Will this work if a straw hat is crushed??? I found one of my grandfathers old hats after going through his stuff after he passed. He wore this hat alot when i was younger and i have a few pics in it...i would love if i can restore it

Trevor is correct...STOP and take it to someone who knows what they are doing. The hat Trevor is wearing is the $145.00 Resistol Conroe (he switches hats if you pay attention to hit hat) and God forbid you ruin that expensive a hat by doing a bad job. It will look cheap.

I tried it here with a local made south american straw hat, and used an electric water heater to shape it... it works great and done in 10 mins
Seems like the high brim is the latest craze. I prefer the low brim look.
We all have different oppinions, i perfer high brim
I like the high brim mainly cause my culture snd most mexicans wear high brim so when you buy them you have no other choice than a high brim
