K****'s Deck Order for the Battle City Duel - i.imgur.com/px7NoiT.png Y***'s Deck Order for the Battle City Duel - i.imgur.com/JlzBqOl.png For the Was K** about to Defeat Y**, I figured this could be helpful. This was as close as I could get the absolute correct order of the cards they draw based on card positioning in their hands (since the way they hold and add cards to their hands can change from scene to scene). I also tried my best to order cards for the effect of final attack orders that would get sent to the grave, but obviously that's pure speculation. K*** had exactly 40 cards in his deck and Y*** had a bit more ambiguous amount so it could be anywhere from ~40 - ~52 cards. These were the cards that Y*** had used in his all of his finals matches so that's what I used for his deck. For K***, I had to use his duel 4 way duel, him vs Y***, and him vs Joey. There were a couple of extra cards so they're side deck, along with the rest of the cards he used in Battle City as a whole. But the cards I chose to keep in vs cut were based on his strategy/theme for his deck. Against Ishizu it was deck destruction and in this duel it was an advantage strategy (summoning as many monsters as possible for Obelisk through fusion summons and such). In the Yugioh Wiki for the duel, it said that there was an animation error after the Gods destroyed each other and Kaiba was holding 1 card too many, but I from rewatching the episodes a few times, the order I have seems to math out just fine. Also, more speculation for the last cards for Final Attack Orders in each of their decks; K****'s last card was probably shrink since it could help with his final push strategy if Y** was able to summon a huge beatstick and Y***'s last card was probably a removal spell like Soul Taker (not quite sure since it's anime effect is like soul exchange and enemy controller, so it makes it kinda confusing) but most other things don't seem to help with Y***'s counter strategy. If the links don't work, I can try sending them to you somewhere else if you need. But if this was Yuya vs Kaito or somthing like that, then I hope this could be useful for the video later down the road.

This is definitely my favorite archetype of cards originally I used to love blue eyes cards but sky strikers is just as cool plus has some kickass lore that I'd watch a moive or show about it
Seeing you have Violet on the video when you talk about Raye and Roze I can't unsee Raye as a mix of Major Milize from 86 and Violet Evergarden from her respective anime series. Raye took up arms to fight against an invading force to put an end to the bloodshed and then after awhile she encounters Roze who took up arms for the similar if not the same reasons she did whereas in Roze's case, it was so that the war her country started can finally be put to an end and I can guess she isn't all too thrilled about her people throwing away their lives to invade even though there might be a reason for it. Raye would have the appearance and voice resembling Lena but her skin tone, eyes, and hair color are like that of Violet's while Roze would have the opposite traits where she would have the appearance and voice resembling that of Violet's but with silver hair and crimson eyes. Wait is it just me or does Sky Striker Ace - Zeke's design look a lot like Face Nemesis from Xenoblade Chronicles 1 and also looks like the MSN-02 Zeong piloted by Char Aznable? So basically the Imperial faction after reverse engineering the Sky Striker technology and created their own, through Imperial science they moved away from suit switching to raw power and created the Strategic Strikers. This is actually like what Stain did with Iron Monger. I actually don't know why Raye is a dark attribute while Roze is a light attribute but I read from a comment where Raye could be a dark attribute because she chose to fight in the war of her own volition so that the people she cared for can smile again and I am guessing Raye is a Dark Attribute because she is a girl who threw away her innocence and was willing to dirty her hands so that those she care for can smile again. Roze on the other hand is light attribute while she is a soldier despite her age from the invading country. It's possible she is a girl who never really chose to become a soldier nor did she sign up for the program in the first place. Don't know her circumstances but there is a chance she was enlisted unwillingly or as the saying goes, her country is telling the story of this war differently and thus she has no real clue to what her country is really doing.
Great Lore! And I feel that the archetype had some inspirations with Zoids New Century Liger Zero Forms and The VividRed Operation Anime with a little Centurions Cartoon Suit Change concepts. Hopefully they would release a Final Mode for Raye.
Funny thing you mention a missing 001…cuz my own hypothesis on why this wasn’t used is because it was meant to condense properties of what would become the other suits all into one…but the initial project failed due to risks that make what future suits have seem especially tame. But against the new enemy facing both Raye and Roze…I suspect that, for one reason or another, Roze would lend Raye her sword as a means of unlocking 001 when no other option is available…and this is my take on what that suit could be (yeah…unofficial custom card) Sky Striker Ace - Kinsei Link: 2 (T, B) LIGHT 2 monsters, including a “Sky Striker Ace” monster Must be Link Summoned. You can only Special Summon “Sky Striker Ace - Kinsei” once per turn. If this card is Link Summoned: You can target 1 face-up card your opponent controls; negate that target’s effects (if any), and if that target is a monster, that monster loses 500 ATK for each “Sky Striker” Spell in your GY with different names. Once per turn: You can return 1 “Sky Striker Ace” Link Monster from your GY to the Extra Deck; this card gains 1000 ATK. ATK: 1500
I hope we get a retrain of Roze where she’s on the good side since Raye saves her and she probably redeem herself (Also I want to here no more comments about good and evil in war or something like that we can have a moral discussion about that in somewhere else)
@@failure4452 I mean the side Raye is on only fighting the others to stop the others from conquering so there is some good it’s not just complete evil cause they have no other option

that said i have no idea for the hate for this arctype considering all the other BS in mordern day YGO meta where It's basically mostly dependent on a coin toss and if you're going second it all fully dependent on the negation that's in your opening hand, this arc type is the closest thing to actual old school YGO with back and forth between players rather then a go first masturbation bukake party that prevents your opponent from playing that *can* also just run your opponent over the next turn if they can't answer your board
SS literally no quick negation other then anchor, all destruction can be interupted unless you use multirole first, is a tool box control arctype that the cards can't do anything but prevent you from dying in your opponents turn, has a horrible casting requirement that prevents being aggressive in arctype, have hard once per turn and summoning restriction on the monsters, and all the cards that facilitate the arctype to go online is limited/semi limited
unless the person is playing some kind of D tier deck like U.A. they really can't complain about SS
Aleister and Raye are universally hated because they have been playable for more than 5 years. People are really bored to play the matchup in 2022. Also SS is the deck with the most YCS tops in the entire game and when a deck is almost tier 0 hate is gonna come
@@trevizee806 it's tier 2 nowadays though, lots of hits.
I feel like they can make a series that just talks about the stories behind the different archetypes cards and monster in the Yu-Gi-Oh

Without the Meta hate, this is one of the coolest archetypes. The power fantasy of one little girl chaning into different battlesuits is just so cool. Also, Aether Kayle from League totally looks like them
as much as I hate dueling against it, it is an awesome archetype
Sorry for sounding ignorant but was this archetype really hated?
@@nintendolife25 Imo they're not that hated, cuz this deck has high skill ceiling with a variety of ways to play so for people who duel against Sky Striker player, and if that player has a good amount of knowledge about other cards, it's really hard getting an advantage against them since they can banish, negate, lock or even yoinking your boss monster if the match is long enough and when your LP is at around 5200 or lower they can potentially link summon all the way into Accesscode Talker for game
Got to duel against them twice and I enjoyed it a lot (feel bad for the second guy tho since I banish his raye as I otk him to the shadow realm) Might consider building a Sky Striker deck after I got my pure lyrilusc deck done
@@NateVG I quite like finding sky striker players. The game goes from a unga bunga go first 99% win, to actually needing to use your brain to play around the negates they have.
As a bonus, they are one of the only players that actually read card effects
@@immakarma2516 I think some of them didn't read though, the first duel I had with a sky striker I have my xyz boss monster that can't be destroy by effect thanks to the monster materials I overlayed, they legit gave it a good read, then co-link all the way to accesscode talker and try to pop my monster, wasting one of their link monsters in the process and actually lost from doing that, since I managed to make a comeback next turn with an omni negate ready so they just scoop lol
I was using Bahamut Shark and Kragen btw
I've always considered using this archetype, the art was always appealing to me and the concept was really cool to me as well, using just one monster to get victory.
I’ve been playing Strikers for like 3 years and this is all literally brand new information to me 😆
Right after you make this video, Konami had the nerve to make another card right after this video

Omg nice
It's actually a way more loreheavy archetype than it first seems, I quite like it.
It would be nice if you could do the tri-brigade archetype since it seems like another one with great lore that goes under the radar.
I’m loving the lore TGS comes up with for the cards
Idk if he comes up with them but I do love the series
I think it is official lore somewhere
Same. Also... Fjord called and wants to cancel his account with you
Wait I thought this was actually true
He doesn't come up with them. All of the archetypes now have their own stories, and you have to piece them together
Wow this sounds like a really cool lore! Though I am thinking Mobile Suit Gundam when I am hearing this lore, especially when mech suits are involved but still I was still interested in this lore when it dropped and it sounds just as interesting as I thought it would. Awesome video TGS!
I’m getting more guilty crown vibes.
Im getting an infinite stratos vibe if the infinite stratos world never obtained world peace when it did and the IS system was developed during a time of war

True they are so fun to play. They are about as close as the ultra fast link otk helscape of modern Yu-Gi-Oh gets to old school (not counting floodgate rogue archetypes since they really feel quite different)
Sky Striker most likely also a reference to Konami's Busou Shinki, when Sky Striker came out, a lot of Busou Shinki players/fans went wild

Sweet. The Archetype/Deck that I first built in Master Duel and what got me back into YGO. Nice work on the video!
I always find it amazing how Yugioh would somehow tie a monster’s effect with its lore. Thank you you so much for covering the Sky Striker Archetype and its reference to the aircraft, TGS!

I love this series, truly favorite Yugioh channel of them all, im crossing my fingers for the Myutant archtype video to come out soon
Thanks for another awesome video! The Sky Striker archetype might be thought to fight against, but their designs and lore are amazing! I had no idea that all of the Link Cards of this series were just different forms of Raye and Rose and thought that each forms were different girls. I am curious where exactly this lore was located either in the Master Guide books or in the Solo Mode of Master Duel, but regardless, it was fun learning more about them! Keep up the amazing work and I’m looking forward to the next one! 🥰😎❤️
K****'s Deck Order for the Battle City Duel - i.imgur.com/px7NoiT.png
Y***'s Deck Order for the Battle City Duel - i.imgur.com/JlzBqOl.png
For the Was K** about to Defeat Y**, I figured this could be helpful.
Fun fact: There's actually a manga called "Yu-Gi-Oh! OCG Stories" that expands a bit on the Sky Striker Archetype's lore in the first arc
Good lore. Nice editing. Audibly appealing narration. 10/10 video
Glad you enjoyed it!

I swear, when Konami put their back into it, they produce some of the best lore in fiction out there !
I swear if I didn't knew this was a Yu-Gi-Oh! archtype when TGSAnime was explaining the lore, I would of thought this was some kind of modern Evangeline reboot or something. Some of these archtypes sound too good to come from a card game like Yu-Gi-Oh.
Always loved the archetype and the story behind it. I’m hungry for more lore, as where it is at now, it is kind of a cliffhanger ending. Can’t wait for more support to come out!

Striker best deck! Shoutout GGYGO for anybody looking for striker tips or general digestible yugioh meta knowledge!
Sky Strikers are one the best match ups for the OP Swordsouls. For that reason alone you should make this deck in Master Duel.

The numbering wit the suits, the 002, 003, 004. I'm not sure if anyone remembers, but there was a fun anime many many years ago called "Cyborg 009" and their names/codenames were 001, 002, 003 and so on. Anyone else remember that show?
Man I really love this kind of video. Can't wait for the prank-kids and ojama lore
This is definitely my favorite archetype of cards originally I used to love blue eyes cards but sky strikers is just as cool plus has some kickass lore that I'd watch a moive or show about it
Tbh I know every card of the archetype but I just love the little lore that you give at the start of the video

The deck was broken as hell when it was at full power . It’s still good but not as strong with all the hits it got
@@PapaMcfly1
I figured. I played Lightsworn for years even after it got hit several times. I'm a deck enthusiast.
Raye having four power-ups each linked to an element and the background battlefield seeming VR based reminds me of Corrector Yui
That's another example of a series of card lore that needs to become it's own show
Great Lore! And I feel that the archetype had some inspirations with Zoids New Century Liger Zero Forms and The VividRed Operation Anime with a little Centurions Cartoon Suit Change concepts. Hopefully they would release a Final Mode for Raye.
Called it! One of my favorite archetypes and the deck I main in Master Duel regardless of my w/l ratio.
Raidraptors I think would be an interesting archetype to dive into :)
Funny thing you mention a missing 001…cuz my own hypothesis on why this wasn’t used is because it was meant to condense properties of what would become the other suits all into one…but the initial project failed due to risks that make what future suits have seem especially tame. But against the new enemy facing both Raye and Roze…I suspect that, for one reason or another, Roze would lend Raye her sword as a means of unlocking 001 when no other option is available…and this is my take on what that suit could be (yeah…unofficial custom card)
Sky Striker Ace - Kinsei
Link: 2 (T, B) LIGHT
2 monsters, including a “Sky Striker Ace” monster
Must be Link Summoned.
ATK: 1500
Aced it!
I hope we get a retrain of Roze where she’s on the good side since Raye saves her and she probably redeem herself
(Also I want to here no more comments about good and evil in war or something like that we can have a moral discussion about that in somewhere else)

Live Twins and Sky Strikers apparently have some story between them. Had a friend point that out in one of the newer cards that came out for the archtype.
