The G11 isn't an SMG but it was listed as such in the Fallout 2 Wiki. You can get the Skorpion SMG from the “Cranky Shotgun” mod’s misc files section. ALL CLASSIC SMGs ARE AVAILABLE WOO! On XBOX One the Sten Gun Redux isn't available but there are two other Sten Gun mods on XBOX. Also I say 14 mods in the video but they are actually 13. Thank you for 10.9K subscribers!

Also little nitpick: "Chicago Typewriter" was name given to Thompson M1921, which had even faster rate of fire than M1928, at about 1000rpm, so fast you could no longer feel recoil of individual shots. M1928 was model specifically requested by US military to fire slower than M1921.
and the reason why the Mp5 needs a good slappin ain't because it's been a "naughty girl" but by slapping the cocking lever you are positively loading a round into the chamber and locking the cocking lever support firmly in place. It's a mandatory procedure and was built to take a good beating
1:51 During WW2, this gun was ACTUALLY famous with American Tankcrews, as in the movie Fury. It still saw action, even though it was completely phased out after the Second World war.
The M3A1 grease gun saw use up into the gulf war, after which it finally started becoming phased out. Although to be fair it really only stuck around in tanks.
If you want something similar like 12.7 smg, you can check skibadas rifle rebirth which includes an smg similar looking to it. It uses plasma rifle animations but it fits MUCH better then what the 12.7 smg mod has. Also the rifle rebirth pack in general is a high quality lore friendly mod that includes the Chinese AR and a rifle that is essentially the Galil and a few other things Edit: While I still highly suggest using the rifles rebirth mod because of it's quality, a mod author named Bwones made a really high quality 12.7 mm smg which you should go and check out if you don't want to run a weapon pack.
@@CopeAndSeeth same, animations to me are make or break for me. If they don't come with them then the weapon needs to make up for it by bring in cool gameplay features. A good example of this is the tinker's raygun

We really do need a 12.7mm Submachine Gun mod with custom animations. I know Rifles Rebirth has something similar, because let’s face it the 12.7mm SMG would’t be the only chonky SMG out there, but I’d still like a high quality one.
When we worked on the 12.7mm we tried at the time to get custom animations but at the time everyone was busy, and I’ve moved on from modding. I’d love to see one though as well 👍🏻
It was just a joke BTW the mod is good but there’s a clear difference in quality between it and everything showcased before it so I felt it didn’t fit in well.

This was the first video I watched on your channel and I just want to say, this is such a genius video and so well done. Fallout 4 has been a complete mental drag for me to tolerate but I love the graphical upgrades, what can be offered in its basic gunplay too. But when I think of Fallout, just as much as I like story. I like the guns, something Fallout 4 save for energy weapons, was super lackluster in. Such a great idea to develope a mod list to give it one last try. Big ups
I love the crisp editing with little hang time in between the animation examples (which are given usually in tandem with both 3rd and 1st person views, an awesome touch) with a quick history of the weapon, a bit of lore/explanation of its name. I also like that it only gives us a quick list of the number and breadth of the attachments available per weapon. A fantastic channel to watch in tandem with someone like Degenerate Dak who give extremely in depth by-the-numbers breakdowns of many of the same mods. 2 minutes in and you got my subscription! well done!
the "typewriter" part of the Chicago Typewriter name comes from the fact that the rate of fire was slow, not fast, and resembled the sound and pace of a typewriter. the earlier versions of the civilian thompson actually had quite a slower rate of fire compared to later versions and the military ww2 version.

US military did not replace the Thompson with the M3 grease gun, they ran out of thpmpsons and could manufacture grease guns quicker but both were still being manufactured and used well into the korean war. The biggest reason why they invented the grease gun was beacause the thompson was to large for tank, airplanes and trucks and those guys were only equipped with a m1911 pistol so they made the grease gun. Grease guns were primarily used by tank crews and the ones used by infantry were not issued they traded their m1 garand or thompson for it. The grese fun was only issued to tank crews even well up into the korean war. It never replaced the thompson. The thompson was issued to officers, regular soldiers were issued a M1 garand, mg were issued the BAR, support gunners were issued a m1 carbine, marksmen or lance corprale were issued 1903 springfields, tank crews were issued m3 grese guns, m1911 pistols, mp and navy were issued s&w revolvers, shot guns and what ever they could get. The grese gun could have maybe been issued to some paratroopers because of its compact size but for the most part the m3 did not replace the thompson and had a low fire rate and its own specific role, both were being manufactured at the same time woth more grese guns being manufactured. The grease gun is like the british STEN. The british and canadoans still purchased used the thompson but also manufactured their own STEN. Big difference is that one is a military contract the other grease gun and STEN were made by goverment armories. One was made by the goverment for cheap the other is sold to the military by a company who handles manufacturing.

The reason people... "spank" their MP5's is due to what's called a slap bolt. With means that you lift the bolt up slightly to keep it held back while you reload the weapon. It's not required to reload the weapon, but it's significantly faster, especially when reloading from a completely empty firearm. Funny thing about the G11 is that if you pay close attention, you'll see two little slots on either side of the magazine well. That's actually designed to hold two additional magazines. Now I'd love for an animator to implement that reload into a game! Also, it's not an SMG. It's an LMG. It fires a 4.73 caseless round, and it consider a light machine gun, which shares a family with the MG36, the Bren, and the Steyr Aug.
The G11 isn't an LMG, it's an assault rifle. Interesting fact tho: There WAS an "LMG11" variant planned that would feed from 300 round magazines, but since the G11 program was cancelled with the end of the Cold War it's development was cut short.
0:59 it was called the chicago type writter because at the time buisness men used type writers to write letters, buisness men in chicago used the thompson as their type writter. That is were the name comrs from.
I chose a different Thompson mod, which just retextures the vanilla gun to look more like an actual Thompson, but it's an M1A1 thompson in this mod, because that's the one i like the look of the most. Weirdly enough though, it seems the M3 is also a replacer, so i rarely see the Thompson in game, and the triggermen had either a M3 or a BAR (because that also replaces thompsons apparently), one dude had a Thompson.
The 12.7mm SMG has had another mod made since the upload of this video by Bwones. It's on the Nexus, and it's just called 12.7mm SMG. It's more detailed, and has custom animations including power armour animations.
5:45 I need that uzi with the huge muzzle break. The Walther MPL should be standard in all fallout games imo its that weird blend of scifi and cold war that makes it perfect for Fallout

The G11 is referred to as being created through Kraut Apace Magic because the mechanism that is used is most akin to a grandfather clock, it’s complicated as shit, whoever came up with it was probably on something. For instance I’m pretty sure the “chamber” is a rotating disc in the gun that rotates to fire a round and collect another.
Is it just me or would the first version of the grease gun, the one with the crank style charging handle instead of the more basic, less interesting looking hole-in-the-bolt charging “handle”?
Nice, now we just need all the other classic Fallout weapons (note: They do probably exist, I mean I know New Vegas has a classic weapons-mod-pack, so there's probably one for Fallout 4, too), like the pulse-rifle, the (real, not this clunky Badthesda thing that needs reload after every single shot!) gauss-rifle and the gauss-gattling...I'd also like the return of the Archimedes-Laser from NV (that thing was always fun, not the most usefull thing, but fun!) and the holograms from the Sierra Madre (New Vegas has a mod that gives you a portable holo-projector that you can set the image on - so either the security holo or starlet and frankly it is fun seeing an angry red starlet hologram kill Legion-Luddites (as I hate slavers with a passion, I would often release that hologram near their bases!))
I love these videos but to be fair I have come across the Skorpion weapon on Nexus somewhere and while looking for it I found two things. On Discord, on the Vault Omegan server, there is the Vz. 61 Scorpion is only in Korean and the translation of it is not the best. The other is on the moddb site there is a New Vegas weapons mode which has a number of other weapons in it (The 12 mm sub machine gun didn't get a proper animation here either.) Actually the only one worth mentioning here is the Plasma Defender because of your earlier video. That's all I like, see you until your next video. (Sorry for any typos, I'm Hungarian.)
This I like like Fallout 1-NV whenever there was a new gun introduced it resembled or was close to real guns. Then FO4 dropped with crazy pipe guns and the horrendous Assault rifle. I miss my Chinese and regul;ar Assault rifle from FO3.
I never understood why the 12.7mm SMG never got animations. The modeling is gorgeous but it just seems unfinished. They could’ve even used Plasmas rifle animations and it would’ve worked well.
@@Mutant_Mods an uzi would be badass, one of my fav smgs too, my favorite smgs are the thompson and the p90 so i think every game could have them. no offence but i dont see the point of the 633 since most shooters already have a ar plataform weapon so is kinda reduntant, but is not a bad choice. also i guess i cant really argument since the pp19 is also also one of my fav smgs lol.

May I add ontop. you can also download a patch where if you have the 12.7mm Pistol mod, it'll use that ammunition type instead of the 45.

Instead of using the Thompson mod I just use the stick mags mod for the base game smg and it accomplishes the same thing

The classic 10mm smg could be a mini version of the modern smg.
The G11 is referred to as being created through Kraut Apace Magic because the mechanism that is used is most akin to a grandfather clock, it’s complicated as shit, whoever came up with it was probably on something. For instance I’m pretty sure the “chamber” is a rotating disc in the gun that rotates to fire a round and collect another.
Sten gun should replaces the Pipe gun.
Is it just me or would the first version of the grease gun, the one with the crank style charging handle instead of the more basic, less interesting looking hole-in-the-bolt charging “handle”?

Nice, now we just need all the other classic Fallout weapons (note: They do probably exist, I mean I know New Vegas has a classic weapons-mod-pack, so there's probably one for Fallout 4, too), like the pulse-rifle, the (real, not this clunky Badthesda thing that needs reload after every single shot!) gauss-rifle and the gauss-gattling...I'd also like the return of the Archimedes-Laser from NV (that thing was always fun, not the most usefull thing, but fun!) and the holograms from the Sierra Madre (New Vegas has a mod that gives you a portable holo-projector that you can set the image on - so either the security holo or starlet and frankly it is fun seeing an angry red starlet hologram kill Legion-Luddites (as I hate slavers with a passion, I would often release that hologram near their bases!))

I love these videos but to be fair I have come across the Skorpion weapon on Nexus somewhere and while looking for it I found two things. On Discord, on the Vault Omegan server, there is the Vz. 61 Scorpion is only in Korean and the translation of it is not the best. The other is on the moddb site there is a New Vegas weapons mode which has a number of other weapons in it (The 12 mm sub machine gun didn't get a proper animation here either.) Actually the only one worth mentioning here is the Plasma Defender because of your earlier video.

This I like like Fallout 1-NV whenever there was a new gun introduced it resembled or was close to real guns. Then FO4 dropped with crazy pipe guns and the horrendous Assault rifle. I miss my Chinese and regul;ar Assault rifle from FO3.
If i remember corectly, the Assault Rifle from 4 is actualy a LMG for Power Armor Units dont know where i read that tho

The "Mp5 slap" is the actual way to reload it, it's even on the manual
I’ve done research and it seems just a matter of preference. You don’t have to slap it and sometimes if slapped wrong it would fuck up the handle.
Anyone know what armor mod is used at 2:04 for the raider/gunner to have a radio backpack?
I find Laser RCW too overpowered, but otherwise the mod is a gem - I love the futuristic furniture you can upgrade it with.

I never understood why the 12.7mm SMG never got animations. The modeling is gorgeous but it just seems unfinished. They could’ve even used Plasmas rifle animations and it would’ve worked well.

i feel that the 12.7mm submachine gun from new vegas is kinda underrated, i mean, how many video games have a 50 cal smg?
I like it but not as much as if there was to be an Uzi in the game. My favorite SMGs are the Colt 633 and the Uzi.
@@Mutant_Mods an uzi would be badass, one of my fav smgs too, my favorite smgs are the thompson and the p90 so i think every game could have them.
no offence but i dont see the point of the 633 since most shooters already have a ar plataform weapon so is kinda reduntant, but is not a bad choice.
also i guess i cant really argument since the pp19 is also also one of my fav smgs lol.
