Hermitcraft season 9 episode 40! We are back on Hermitcraft for the most insane episode I've ever made on the server. I blew Mumbos Hermitcraft base up, filled Doc's base up with over 3000 chickens with Grian, and made a horse trap for Bdubs. I still can't believe this episode happened or anything in it was real and not a dream. I destroyed Mumbo's base with TNT....wow. See you in the next Hermitcraft if I'm not banned from Hermitcraft before that happens hahaha

They just had to finish the job.
The fact that Mumbo paid someone to blow up his base, and it wasn't Grian, I don't know if Grian is going to be able to physically, emotionally or spiritually recover from that.

His farm side walls were small for his farm so he decided to destroy it but didn't want to do it by himself

seeing scar's footage at the perimeter makes me realize that doc computer is so dang powerful. the lag from doc vid is so minimal, didnt know it was that bad
He also said that the Hive mind optimization mods really helped 😅
He has threadripper and rtx 3080.. as seen in f3.. now 3080 is the second highest rated graphics card of previous year. So not that fancy as a lot of hermit has similar or better cards.. but his cpu is literally small server grade..
@@soumyadityaagarwalla1517 his cpu isn't particularly good for minecraft though, a high end "gaming" cpu would peform better than his threadripper
its probably just from the optimization mods that he has, ofc his pc is pretty high end anyways, but nothing insane

I watched doc's reaction and he was absolutely dumbfounded by how insane the chickens were as a retaliation. Especially by how quick grian came up with and executed the idea. I think doc's uno reverse card is good enough for now but he's planning to cook for sure

Doc's flagpole is always loaded, the chicken machine didn't stop even after you and Grian left. By the time Doc diabled it, there were at least 10,000 chickens in the perimeter. It was hilarious watching his reaction to the chickens initially loading in. This was probably one of the most glorious pranks ever performed on Hermitcraft and I can't wait to see how he'll get you two back for this.

Honestly, it's extremely satisfying how Grian, Doc, and Scar are each on different timing for episode releases - I have hardly had to wait at all for new chapters in the chicken saga lol

I worried about the server more than the hermit because what we talking here is a chaotic lag maker duo and someone who can literally break Minecraft
yeah. Poor Xisuma trying to hold the server in one piece during all this. he takes a little break from hermit videos and these lost are creating carnage. all those not involved just trying to build with all the lag. poor Tango making decked out with his neighbors making chaos.

Scar realising he will be payed by Mumbo, or Mumbo realising Scar did not even hear that he will be paied and just said yes for the fun of it. That conversation had me crying from laughter.

According to docs statistics, the number put in grians base, the amount ren and zed killed, foxes and lava, it was around 8000-10000 chickens.

Other statistics I calculated: there was approximately 6 1/2 hours of hermitcraft episodes posted this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. 1/ 1/2 hours of that was Doc

I did not expect the base destruction to be so fun and weirdly wholesome. Came for the eggening and got my heart warmed with TNT.

honestly, is it possible to dislike scar? this man is the perfect mix of wholesomeness and obliviousness, mixed with being a pure chaotic force of nature.

Grian is a chaotic entity from the void that took the form of a humanoid waffle and Scar has mastered the Feline Arts of Magic and Archery.
The only duo who could stand against them is Doc and Gem, but I think Gem would kill anyone for funsies at request, so even Doc isn't safe with her 🤣
Well considering that mumbo is clearly willing to be dragged into whatever with them, and Zed was framed for docs crime, I'd say they've got some allies

This entire video was just amazing. This is like riding a roller coaster that tricks you into thinking it will go one way, but suddenly, you're on a loop and screaming from the thrill. Only this time, the screaming is just laughing hysterically. Lol

Doc has already laid out his peace terms, those 2 have to rebuild his tunnel bore and the fighting can stop.
This means that either the war ends when the season does, or Grian and Scar will know how to build tunnel bores; and I don't know what's worse.
I also foresee a third faction of Xisuma, Pearl, Cleo, and Joe who are just the clean up crew trying to fix the lag resulting from this war.

Doc is technically the defender in this war (officially started by Grian & Scar blowing up the tunnel bore, and now his peace terms are that they rebuild it).
Its likely that most hermits will be sympathetic towards doc, and the rest will remain neutral. (Tango is to busy suffering from scope creep to get involved in a prank war, unless the lag makes testing decked out impossible)
I'm sure Tango (and probably Etho) will get roped in at some point. The timing of the escalation seems to be pointing to a climax right around the opening of Decked Out, which means Tango will suddenly be (somewhat) available 😈
Cleo and Cub will join in just because they're both chaos gremlins. Pearl and Gem would almost definitely be down for a scrap as well. Joe will probably get involved under a complicated and contradictory pretext. Ren might get involved, unless he's determinedly pacifist after the dethroning - though it also wouldn't surprise me if he led a guerilla army of pacifists against both sides (which I'm sure Joe and Xisuma would be eager to join).
I'm not familiar enough with most of the rest of the hermits to make any confident guesses.

I do love that out of the three things you're did this ep- base destruction via TNT, killing pet horses, and filling a base with chickens- it's the chickens that's going to get you hunted to the ends of the server 😂
We know doc watches the other hermit’s videos to see their perspective of what’s going on around him so imagine the range of emotions from the chicken prank then scar getting paid to do a much bigger version of what caused the chicken prank to happen the rage the confusion the laughter the jealousy that he didn’t get to do it
Imagine that Grian knows nothing about this and just logs on to see Mumbos base completely destroyed and his base full of chickens 😂

Grian and Scar are brilliant content creators. Grian egged on Doc with his Zed egg hunt, and has caused a chain reaction that led us here.
Technically this chain reaction all started because Mumbo was aging his copper inefficiently
@@enderdragon2233 I mean sure, but the first active content creator part really came from Grian, then the team that went to get him to finish the back of his base. Mumbo certainly never intended for Grian to respond to his aging copper.

I like to think it’s more a matter of realizing that in a long season he doesn’t have to rush to the finish and can make fantastic content out of in-world trial and error on his designs. Blowing up the base is just as fun as building it, and you get to do it again!

istg chickens are going to be like the new oranges. Where in the godfather, whenever there's an orange on screen, someone's about to die. But now, in Minecraft, whenever a chicken's on screen, chaos is definitely about to ensue.

Absolutely amazing how Scar was excited to chose chaos in having who know how many chickens in Doc’s perimeter with Grian, choosing to kill Bdubs by using the wither skulls Doc put on his base and to top this episode off by blowing up Mumbo’s base. Truly beautiful way to watch this episode.
Doc and Mumbo are only really dangerous if they have time to plan. Scar and Grain don’t need a plan, they just act. And that’s why the server is going to war.

My first experience with Hermitcraft was watching Grian's Season 6. Seeing Poultry Man return to _team up with HotGuy_ is the greatest thing I've ever seen!

I love how many ways Scar can make his voice sound, it is an amazing instrument (9:25 as example)
The best part of this is that Doc totally thought of this EXACT scenario when he made the giant sign, and said something to the effect of "they know who I mean," as if Grian and Scar wouldn't ever dare dream of exploiting exactly such a loophole.
Next season Scar and Grian need to partner in a demolition business as tnt experts.
