Impulse and Grian are probably equally responsible for starting off wars in s9, but the difference is that Impulse feels guilty about it and Grian definitely does not.
Grian is honestly more responsible both times.
Grian is the one who escalates the situation and often pushes both sides.

I don't think either actually feels guilty about helping the other hermits create enjoyable, engaging content; but Impulse has a much kinder persona.
Impulse glossed over the fact that he has build the most beautiful floor design I've seen in Minecraft. That guided Blackstone, to gold ore, to gold to lights is so beautiful!

I say, go full Dad Mode and bring peace to the server. Maybe team up with Pearl, as she already gave Doc a stern talk about the eggs. If that war escalates any further, the whole Hermitcraft server could be in danger.

I mean, if you want to bring peace, you could talk Scar and Grian through repairing the tunnel borer, since that's what Doc has said is the only way this ends. If you'd rather add chaos, you could plant redstone traps on both sides so they blame each other.
Or secretly repair it, just ask Doc why he's doing all this. 'They exploded your tunnel bore? No way! Show me! Eh, looks fine.'

I think that’s a good suggestion for peace, because I don’t think trying to teach scar and grian how to do complex redstone would in any way be boring
"I *accedentally* kicked off a war", says the guy who put "TO BE CONTINUED" at the end of his episode when it happened. Impulse knew exactly what he was doing :P
He technically started 2 wars. He was the first one to defy Ren which had Grian start the resistance. Then he was one of the first ones to bug grian about his base which in turn made scar and grian blow up the tunnel machine 😂
i mean this prank war really isnt even about the tunnel bore at this point, grian had zedaph light a block of tnt inside hall of goat and nobody repaired the small hole in the wall of his base. in fact before doc seen the hole inside hall of goat, he was completely at peace over the entire tunnel bore then. grian totally couldve avoided all of this, if he felt the need to make sure that docs base was repaired after zedaph blew a whole in it. instead he didnt, so doc tricked grian into blowing up mumbos door. which, even mumbo didnt care that his door was blown up because he hasnt even cared to fix it lol same as mumbo isnt bothered by the dozen-ish eggs inside his base. honestly im surprised most of the server isnt at war with grian for that chicken prank cuz docs base has an active chunk loader. the whole server was suffering from that prank which doc was sick at the time, so he probably wasnt online for a couple days.
Sneak in and repair Doc's tunnel bore. Watch the confusion as they try to figure out who did it.
I think only Mumbo and Cub are qualified for tunnel bore repairs. I don't recall Impulse doing much with flying machines (let alone tunnel bores). I think he could, but I think it would be a bit too much of a learning curve, especially one that complex to use a train carrying wardens.

Scar is actively the one who blew up the tunnel bore because Grian originally didn't want to touch it but Scar convinced him too, then tapped it at the same time. Doc wouldn't take Scar and I feel Scar would only go to be a double agent.

I love the Gold Star floor in the Forge! So cool! What can top the bot war? Btw Grian was going to find the tunnel bore with or without your tough love. You just expedited it! 😂 I don’t blame you but that is 2 wars in 1 season. Let’s hope Tango can finish Decked Out to pacify all the chaos. Been a fun and eventful season.

I love the wholesome pranks, especially becouse doc hates them. Remembering the Iskall death ride with the final death by diorite, or the prank Grian did on you with the questions and blowing up. Trying to get the pranks on the more annoying and less time consuming to clean up side would be a good influence to the war. Like Pearl has beef with Grian duping the egg. So why not add a new side to the war instead of choosing the current sides.

You and the soup group should build an escape room with two paths that both lead to a couples therapy room. Get the goats and the buttercups to go through their respective paths without telling them about the others.

Everyone's all "Join Doc! Be the mediator!" No. Go full evil. Make them join forces to defeat you and apologize to each other. Only then... can balance be restored to the server.
doc has the entire hivemind at his fingertips. there is nothing impulse could do, that would make doc feel the need to team up in order to get back at impulse. lol

You can't blame yourself, Impulse. If you tell a kid to clean their room, and they decide to start WWIII, it's not your fault. I think, though, if you're going to get involved... that you should escalate by pranking both sides in a way that they blame each other. Either that, or join Doc and give Grian the gears.
You should build a courthouse to litigate this dispute peacefully (before they blow the whole server up).
(and blow it up with them inside, uniting them against Impulse thus solving the conflict)

lol could model it off the courthouse from Etho's mindcrack trial for the nostalgia. Ensure lots of room for chaos. Get hermits to judge/be lawyers.
You could use candles for metals, like a dark blue for steel, and maybe red for hot metal that's just been taken out of the forge, the red candles could even be about to be dunked into the water to cool off.
Impulse has to join none other then Doc and Ren. As then its 3 VS 3. Also he can punish Grian for getting distracted all the time instead of finishing of the back of his Base.

For the armor stands you should do gold armor with black trim for one and netherite armor with gold trim for the other! The forge is looking fantastic!
That horse would fit really well in Gem's base. Maybe a stable type build where your bases meet above where the crane is?

Idk why but that glowy bit on the forge floor really tickles my noodle brain in a great way! I really like how it blends/ fades out and looks kinda like a magical glowing patch on the ground. Your building/ decorating skills have definitely improved and I'm really loving your base this season!
The Buttercups were considering putting more quotes on The Perimeter, you could put one and Doc would blame them lmao

Representative of the seven dwarves.
If you get involved in the Perimeter War, don't forget that because of your base location, Gem and Pearl could be dragged in with you - and you wouldn't want to make enemies of someone who lives literally on top of you.
With Pearl as the Cleaning Lady, and Gem as a chill Canadian, the three of you make a good candidate team to be the peacemakers.

For the armour stands, you should make a "beard protection" piece to add there under the helmet, as if those were special Dwarven armour pieces.
How has this Dwarf not dug to deep?! I assume the final touch/build to the base will have to be a deeprock cavern//mine that has unleashed some horrible disaster....

Impulse, since you look like a bumblebee with that armor, you can try and pollinate the buttercup flowers, make honey bottles, and distribute them as peace drinks
A really cool flex would be trapping a zombie in the spots instead of the armor stands and giving the zombies the armor with the trims, and of course the Beard.
Love the gilded gold effect in the forge. It looks like it’s is scattered and spilling out of the forge

Hey Impulse! I just wanted to say I’ve been watching your Phasmo stream vods for a while, and I’ve decided I’m gonna start watching your Hermitcraft episodes too 💛
1) add another inspirational phrase to the perimeter. But out of obsidian and crying obsidian.
2) in Scar, mumbo, and Grian's bases: build up a scaffolding to build height, make a 1x1 nest at build height, and put lava in it. When they break the scaffolding, it will slowly fall and make a mess.
The crossover will forever be one of the best things to happen in MCYT😂😂😂
I think bringing DadPulse out could be useful! I think their battle's and pranks could get out of hand if they go any further. But maybe you could help end the war in a fun way!

Impulse's face when Olli's rap started playing was hilarious. He was in full on PG streamer panic mode for a moment before he realized it in game and Olli and not like, his music player or something in the background playing Eminem. And how he should join the war.... just get hired in Scarland as Scar's red stone guy, automatic in in the wars to come :D

Personally I'd love to see you attempting to be a mediator... especially if it kept getting misinterpreted and making the conflict worse. Maybe get together with Pearl and figure out something with her, since shes been affected by the egg disaster?
Regarding the horse: there were actually underground farms and horse-drawn carriages in mines until mining got electrified (Pit pony / mining horse). An underground stable would thus fit into the build.

You should have red candles instead of yellow candles on the redstone side to better tie in the candles to the build.
I love the music for the time lapse. So fitting. And also, I suggest that you steal the original dragon egg that Pearl has in her base. She will think it's either Grian or Doc, or perhaps Cleo or Cub and they will all blame each other.
Oh I love that floor! the transition from raw gold, deepslate gold ore to gilded blackstone looks amazing! Is that ochre froglights in the middle? The forge looks awesome!

I agree with popular demand, Your involvement would be most entertaining as part of a third faction, The Soup Group. Pearl is a bit miffed about Grian AND Doc abusing the Dragon Eggs (Doesn't matter to her who duped them first) and Gem is the secret weapon to make sure Doc doesn't turn his hivemind's full attention to you, since he is terrified of her.

Prank both groups. Spread skulk on the buttercup team. For doc, put little mob spawners made out of obsidian throughout the perimeter above the water so they land safely.

The magic Egg Ball question chamber is great idea for generating more content. You should team up with Pearl about getting involved in the war as she not only was stolen from but also hired to do some of clean up work from the prank war. Though I think Pearl might be conflicted by your new use of the dragon egg.😅

You could make the whole dome free of water, and just split the floor in 2 huge green/red areas, that way you don't need water breathing, you can walk anywhere in the dome, and the egg can still only land on one of the 2 areas

I really liked the time-lapse format. Slower building in time with the music turned it into a tangible, shared experience. Great stuff!
You should bring them both together and have them sitting on opposite sides of a room, and pretend to be trying to bring them back together, and then, when they’ve made up, use hidden TNT minecarts to blow one side up and announce (without anyone’s prior knowledge) that you are joining the other side. Also hopefully they’ll think that the other side was the one that blew them up so that they start blaming each other. Like you could say to Grian or Ren, depending on which side you want to join “when i give you the signal, push that button”, and it activates the TNT so it will hopefully add fuel to the war
Impulse your comedic timing with the "maybe I should escalate... for fun." and the smash cut of the Decision Dome screenshot had me CACKLING. XD

I think it would be fun for a third faction to join in, soup group to the rescue of the server! Alternatively to even up the teams join ren and doc as a level head? Whatever you do don't second guess the reaction of the audience. Go with your gut.
Both sides have callingcards, so you could prank both sides and trick them into thinking the other team did it. Put a redstone machine using diamond ore on Grian/mumbo/scar's base for their prank from "doc". Then use chickens and/or yellow flowers as part of Doc's prank from "the buttercups". Let them escalate things and watch the chaos unfold

Also, definitely escalate the feud/prank war. I love drama. Spicing up my life with Minecraft wars is my joy. Make me happy here. Besides, the Egg has Chosen. Pull a prank on both sides, play them all and win.
Who to join by a morality scale:
Grian looks at the tunnel bore but does nothing. +- 0 points.
Scar states that Grian might die tonight -0.5 points.
Grian shows Scar the tunnel bore -0.5 points.
Scar tells Grian how to operate it -1 point.
Grian and Scar double operate it and blow it up -5 points.
Grian and Scar: -7 points.
Doc: 0 points.
Grian and Scar give doc all the redstone needed to rebuild it +3 points.
Grian and Scar also give him diamonds, rare TCG cards and one of Grian's dragon eggs +3 points.
They build an escape hatch -1 point.
They build an obviously fake tunnel bore -0.5 points.
Doc gets angry at what the've done even after what they do for him. -0.5 points.
Grian and Scar: -2.5 points.
Doc: -0.5 points.
Doc shrinks Grian portal +- 0 points (very petit prank)
Doc sends dozens of Wither skulls to Scarland -2 points (Only deadly if dealt with horribly)
Grian and Scar: -2.5 points.
Doc: -2.5 points.
(Currently tied)
Grian uses Zedaph to blow up a tiny chunk of Doc's base. +-0 points for easily repairable damage, but -1 point for using Zedaph as a scapegoat.
Doc hacks Mumbo's machine to get the purple crown -1 point.
Doc uses a special trap that blows up mumbo's front door -5 points. (-3 for redstone damage and -2 for damaging an innocent bystander's base)
(If he did not make it obvious that it was him with the diamond ore redstone, I would've subtracted 2 more points for framing Zedaph.)
Grian and Scar: -3.5 points
Doc: -8.5 points (Could have been -10.5)
Grian and Scar.... I MEAN Poultry Man and hOtGuY; bombard the entire perimeter with thousands of chickens -6 points (It took Doc forever to clean this up)
Doc sends about 1/32 of the chooks back to Grian's base -0.5 point.
Grian and Scar:- 9.5 points
Doc: -9 points.
Grian and Scar enlist Mumbo and form the Buttercups. +-0 points.
Grian Mumbo and Scar build their camp on the perimeter of the perimeter (-0.5 points for ignorantly building in the path of the Goat bot)
Doc and Ren place eggs all over all the buttercups' bases -7 points (I think it is even harder to remove the eggs rather than the chickens)
The buttercups: -10 points
Doc and Ren: -16 points
Doc builds butterflies of mass destruction aimed at the buttercups' bases. -5 points (for potential blast damage to the bases)
Ren builds a spy area below the buttercups base +- 0 points (pretty fine in a time of war)
Mumbo builds the Bottercup to block the path. +- 0 points (self defence)
Ren sympathetically tells Mumbo about him being dragged into the war +1 point for honesty.
The buttercups: still -10
Doc and Ren: -20 points
Grian builds, "Live Laugh Love" -1 point for clean-up inconvenience.
(I don't want to deduct a point here because it is too wholesome; but I should for the above reason)
The buttercups: -11 points
Doc and Ren: -20 points
The battle:
Can't really deduct or add any morality points to anyone here. Most of the parameter damage was Doc's own doing and Doc's butterflies didn't make it to the bases.
It's funny though that Doc's butterfly only did damage to his own Goat bot.
Scores as of now:
Buttercups: -11
Doc and Ren: -20
Edit:
Doc's butterflies were built to be stopped before reaching the bases so +4.5 points to him for that insite.

i haven't watched impulse for a long while now, figured "sure" why not its late, i need something to watch.. and when i looked at his description and saw TFC still there, I honestly felt like needles had danced across my chest... its been almost a year since his passing and impulse still keeps him in his description, this server is more then just that. this group of friends is a family, and ones lost wont be forgotten

The rumbles felt deep underground from all the explosions has disturbed the dwarves. They grow tired of the surface dwellers' petty squabbles. There will be peace. There will be quiet. Or the dwarves will show the surface dwellers what happens when you awake the dwellers of the deep....
In other words, you should be a third faction trying to strong arm them into peace. If they refuse, tunnel into chaos.
I’d love to see Impulse bring more chaos! I was hoping before this video that he’d get involved…and maybe even side with the buttercups? The tie dye would be hilarious! I’m excited!
