Three months after my last smp session I only use razor blade to get close shave. First month I was using t-outliner but since my smp settled and blended more I can’t leave it that long cause its noticable, so I close shave every day and it looks perfectly natural.
Hey if I was to get a smp what’s the highest number on a clipper could o get away with? Like could I do a number 1 or 2 on the clipper or does it always have to be a 0?? I been wanting to do this but I have hair still a lot of it but I have a larger forehead I wanted to bring my hairline down lower, and I’m ok with leaving my hair permanently like that but I don’t know if I want it to be a 0 it would be great if I could Atleast leave my hair at a number 1
T outliner for sure n go with the grain on top leaves that extra hair to give u a darker look n against the grain on the sides. I would go with the grain on the sides but it leaves to much hair poking out won't look right. N then of course on top pair it with zero shine 2.0 which is an anti shine putty as opposed to lotion which doesn't hide the shine as good not even close in my opinion
Thanks Matt, I’m scheduled soon in Fort Lauderdale with Danny, and I heard he’s the best. Let me ask you something Matt, when you shave your head, do you only shave the sides of your head? As with us, we really don’t need to shave the top unless you wanna keep it tight, but you really don’t have to shave the top after the procedure, right?
Danny is great! I typically shave the whole head, sides especially. I dont have really any hair left on top but like to go over it to clean up any of the last bits hanging on!
I use the Pitbull Pro Gold Skull Shaver on my head/ SMP and LOVE it! If you’re looking for the best place to get your SMP done, Scalp Micro USA is the spot. They changed my life.
@@armstrong3382 Yes, I replace mine about once every 9 to 12 months. Costs about 35$ but the convenience, speed and lack of cleanup with the skull shaver makes it worth it for me.
If you're thinking about doing SMP, but maybe afraid to take the leap, go for it! It is life changing. Big thanks to Matt and the entire team at Scalp Micro USA in NY
I'm blonde-grey with my remaining hair, so once I go for SMP, I'm concerned how to keep the right length, as if I shave the back and sides then it's as bald as my top; too much length won't look right once the SMP "dots" are on.
Wahl clipper not lasting as long? Is that a joke? Especially vs. the Pitbull which is literally made in a sweat shop in China. Wahl make professional clippers for professional stylists, their Pro range, like the Balding clippers are built like tanks and last over a decade.
I was thinking the same thing when he said that about Wahl. Whenever I think haircut anything, Wahl is THE NAME that comes to mind. They've been doing this hair game thing for a good minute now. I've got a basic Wahl trimmer that I've had since I hit puberty. I'm 34 now, and the only issue I have with it is when the AA batteries die while trimming, because I should've changed them before I started...
@@marcoamadori4414 Hey Marco. I don't remember the model number off the top of my head. I do know that the body of the Trimmers is Gray/Silver. My mom bought it for me when I was like 12 or 13 from Walmart. Never had to change the blade. I do make sure to keep the blade clean and lubricated though. Haven't had a problem with the blade not cutting or snagging. If I remember correctly, the blade is self-sharping...
@JuliusLeachmanIII wow it seems a very good product of Wahl I didn't know about these things about the blade I am assuming that all Wahl products now have this kind of blade Thank you
Please I am a Nigerian and I would love to intern with you sir,you don't have sponsor my coming over, all I need is invite so I can apply for a visa. I am an hyper realistic artist and I too suffer balding and I believe I would well acquiring this skill, plus I will be learning from the best
I had to use the t-line trimmer after my final smp treatment as I still have hair all over the sides and back and somewhat in the middle of my head half way down so it was the front and receded sides where I had treatment,I was using the skull shaver at first but noticed the shade and contrast of my natural hair was still quite dark and the natural hair follicles were really small and not as visual as my smp treatment follicles so by trying the trimmer it made it blend in much better and look more natural for somebody getting the treatment done after your final session leave it to heal and experiment with what’s better for smp
I'm getting SMP at Scalp Micro USA soon, and my go-to is a head shaver with 7 heads doing a wet shave with shaving cream. Leaves the shave smooth AF!.
Thanks!!!

would you recommend the gtx-exo M-Force or regular gtx-exo?

what do you think about wahl detailer cordless for someone who hace you same micro Pigmentation ?
Do you have to swap out the blade that are in the foil shavers and the pitball 4 disc shavers?
Thx!!

What do you use to get the look you have?
I have been liking the Pitbull skull shaver. There may be some higher priced higher quality foil shavers but the Pitbull does the job for me
@@Scalpmicrousa I read they can take a small layer of skin off could that damage the smp
Sir nice video 🇱🇰
Micopigment therapy?. You mean you actually tattoo your head ?. Setiously
Thank you so much Matt for giving me a new life by transforming me into a handsome person. May God bless you and SMP NY team
Thank you Deva was a blast working with you!

Can the skull shavers pull out the pigments and fade it away? I feel like after using the skull shaver, some spots faded.

How much does it cost generally?
@@cns187 all depends on how much you're balding.
my Andis foil shaver is great but the trimmer died in like 5 months
💯

Matt is a cute!! Anyways.....Lol- What about the Amazon TPOB SLIME 2??
Braun S9
Norwood 7. Will the smp still be noticeable if coloured to match skull shaver length or is a T-liner a better choice
I have the Pitbull Platinum Pro
Its a popular choice!
Skull shaver isnt good for afro kinky hair come on brah
TPOB has some new clippers that should be mentioned nice video man
There all great in
My opinion brother 😅
Great information!
If I have a hair transplant scar for you to cover up how short do I need to cut my hair?
Typically for best camouflage keeping the hair shaved is ideal. Sometimes clients can keep it longer and use their existing hair + smp to cover it
Are you in England?
Do you have to zero gap the andis t outliner or it comes short enough out the box?
Typically no need to 0 gap unless you want a very skin tight cut. Out of the box with a little oil will do the trick!

I think it's better you send emails through websites for messages like this. Just my opinion.
Got the Andis and don't make the mistake I did. They are awful and cut your head up bad. Seriously a $20 set is way better.
I did my head with an Andis T Outliner for years, no issues.
A new T outliner is probably very sharp. Adjust the blades with a screwdriver and oil it up and you should be good.
