My husband is military. You’re basically trained to be an instructor at the get, well at least in special operations jobs. And thats part of the selection. Or at least one of the human values. The MTS or master training specialist qualification that military get is super huge for contractor/government jobs. I was a recruiter for a bit. Mts, e5 or above, advance tech fields, and usmapps regardless of clearance gets you so many opportunities. Even guys that got kicked out of military but had those qualifications were put on top of list.
This was done at the local cqb airsoft field - Project N1. It’s near Los Angeles California. It’s a great shoot house, and the community there is competitive if anyone is interested in doing force on force.
Solid work. Or different school of thought. Have long coverage move further past the door and 1 man combat clear from outside then make entry after assessment from outside. Different tactic
I don't like the crossing paths stuff either because it takes a gun out of the mix for a second, and one guy having to look back for a signal isn't optimal either
I think in situations with more man power, you absolutely can move long as typically you'll have at least another 4 man behind you, depending on how deep into that structure you are. A peek for situational awareness is ok, but when you're forced to divert into an open room, you need that last man close.
your stock us QD mounted on the wrong side, you guys were WAY too close together while entering the first room once that door opened team leader was for sure getting shot because he couldn't back up after doing the open. Whoever opens needs to be able step out of the way, your security being 2" behind you WILL jam you up, especially in gear like that. p.s. Your flag is shiny, your slings re all set up in a way where you could never negotiate a real sized door without chocking yourself, along with too many other mistakes to count or care about enough to list here. Good video if you want an example of dudes training for airsoft, and how you should train (finding and correcting your mistakes) but you should maybe wait until you've ironed those things out to make a video? p.s. I’m pretty sure most of these tactics are now outdated, I'm not expert though. ADD: No, you DO NOT need to be fast, you need to move at the speed you can process info, which isn't very fast in high stress scenarios. That advice will get you killed, don't run into a room you haven't seen unless you absolutely need to, you're always safer in the spot you've already cleared (i.e., where you're breaching the door from.
I always felt like stairways were more dangerous but it's situational dependent. Also, maybe I just got so lazy I hate climbing stairways that much LOL.
does anyone know why they put the gun straight up in the air and then lower it as they go into the doorway? Is the gun too long to fit if they kept holding it forward?
clowns! why do you enter the room and leave the corridor without attention? Who controls the corridor? You enter the room one by one, you are killed by the bad guy behind the first one!

Think before you act and don’t get sucked in by all the “cool stuff” they will dangle in front of you. Obviously your decision, just think it through.
These tactics are great for the middle east where walls are 1 foot thick mud. Here drywall walls are not cover. Concealment but not cover. Keep in mind most entry teams utilize k9
What if you all flow into a room and then you need everyone to clear another open door in the same room?Do you keep the first open door open or do you close it to give yourselves a chance?I don't know if i wrote my question well enough for my question to correctly pass onward
If I got what you are saying correctly. It all depends on where the open door is in the room. First you call it out, open door and that could dictate how far some people enter the room. Could be a limited penetration. Then flow into another stack as like normal. The number 1 will dictate entry. Depending on your team, someone might still be doing security as you work that door
4 men shouldnt take more than 2 connected rooms otherweise u have to check back permanently. and that is huge: if u are sure the area where u come from is safe, no back is needed. if u cant be sure, u must have a back...thats the way i know
Having spent much of my life taking down bad guys for a living with hundreds of warrants served as a police officer, and dozens of missions in the military, I have to say, this is the worst CQB method I have ever seen. Cause if that's true you didn't learn much of anything as military or leo.
@aaronfilipowich3877 If you understood anything about military service in the U.S., you would know that recruitment contracts often have a reserve requirement at the end of an active contract (i.e., 6 +2), and some stay much longer in the reserves, so yes, a person can be serving high risk warrants all month, and then train one weekend a month and then be deployed for a few months out of the year to some place to train, advise, and "support" a host country. And here's a big reveal that no one saw coming, I am retired from hero work and now live in the sunshine state, or maybe I'm not. It's classified. Lol. As for this bullshit about "Oh, the enemy can just go to some civilian training facility to learn the same stuff." Yeah, my exact point. And who is running it? Jokers who got out of our military and have no other skills, and so they run youtube channels and civilian training to every Tom, Dick, and Harry. Ever hear of the Ramadi snipers? Not that totally made up story about Chris Kyle, but the real one. It was actually a team of snipers. After one team was finally captured and "debriefed," their "den" was raided, and guess what was found as their primary training manual that took civilian nobodies and turned them into lethal killers? Major John Plaster's book "The Ultimate Sniper" which is essentially a simplified training manual with an entire career of information in it on everything from range finding, stalking, MOA, and ballistic specs for different cartridges and weapons. To keep from muzzling forward team memebers when making entry and creates clear path of muzzle travel to hit your sector without flagging your members
So you don’t flag your guys.
Until bullets start flying and everyone is flagging everyone!!! Flagging is so trendy
You also don't want to expose any part of you or your equipment in door entry alerting your presence.
