragon Skullgyra. The Dino whice Skullgyra is base on: a Tyrannosaurus from the Mesozoic era. Material: 1 Rock monster and a level 5 or 6 monster from your opponent GY. Effect: you need use fossil fusion to summon it. during your battle phase when this card battles a monster, you can negate the attack and destory that monster and deal your opponent half of its ATK or DEF (whice 1 is highest and your choose if its a tie) and if so changes this monster to DEF position this effect is a hard 1 per turn. when this is send to GY You can add a ”fossil fusion” or a card that list it from GY, Main Deck or Banish and this effect is a hard 1 per turn.
Fossil Dragon Skullgian Level 6 Rock/Fusion/Effect Atk 3000 Def 0 1 Rock monster + 1 Level 5 or 6 monster in your opponent GY Must be Special Summoned with "Fossil Fusion". If this card destroys an opponent monster by battle: You can inflict damage to your opponent equal to that destroyed monsters DEF. If this card attacks a Defence Position monster: inflict piercing battle damage. You can banish this card from your GY (Quick Effect): You can target one card in your opponent GY: banish it. So this is my idea for the middle Fossil Dino monster. I got the idea for its effect, because Fossil Dinos got the effects that revolves around your opponent monsters Defence. So i decided that it would be cool if it had a Flame Wingman like effect, since Fossils are also from GX like E-Heroes. Also all middle Fossil Fusions have the ability to banish themselves from GY to get rid of your opponent cards. So i decited for this monster to get rid of cards in GY, but to make this effect somewhat good i think it should be a Quick Effect. What do you think?
As someone who plays fossils, loves Jim Cook and is Australian I’m secretly hoping that TGS anime has come out with these vids in preparation for the announcement of fossil support
(MESOZOIC) FOSSIL DRAGON SKULLGRIAS EARTH/Lv 6/2800 ATK/0 DEF Rock/Fusion/Effect 1 Rock Monster + 1 Level 5 or 6 monster in your opponent's GY Must be Special Summoned with "Fossil Fusion". If this card battles a Defense Position Monster, you can swap that monster's ATK and DEF until the end of the Damage Step, also this card inflicts piercing battle damage. You can banish this card from your GY; send 1 Rock-type monster from your Deck or Extra Deck to the GY. You can only use this effect of "Fossil Dragon Skullgrias" once per turn.
I play fossils in master duel, it's my favorite deck. Mixed with adamancipator and kaiju this three archetypes have a ridiculously good sinergy: Adamancipator is a good deck on its own, capable to easily put one or two boss monster on your field and a lot of rock type monsters in your graveyard for fossil fusion as long there are high level monsters in the opponent graveyard; which can be easily arranged by kaijus, who can also being used as fossil fusion material if you are desperate. Also the different attributes of the kaijus can activate the effects of adamancipator synchro monsters and adamancipator dragite can return kaijus back to your hand ready to be used again
It’s always funny how whenever TGS makes an archetype video, the said archetype gets new support so I won’t be surprised if this archetype gets new support thanks to this video
"Fossil Dragon - Skelligon" *Known in the Japanese as "Mesozoic Fossil Dragon Skelligon"* Attribute - Earth LVL - 6 1 Rock Type Monster + 1 Level 5 or 6 Monster in your opponents GY. Must first be Special Summoned with "Fossil Fusion" . Any Monster that declares an attack with this card lose ATK equal to their DEF. You can banish this card from your GY, add 1 card that lists "Fossil Fusion"" from your GY to your Deck then shuffle. You can only use the effect of "Fossil Dragon Skelligon" once per turn. ATK - 2800 DEF - 0
This is my OC idea for the middle Fossil Dragon and it's the same one I did on the Duel Analysis video (Supreme King Jaden vs Jim and Axel): Fossil Dragon Skullgoon 3000/0 Effect: - When this card attacks a monster(s), it gains 300 ATK points and also deals piercing damage to the opponent. - While this card is in the GY, banish it and select one face-up card on the field, negate its effect. If "Fossil Fusion" is in the GY, uses it effect twice. You can only use this card's effect once per turn.
If I were to name and give the middle evo of Skullgar an effect (funny how we're saying it evolves like a pokemon, makes you think), here's how I would make it. Fossil Dragon Skullgia LVL 6 Rock/Fusion/Effect 1 Rock monster + 1 Level 5 or 6 monster in your opponent's GY Must first be Special Summoned with "Fossil Fusion". This monster inflicts piercing battle damage. If this monster attacks a Defense Position monster, once per battle, (Quick Effect): you can, during damage calculation, change the DEF of the monster this card attacks to 0. If this Fusion Summoned card battles and destroys an opponent's monster, you can banish that opponent's monster face-down. You can banish this card from your GY, then add any card that is or mentions "Fossil Fusion" from your Deck or GY to your hand. You can only use this effect of "Fossil Dragon Skullgia" once per turn. ATK/3000 DEF/0 This is my fan-built custom card for the middle evo. I think I did pretty good, and made it a nice inbetween for Skullgar and Skullgios. Just be glad I didn't add the effect that it could attack all opponent's monsters once each. That'd be too busted for a middle evo. lol Anyone like it?
Im still waiting for Pterosaur Fossil fusion and some more main deck monsters and a excavation cards could be cool. Maybe even a Specimen Inspection card monsters (yes, pterosaur was mentioned, but maybe even a archfiend and that reptile/lizard looking fossil monster). One of my favorite archetypes.
I once came up with an idea for a fusion based fish deck based off various prehistoric fish from before the dinosaurs. Mainly the placoderms from the Devonian with a few Carboniferous and Permian fish thrown in. You’d have the smaller prey animals as main deck monsters a few lobbed finned fish as link monsters and the various predators like Helicaprion and and Dunkleostious as the fusion monsters. The play style would be about having big monsters with piercing battle damage, bypassing battle protection and creating crush tokens. The crush token would be created on the opponents side of the field after the monster is destroyed. Said token has 0 atk and 2000 def and is level 3. Also it can’t be tributed or used for an extra deck monster of any kind. Essentially the opponent is stuck with it. The token itself references how these predators are regurgitating the indigestible bits.
I play these guys in duel links and I gotta say they are fantastic as a counter to Exoidia decks that put the pieces in the grave to get them back later
If you had to revamp this archetype, you could probably cut down on the number of monsters and simplify it so that similar monster types would be combined together into a single category; Beasts and Beast-Warriors would be in the same category, Rock and Machine would be in another, while Reptiles, Dragons, Wyrms, and even Sea-Serpents would be in another category, and so on. Meanwhile some monsters types that wouldn't quite fit in the paleonotology theme would be excluded, like Zombies, Fiends, Fairies and Psychics. Then you'd need to have every monster in the archetype be Rock type, have 3 sets of monsters correponding to each of the type categories with one set being Normal/Effect, the 2nd being the Fusions that work with Fossil Fusion or some other modernized card variant, and the 3rd set being a grab-bag of Link, XYZ, and/or Synchro Monsters that can use cards in both player's graveyards as summoning materials. Keep the Cenozoic, Mesozoic, and Paleozoic theme going with the 3 sets, have the designs be callbacks to the history of monster card design in Yugioh, and you're pretty much golden as far as a revamped Fossil archetype is concerned.
I'll take a shot at making the missing Fossil Dragon card. Fossil Dragon Skullgoa ATK 3000 / DEF 0 1 Rock Monster + 1 Level 5 or 6 Monster Must first be Special Summoned with "Fossil Fusion". If this card attacks a Defense Position monster, inflict piercing battle damage. If this fusion summoned card battles an opponent's monster, any battle damage it inflicts to your opponent is doubled. You can banish this card from your GY, add 1 "Fossil Fusion" or "Time Stream" that is banished or in your GY to your hand. You can only use this effect of "Fossil Dragon Skullgoa" once per turn.
Really fun archetype. And it seem to be viable as a small package in Fusion focus strategies as an on demand removal if there is enough way to send the Fusions to the GY. I mean N'Tiss was very viable in those deck for a reason.
I remember in the sub, during Jims duel against Kenzan, he said that long ago, before people know about dinosaurs, they would assume dino bones as dragons. That might be the reason behind Skulldios and Skullgar name
I think the TCG names dropped the era from their names solely because of "Paleozoic" monsters. But imagine if an OCG card gave support to the eras (and just the era, not "[era] fossil". It would either require the fossil monsters or the entire paleozoic archetype to be retranslated more accurately.
For the Fossil Dragon here's my idea: Fossil Dragon Skullichto (based on the ichthyosaurs, which were an apex predator and "sea dragon" of the Mesozoic era). Atk: 3000 (makes sense as a midpoint between the two monsters) Def: 0 Effect: If this card attacks a Defense Position Monster, inflict piercing battle damage. If this card battles an opponent's Monster, before Damage Calculation halve that Monster's ATK and DEF points. During your Main Phase 1 You can banish this card from your Graveyard, during your Battle Phase your opponent cannot activate any Spells, Traps, or Monster Effects.
If I were to design the middle fossil dragon: Fossil dragon skullgene 3000/0 *Standard fossil effect here* During battle, discard one card: reduce one monster’s ATK/def by 500(?). If this card battles a defense position monster, inflict piercing damage. I felt it needed a cost for the reduction, but that may just add more gas to this deck and set it up for another play next turn. Also, makes it strong enough to take down thing skullgar can’t while having a slightly less damaging effect than skullgios.
When I used a Fossil deck, a big problem I hit was Links. Without Time Stream, it was difficult to make fusions higher than the small ones. I really hope if they do another wave of Fusions, they let you use, say, Link 1, Link 2, and Link 3+ as their material.
Honestly; I have a few fan ideas about fossil fusion monsters….Fossil Amber(Pyro), Fossil Fish(obvious), Fossil Plant, Fossil Insect, sorry for geeking out about this; I can just see several ways they can expand on the fusions.
I got a few good idea for some fossil fusion monsters Fossil lord Magician (which is base on Dark Magician) Fossil Cobra Fossil Boxer (and he use's dinosaur skulls as boxing gloves) Fossil Loader (which is based on the power loader from the aliens movie)
Fossil Dragon Skullgia. ATK 3000 DEF 0. Fused with a Rock monster and a Level 6 monster. If it attacks a monster in DEF inflict piercing battle damage. You can then banish one card and it can make a second attack.
Uluru is the traditional aboriginal name for Ayres rock, which is a sacred site to the aboriginal Australian people, and a major landmark in Australia, where the character of Jim crocodile Cooke is from
For the middle one of the one that we are missing, I can't come up with a good name but it would have to be skullg something and its effect could be that during the battle phase you could chose to swap the attack and defense of the monster it's battling
for the level 6 dragon i would go with is skullger with 3000 atk and 0 def, needing a rock and a level 5 or 6 monster in the opponent's gy, needing fossil fusion for it's fusion summon and besides the piercing effect it could change the attack targeting monster' battle position without apply that flip effect it may have.
Specifically, the reason that "Dragon" is used here is because "Ryu" in JP can be either Dinosaur or Dragon. This is also seen among the Zoan Devil Fruit users of the "Ryu-Ryu no Mi, Model:" line in the anime One Piece. The main example would be X-Drake who has the "Ryu-Ryu no Mi, Model: Allosaurus".
@@christopherb501 Possibly. It'd be funny in my opinion if only for those two Archetypes they swapped them in English for the laughs of the word meaning the same thing.

Don't, TGS. Things like that happen. Thanks for the video.
Isn't Gaia Plate the Earth Giant also part of Jim's Deck he used it against supreme King Jaden?

Despite not even Rag Forve was kind enough to even give her said monster. Although she plays Lightsworn in Tag force 3. Makes you wonder, why not just make Blair the Lightsworn user and just abandon her other terrible gimmicky decks
I still stand on this take. Blairs anime cards will never be printed especially her Mystic cards
The level 6s are actually very useful as sends off of Dogmatika Punishment when you don't need to send N'Tss right away and you already have all your shadolls in rotation (if you're playing them).
10:48 Yes, "Transcendosaur" tell us all the OCG's "ryu" types, also having Dinos evolve into Dragons.
14:28 Technically if you count Duel Links, Sacred Defense Barrier does has been made.
I hope we get another fossil fusion monsters in the future, and much easier way to summon them, by making a Future Fusion/Super Poly version of the Fossil Fusion spell
Yes yes i know the point of Fossils is all about GY, but sometime its hard to summon them, for example if your opponent only plays low level monsters and Xyz/Link, you can't summon Skullgios
11:25 Fossil Dragon Skullgran
EARTH / Rock / Fusion / Effect / Lvl 6
ATK 3000 / DEF 0
1 Rock monster + 1 Level 5 or 6 monster in your opponent's GY
Must first be Special Summoned with "Fossil Fusion".
Fossil Dragon Skullgian
Level 6 Rock/Fusion/Effect
Atk 3000 Def 0
1 Rock monster + 1 Level 5 or 6 monster in your opponent GY
Must be Special Summoned with "Fossil Fusion".
If the Fossil Dragon line had a mid form, I'd think an apt name for it would be Fossil Dragon Skullgan
(MESOZOIC) FOSSIL DRAGON SKULLGRIAS
EARTH/Lv 6/2800 ATK/0 DEF
Rock/Fusion/Effect
1 Rock Monster + 1 Level 5 or 6 monster in your opponent's GY
Must be Special Summoned with "Fossil Fusion".
Always in the mood for a great Archetype video. I love your content TGS.
I play fossils in master duel, it's my favorite deck. Mixed with adamancipator and kaiju this three archetypes have a ridiculously good sinergy:
Adamancipator is a good deck on its own, capable to easily put one or two boss monster on your field and a lot of rock type monsters in your graveyard for fossil fusion as long there are high level monsters in the opponent graveyard; which can be easily arranged by kaijus, who can also being used as fossil fusion material if you are desperate. Also the different attributes of the kaijus can activate the effects of adamancipator synchro monsters and adamancipator dragite can return kaijus back to your hand ready to be used again
It's good timing that this video pops up, as I've started using a fossil deck on Duel Links
[The archeological implications of these cards may shape the very Duel Kingdom]
One of my favorite archetypes in yugioh, ill play it myself. I love paleontology, i love jim, i love the mechanic of the deck and their Designs
It’s always funny how whenever TGS makes an archetype video, the said archetype gets new support so I won’t be surprised if this archetype gets new support thanks to this video
"Fossil Dragon - Skelligon" *Known in the Japanese as "Mesozoic Fossil Dragon Skelligon"*
Attribute - Earth
LVL - 6
1 Rock Type Monster + 1 Level 5 or 6 Monster in your opponents GY.
Instead of add time stream, put instead and 1card that list Fusion Fusion in the text
idk if this will be seen but for a archetype video it would be cool to see the utopia archetype get a video.
I'd love to see more support for this deck focused around working with monsters that don't have levels
James I love him and his deck really suits him. Bastion and him can get along quite well
This is my OC idea for the middle Fossil Dragon and it's the same one I did on the Duel Analysis video (Supreme King Jaden vs Jim and Axel):
Fossil Dragon Skullgoon
3000/0
Effect:
- When this card attacks a monster(s), it gains 300 ATK points and also deals piercing damage to the opponent.
- While this card is in the GY, banish it and select one face-up card on the field, negate its effect. If "Fossil Fusion" is in the GY, uses it effect twice. You can only use this card's effect once per turn.
This archetype deserves so much more support. They could be much stronger in the modern meta if they had stronger support.
If I were to name and give the middle evo of Skullgar an effect (funny how we're saying it evolves like a pokemon, makes you think), here's how I would make it.
Fossil Dragon Skullgia
LVL 6
Rock/Fusion/Effect
1 Rock monster + 1 Level 5 or 6 monster in your opponent's GY
Must first be Special Summoned with "Fossil Fusion".
ATK/3000 DEF/0
This is my fan-built custom card for the middle evo.
I know from the Vods channel that Sam is a big fan of one of the monsters in this archetype that is rarely played with the archetype.
SHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESH!
Good job on explaining the upgrade mechanic and the fossil time periods,it made my head blow smoke out of my ears XD
7:06 I learning more from a yugioh video than my science class💀
I personally would love to see a "military archetype". You know, tanks artillery and stuff.
I play these guys in duel links and I gotta say they are fantastic as a counter to Exoidia decks that put the pieces in the grave to get them back later
I was today years old when I realized his duel disk is shaped like a boomerang.
Fossil Dragon Skullgoa
ATK 3000 / DEF 0
1 Rock Monster + 1 Level 5 or 6 Monster
Must first be Special Summoned with "Fossil Fusion".
11:19 i think it may be called Fossil Dragon Skullvern
taking the second half of Wyvern
or it could also be called Fossil Dragon Skullraptor.
Really fun archetype. And it seem to be viable as a small package in Fusion focus strategies as an on demand removal if there is enough way to send the Fusions to the GY. I mean N'Tiss was very viable in those deck for a reason.
Fossil fusion monster proposal, winged beasts. Pterodactyl and all of them are perfect.
There is literally No reason not to love him hes australian and wiels a bloody crodocidle on his back
Maybe the Dragon 6 is "Skullgrand"?
4:52 This wasn’t an issue before the Synchro Era cause the Extra Deck didn’t have limits yet.
11:30 I think I’d name it Kevin. He does his best.
I’ve been waiting for a fossil video from you for a very long time 😭 thank you!
For the Fossil Dragon here's my idea:
Fossil Dragon Skullichto (based on the ichthyosaurs, which were an apex predator and "sea dragon" of the Mesozoic era).
Atk: 3000 (makes sense as a midpoint between the two monsters) Def: 0
Effect: If this card attacks a Defense Position Monster, inflict piercing battle damage. If this card battles an opponent's Monster, before Damage Calculation halve that Monster's ATK and DEF points. During your Main Phase 1 You can banish this card from your Graveyard, during your Battle Phase your opponent cannot activate any Spells, Traps, or Monster Effects.
If I were to design the middle fossil dragon:
Fossil dragon skullgene
3000/0
*Standard fossil effect here*
During battle, discard one card: reduce one monster’s ATK/def by 500(?).
I immediately noticed the Killua shirt, best choice btw
When I used a Fossil deck, a big problem I hit was Links. Without Time Stream, it was difficult to make fusions higher than the small ones.
I really hope if they do another wave of Fusions, they let you use, say, Link 1, Link 2, and Link 3+ as their material.
Kindly asking for a video of the galaxy-eyes/photon archetype
*Y E S.* my favourite archetype!
I seriously hate Dyna. It’s just a monster floodgate
Would definitely love more true Archetype support. I love playing fossils.
Honestly; I have a few fan ideas about fossil fusion monsters….Fossil Amber(Pyro), Fossil Fish(obvious), Fossil Plant, Fossil Insect, sorry for geeking out about this; I can just see several ways they can expand on the fusions.
Ember. My bad on the spelling.
These monsters are really cool snd I was so hyped to learn you can get these in the real world now
Battle drones next please
I got a few good idea for some fossil fusion monsters
Fossil lord Magician (which is base on Dark Magician)
Fossil Cobra
Fossil Boxer (and he use's dinosaur skulls as boxing gloves)
Fossil Loader (which is based on the power loader from the aliens movie)
13:41 its makes you wonder what giant soldier of stone story is.
You should make a “was Yami Bakura about Yugi (in the Zorc arc)” video please 🙏
I'm glad you finally said the word "Pachycephalo" right.
Fossil Dragon Skullgia. ATK 3000 DEF 0. Fused with a Rock monster and a Level 6 monster. If it attacks a monster in DEF inflict piercing battle damage. You can then banish one card and it can make a second attack.
Love this archetype my fav duelist from GX
3:45 what song did you use in the background for the fossil fusion?! Sounds super dope!!
Uluru is the traditional aboriginal name for Ayres rock, which is a sacred site to the aboriginal Australian people, and a major landmark in Australia, where the character of Jim crocodile Cooke is from
I love using the Fossil archetype in Duel Links and using Skullgious to win the duel.
Dyna Pachycephalo in a Tier 0 format: in a world full of HEROS and PYRO, sometimes what the world needs is a MONSTER
please make a updated dark magician archetype video
Jim was ahead of his time. " Yeah go ahead combo off"
For the middle one of the one that we are missing, I can't come up with a good name but it would have to be skullg something and its effect could be that during the battle phase you could chose to swap the attack and defense of the monster it's battling
for the level 6 dragon i would go with is skullger with 3000 atk and 0 def, needing a rock and a level 5 or 6 monster in the opponent's gy, needing fossil fusion for it's fusion summon and besides the piercing effect it could change the attack targeting monster' battle position without apply that flip effect it may have.
I would also add an effect that you can banish it from the graveyard to destroy one set card the opponent controls.
So what; would the hypothetical Dragon-Type line still say "Fossil Dragon"?
@@christopherb501 Possibly. It'd be funny in my opinion if only for those two Archetypes they swapped them in English for the laughs of the word meaning the same thing.
Id love to see them expand this archetype. It looks like it has so much potential.
