The scariest part is they never show real speed of their CQB....Unit/Dev clear so goddamn fast it's straight out of a movie. Seems every person getting to the Unit/Dev the first thing they are shocked by is how incredibly fast everyone moves.

Experiences a bit different, body mechanics a bit different... strengths a bit different... The one thing about CQB that worries me the most is the fact walls are not your friend, yes they can conceal you but every sound you make can give up your position and if dude on the inside of the room knows boolets go through walls you can get fucked without even seeing who’s in the room, so be weary of that too also use walls to your advantage if you have to as well. Obviously it depends on the material of the wall but typical drywall and 2x4s most boollets are going right through especially if it’s a bunch of boollets

Serious question, because I genuinely have no clue, but what would be the reasoning for the breacher just to crack the door open first, rather than wide open? In my mind, I'm thinking if perp notices the door being cracked open, he can get himself in a defensive position, and would be hidden from sight initially. Flinging the door open would expose and surprise, right? Great to see Kyle sharing hard earned knowledge to common folks.

I think in the case of the video, cracking the door was just an example of what to do with a door that you arrive to which is cracked. In most cases, the door would be opened by the 2 man quickly and completely.

Just asking but wouldn’t cracking the door to get a peak first alert the bad guy as opposed to just making entry quickly ?

You are thinking too much into it, they are not going to crack the door and stand there to look. He is talking about by the time the door is cracked he has already gotten a snapshot and started to map the room BEFORE he enters. He is breaking it down into digestable chunks otherwise he would be moving so fast you wouldn't be able to tell what the hell is going on.
