These videos makes me miss my old 91’ 4 runner. It was exactly like that one, only black and a 4 cylinder engine. Took it camping in those same forests in my college years in the early 00’s.

You're helping me live out my dream through you and helping me get closer to getting into nomadic living. The simplicity, freedom, independence, and self reliance are the things I crave. Living in the city in a suburb is practical and convenient but being out on the open road and embracing mother nature in all her beauty is even better, then you add a hot home made meal and few brewskies on top of that and it's literally Heaven on earth! I actually really enjoy these videos of yours when you were doing the old car camping deal. Super relaxing without a lot of talking but great video shots. IMO this style of car camping is so much easier and relaxing than the van.

One suggestion from this backpacking old lady....: PLEASE DON'T RINSE OUT YOUR DISHES, COFFEE GROUNDS OR LEFTOVERS INTO THE WATER SOURCE!! I could be camping downstream and end up with it in MY breakfast. I LOVE your style, but read up on LEAVE NO TRACE principles. Thanks in advance.

Hi! Question: whay do you buy wood for fire instead using the broken trees that are a lot in the places where you camp? Is about US legislation /forest regulations? I'm from Europe. Thanks!
Would it be more cost effective to get like a 5lb rhino tank on longer trips? I know those lil canisters are better for room, but the big tank would last longer , easily exchanged

Might not be able to take it on rough/dirt roads but there’s plenty of campgrounds where you can drive up to on paved/smoother roads!
