True. I think Grian is actually very smart and his chaotic persona might be quite a bit of acting. I remember when they invited friends on the hermitcraft server to play decked out and the hermits mentored the newcomers. And Grian was by far the best mentor. His instructions were quick, short, clear and precise, exactly what you need as a player who wants to go far in a short amount of time. He might even make a good drill seargent ^^
1) If this was closer to when season 10 started, Scott should have told Grian to get a mending book from the water 2) I would love to see an Empires season 2 escape room, maybe to like destroy Grumbot again or smth with the rift

It would be fun to see multiple contestant doing this in a vc so they can hear each other and do it at the same time, but in different (identical) courses
So I'm 100% confident that Joel went first, Gem went second, and Grian went last. Based on exchanges in the episode, I think the full order is: Joel, Gem, Pearl, Bdubs, Impulse, and Grian. Impulse's gave me the most difficulty, but based on how Scott specifies Impulse needs to use his fist on the button at the beginning AND only thinks to tell Bdubs at the end, it makes sense that he went right before Impulse.
The way i instantly went "oh break the pots!" When i loaded the video, heard the "cant break blocks" rule, gave up on the idea, and screamed CALLED IT when they started breaking it

Impulse will be pretty par for the course, good at any redstone style stuff, but get stuck easily on everything else, probably pretty mid scoring. Gem either Wins or comes 3 pretty good time, but gets shouty when she gets stuck, does one of her classic long drawn out hightish pitched groans like “ Sccccooooootttttt.. ggrr” but overall does pretty well. Those pots, the trapdoors, the crafting table, the lectern, the lever, the bookshelves and the bed are all useful items that anyone with a mind to will take and absolutely break your game. Gem demonstrated how that might be an issue lol Those "tables" at the end would trivialize the skulk puzzle. Pretty sure it's also possible to get to the end without using the ender pearl.
I LOVE these! Scott is so talented at building these escape rooms and I just love watching people try to figure out all of his puzzles! He’d be a great game designer for a puzzle type game

Hope this doesn't feel like comment spam, but I just love these escape rooms so much, and this was so good!! The decor was so good. The puzzzles were so challenging and fun to watch. In case you did not know, while in Spectator Mode, if you punch a player or mob, you “possess” them and are capable of perceiving through their eyes
