But he turned it on them at the last moment, and left them with a video tape showing what true courage looks like. He defeated his enemies, even in death. For that, he is a certified legend.

“I’ll show you how an Italian dies!”
I am sure his family, and the entire nation of Italy, are still rightly mourning him. The loss of a loved one is irreplaceable. The loss of a countryman is beyond tragic. But, as evidenced by his courage in the face of evil, he was a man of honor. While his loved ones understandably grieve his loss, they should be honored to share blood and have shared their lives with such a hero.
“It is foolish and wrong to mourn the men who died. Rather, we should thank God that such men lived.”- George Patton

It must feel amazing to see the light in all the innocent eyes they save when they rescue them. Must make taking out the bad guys feel even better. Im sure that little girl or boy or family they save each and every day from evil can easily fill ones heart with love just from the pure joy they bring to those they rescue. Thank you all of you who fight on our behalf to keep us safe and free!!! Honestly, I feel like I'm being trained up to be a Delta Force Warrior as a 66 year old woman. The battle I'm prepping for is a spiritual one. I'm fighting a foe who is invisible, is a liar, a sneak and had 1000's of years of practice on destroying peoples lives. I'm learning how to pray, how to use the name of Jesus, scripture and the authority God has given to those who give their hearts and lives to Christ. Yep, the same Christ who died naked on a cross in front of all humanity and then rose from the dead to crush that liar satan. I haven't understood the war. I am beginning to now....

All these spec operators, Delta, Seals, Force recon, JSOC, MARSOC, etc are the best of the best. I worked in Laos back during the Vietnam unpleasantness, I was chosen to work with 3 RT's, back then Delta wasn't born yet but Chargin Charley set up "Project Delta to augment the CCN, CCC and CCS teams. I flew these incredible people in on insertions, dropped them and with God's will, picked them up again days or weeks later. Many never arrived for exfil. These people are the finest warriors in the world! 22 SAS can suck it! Of course, it's all different today, better equipment, training, mission. One thing will never change. Our boys are the best! God speed to you all!
