Rick, your attention to the most minor detail is AMAZING!! Like pinpointing the lack of one bacteria that makes an entire biosphere collapse! Love your vids bro!
I highly recommend AHT if they offer a class in your area. Took one back in April and they're coming back to my area in September so I immediately signed up. Rick is an excellent instructor and his AI's were great as well. Highly highly recommend.
Dude ... thanks for teatch us... I'm start to training the technic with my skills and became 100% better after some shots... God bless you and protect your team ... always
I have a question regarding the trigger finger movement. If I understand correctly the video suggests I should find the sear break and practice to stop my trigger finger right after the break, not pulling/pinging all the way to the bottom. However, I'm not sure how this would work well in a practical combat situation where the handgun I have may not be the one I practice with, and the sear break position is different, and all my muscle memory of my trigger finger just went out of the window. Wouldn't consistently pulling to the bottom be more versatile?
Hey... wait a moment! Are you placing your trigger finger inside the trigger guard before your support hand meets the pistol? Shouldn't you wait until, at least when the support hand's index finger touch the trigger guard?
Sooner rather than faster. That was his point you can work on speed but if I leave a min before you I’m already faster. He’s also saying once you have good form and posture and you pointed toward the target you place you finger on the trigger and that support hand is already on the way in one motion.
Its also about minimal human error if your going faster that increases the chances of an error if you follow the fundamentals your reducing. Same with the click bang he was talking about your trigger is going to have so many stops before the shot breaks, practice with your dry fires with your trigger and you’ll know exactly how many stops.
It applies to 1911, DA/SA & striker fired pistols. When you pull the trigger and your slide goes back to chamber a round, that's when you should reset and prep your trigger to the wall so when your iron sight or red dot is back on target you are ready to shoot another round and you have eliminated more of the human error by not letting the trigger go all the way forward and taking out the slack.
Just try to reset the trigger during recoil, and not after. So that you're at the wall ready to fire again BEFORE the gun has fully recovered from recoil. Of course you won't be able to outrun the slide, but you will be able to outrun your recoil control. This way you're able to instantly fire the moment the sight picture tells you "good to go" after the previous shot. Works on all semiauto platforms. Just make sure you're neither shortstroking (failing to reset) the trigger ("trigger freeze") nor resetting too aggresively or you will risk NDing the following shot over the target.
This will only work on heavy triggers but for comp triggers sub 2 lbs. and you put your finger on the trigger while your muzzle is not parallel to the ground this is extremely dangerous
@@tacticaltrioadventure5224 if you've got a better answer, feel free to stick with that, cuz I doubt the guy in the video is about to show up and dispell the curiosity. You have my 2 cents to fall back on if you want it.
Totally honest I think it’s like a programmed to use that language thing. Long ago I started reading a lot of philosophy and it connected so much in my head and I became obsessive over it. I then agreed with alot of what was fundamental about those books and started thinking in that philosophical way. Thusly started speaking and writing just as I saw and read. When I get into debating mindset my entire vocabulary changes. As if I’m writing my own philosophical book or speech. So long story short him using such technical language comes from a built in mindset. Kinda like a personality mask/change. Just as everyone puts on a cute baby voice when talking to a cute cat or dog, but for guns.
Many thanks for the feedback, absolutely appreciated and we will share it with the team As for the color differences we would like to explain that different materials used are subject to different lighting, so the colors vary due to that more than in reality. But indeed we are using different materials as well for those two pieces. As the production process and light reflection of the materials differ, there might be slight differences in the colors, but we are trying to keep them as close as possible.
why would you ever want to have your finger even near the trigger before you roughly point your gun towards where you're shooting at. like this you're going to sweep everything from your toes towards the bad guy, not even to speak what this haste can do to your awareness of stuff behind your target.
Might be to differentiate between left hand fingers and right hands fingers for the video - this way, we can see clearly how he's gripping with each hand
Every round is married to a lawyer?! Let's not blame the boogeyman for any of our negligence, how about every shot we fire and miss is married to an innocent person
“Every bullet is attached to a lawyer”. Then why would you “prep the trigger” before you are on target? I’d strongly disagree. Finger shouldn’t touch that trigger until your sights are on target generally…. Unless it’s hip shooting
Haha. You've never been in a gun fight. Everything is contextual. If a dude is 15 yard away or 4 yards away, prepping the trigger before you fully extend can help in taking shots sooner. Plenty of people who show how to shoot from retention and continue to shoot while extending, putting effecting shots on target. If you aren't confident with your firearm, just say so.
@Matt R No The "jerking"' is a kind of hanlding error. You should pull the trigger with equal speed, not to jerk it. If you are not practised you will hit low left.
@Matt R Blow? I dont know what does it mean in this sentence but there is a draw about the shooting errors. i.pinimg.com/originals/ed/00/82/ed0082052ad131b707c9f104e188f7ab.gif
Minor bitch point- to whoever does the editing; THE FUCKING MUSIC IS TOO FUCKING LOUD!!! I am NOT going to wear earpro to watch a video!!! That said, good content. You may need to go into more detail to explain the difference between sear reset and manufacture reset particularly because not all handguns follow the same design. OTOH a lot of guys really can't feel the many click points between touching the trigger and BANG.
Modern quality made firearms are very much good to go on dry firing. Not only is dry firing cheap and easy to do at any time, it’s a great way to hone in your skills every day without having to go to the range. I would very much recommend dry fire practice such as reloads, getting on target, and trigger control.
DOES ONE REALLY NEED TO DRESS WITH ALL THE GARB THIS GUY HAS ON TO SHOOT A PISTOL - PLAYING ARMY IS FOR CHILDREN, WE NEED NOT "DRESS TO IMPRESS" (LMAO!!!) JUST TO SHOOT A PISTOL - THANK YOU, AND GOOD DAY!!!!!!!

That Agency Arms Glock is eye candy. Had to rewatch to pay attention to the LEO :)
I have no idea what he's talking about and l love it!
He’s pretty much saying to pull the trigger on the reset and to not let it go all the way to mechanical reset cause there’s more room for human error.
The point about the fingerprint facing you is eye opening. I can't wait to get to a range to try that out!
Putting more finger on to the trigger I believe it helps to mitigate the movement of two joints and aids the movement of knuckle instead
Wow where are your training classes. I just stumbled on your series and doing this at work in my office... Great work!!
exelente instruccion muy ilustrativa gracias

Outstanding video, helped me with accuracy
Solid Info, no BS. Like the series.
Going to steal that “We the people” tattoo!!!
Outstanding
Great Sir. 🤜🏼🤛🏼
Very helpful video
Cool video
Perfect tactical 👍🤝
Are we using one eye or both?
What pistol and attachments you using.
I just got my sirt pistol for dry fire training
Lower the Music Volume a little bit

So what shirt 👕 is that ???
Holly, the guy at 7:00 on the right seems like a Green Beret xDD
As always Rick is extremely detailed at explaining so many needed fundamentals
Which Ja let is he wearing in this video?
Hi, it's Striker XT Gen.2 Combat Shirt: bit.ly/36jokW8 😎🤙
What type of pistol is that??
What pistol is this?
Rick my question is this does the this also work and the 1911 platform I love my 1911 and want to learn how to be able to use it properly
It applies to 1911, DA/SA & striker fired pistols. So trying to fire the follow up shot prior to the mechanical click and instead firing from when the sear resets? Do I have that right ?
Just let the trigger out all the way. Don't get bogged down with the point in which it resets. You won't be thinking about audible clicks.
Just try to reset the trigger during recoil, and not after. So that you're at the wall ready to fire again BEFORE the gun has fully recovered from recoil. This guy explains the best from my perspective. I would rather see written on him FBI though. Yea. Thanks for sharing knowledge!!
bot
Which gun he used
What does he mean by interrpted manner? He never seemed to explain it
just gun culture mr. coolguy useless jargon.
Yes
Great stuff but why the constant music in the back? I find it distracting.
So what’s the deal whith one glove only?
Tacticool ^^
Might just be for the video - this way, we can differentiate between left hand fingers and right hand fingers when we're studying his grip
🤔
Ok got it the glove is black the pistol is black yea for demonstration Purposes
@@tacticaltrioadventure5224 if you've got a better answer, feel free to stick with that, cuz I doubt the guy in the video is about to show up and dispell the curiosity. You have my 2 cents to fall back on if you want it.
What chest rig
Wow
We need some ifpro caps 🧢
It all sounds too pseudo complicated, I would have used a much more down to the earth language.

Yeah I have to agree. I don't think I'll be getting to the wall in the middle of my draw anytime soon, way too risky outside of a range.
You guys are using competition modified guns. Try teaching with guns that the average concealed carry jo has plz. But I must say I love your videos
Same shit applies. You don't need all that to control the firearm. Train with what you carry. Thats what they carry..
Why do you wear only 1 glove??
Better weapon control. Can mitigate human error more by have full feeling of the weapon instead of your glove getting in the way
No snags and more space for trigger finger. Left glove holds most pressure on pistol.
Might be to differentiate between left hand fingers and right hands fingers for the video - this way, we can see clearly how he's gripping with each hand
That's the Scarab, isn't it
Did someone say click-bang?! Don't tell JJ!
Dry Fire vs low+left :^)
Every round is married to a lawyer?! Let's not blame the boogeyman for any of our negligence, how about every shot we fire and miss is married to an innocent person
I like this but, it should be for more advanced people. Mistakes can happen here. Other than that, nice video.

Why did I read it tiger
Wow, from REAL pros doing training to videos to gomers. Please UFpro, what ever you did to get this guy, fix it!!!
So,..what store owner has ever told someone that a gun shoots low and left? Like, ever?

Omg it’s a GUN
Or a pistol if you want.
Not everything is a „weapon system“ ffs
The music in this series is terrible
Music too damm load !!!!!!
Don’t forget to breathe
I thought it was bad to dry fire?
Not at all. Unless it's a bow lol
It's ok with snap caps.
