I'm not a barber but I use andis t liners to shave my face and head. I usually let my buddy who's a barber adjust them. Well I was looking on Amazon for blades and came across this blade setter. Received it and new blades and it was easy to set and I must say this is the closest I ever got these clippers to cut. Very satisfied.
Chuka, let me say this. I am a real straight forward dude whrn it comes to products. Forget the hype, if it's crap I'm saying it's crap. If it's good I'm saying it's good. Anivo blade setter is crap, Andis blade setter is ok but there is a learning curve. This blade setter is a (BEAST!!!) I put my Superlinets and Styliner 2's to the side because it took too much to set them proporly, but this little tool set all of them on the first try and they all hit like crazy. "This is the real deal!!!"
Just got the the Rich barber blade setter after thinking about it for a while and wish I would’ve ordered them sooner. I couldn’t figure out how to use until I watched the video because i over complicated it but its super easy! I used them and my man wasn’t lying, the lines are sharp with no biting and the edge ups are super crisp! Im glad I purchased them, great product, thank you.
Can't lie I did this.. tested on my arm and got that burning sensation as If I cut myself .. and I did lol. For me personally it was a Lil tougher to keep the blade in place while placing it back on the body of the trimmers. (T outliners 2) But they still hit just gotta be light.

Hey I ordered the black one for the t outliner and the yellow for the gtx. The gtx(yellow) setter didn't set the gtx blade as close as I like so I tried the black one for the gtx and it set it just right and it also set the t outliner blade just right also. I thought you couldn't use the black setter for the gtx but u can and it works better.
After 7 tries with the Gold setter and my GTX, I couldn't get the cutting blade to sit below the comb blade at all! I tried the black setter and what do ya know...it works.
I need help for once this whole time it was working for me... But I was installing it with the tool on. After I zero gap I remove the tool and mount it with out the tool

I just received 2 blade setters the black and the gold. The gold for the GTX blade will NOT work. I readjusted 7 times and each time the small blade goes over the stationary blade a little less than a quarter inch. I finally gave up and tried the black setter with the GTX and it is "On the Money". The black setter and the T-outliner blade is "On the Money' as well. IDK whats up with the Gold product Chuka?
Okay so I purchased the blade setter for the GTX blade, but the GTX blade, the top blade is already loose, it comes right out and the screws don't even turn. Is this normal? Even when I put the blade back on top, it doesn't let you slide it, as it stays in place without any tightening, therefore you cant slide the blade to the top. I am lost lol

I used to THINK my blades were zero gapped. Great product. I will now clean my clippers more often because I can get them right back "on the money" without taking half a F hour. Thanks for a great product, Sir.

How do you fix the small blade from moving once it’s in place and I start . It’s not level. Dipping down at one end. The back blade is loose. Am I missing something? Do I need to replace the dark square thing that it lines up with?

I got Andis blade setter, It's a peice of shit. This product is great. I cut my lil boys hair with all of my liners with out cutting them. I purchase two of them, the black and the blue. never regret that purchase at all. Thank You.

Just got mine yesterday. Cut a head this morning. The Setter is on point! My early Christmas gift. These will save you time in your cuts. Not to mention saving money from using blades to get crispy lines. Good product.
Aye G it is a lil different than the mirror because when you free handing it on the mirror you can have the blade set to an angle to where it will bite and leave scars

Got my "On The Money" blade setter in the mail today. It REALLY took only about 10 seconds to properly line up the blade. YOOOOOOO!! I was about to buy a new blade and this joint has my 5 year old blade (I know I should probably replace it anyway) cutting like new!!! Just lined myself up and my shit is looking RIGHT!!!! I've used this to set blade on 3 different outliners and they all cut and/or irritate my client's skin. I use a very light touch. Any suggestions? I really want to like this product.
I been a barber for 10 years I’m use to the old fashion way of lining blades up on a mirror. I seen this product and was press to try it I must say it’s a great ideas but it don’t like up the blades even to get that sharp look. The price I paid for it was ok but not worth it. My only question is does the blade sitter zero gap the blade because I honestly don’t like that zero Gap because they really don’t cut that great when it’s like that I like a little space between the top and bottom blade so It still cut but not pinching....
This does not work on my andis t liner modified blade only on regular blades. I took the blade from my andis stock blade it snapped in there but not the modified blade :(
