The military is the biggest scam. Literally the elites control the world. These countries are faking hating each other. The wars aren't fake, but they are simply set up, they aren't happening for real, they're just doing them to do them. They don't actually hate each other because they all agree to control us. It's us vs them. Not country vs country

Given the massive power and might of the U.S. military, it's unforgivably tragic that any member should find themselves alone and isolated in any situation. I feel you and I get why many would think so when the whole US military is as powerful as it is, but all too often it is bureaucracy and budgetary/logistical reasons that keeps that from being the case. Unless an operation is happening at a specific time and place in which they are actually expecting combat to take place, the amount of effort and money it takes to transfer/maintain all of those said resources to be waiting on standby over there for every operation just isn’t always going to be there; this is especially so when AFRICOM operations weren’t as high of a priority at the time compared to other places. From what I understand, this was originally supposed to be more of a diplomatic mission to establish good relations and gain intel while training with local partner forces (very routine mission for SF). Unfortunately, they just weren’t expecting such a large contingent of fighters to be waiting in ambush for them on their way back. The ambushers knew they would be arriving beforehand and had plenty of time to plan their coordinated ambush. Nonetheless it is really unfortunate that this happened, and I do agree with your sentiments in wishing that they had more resources to support them on-hand that day. But situations similar to this happen more often than people realize; it’s just that when it happens as bad as this on a single operation that the public ever learns about it because multiple grieving families from the same unit learn about it at once so the media picks up on that.

This is not an accurate telling of what went down. It turned into an absolute clusterfuck. Look up 'Niger Ambush' by the channel Stars And Stripes and it will give you a play-by-play telling, with satellite recreation and the actual, unblurred video, and you'll see what a desperate and terrifying situation they were put in. They were first failed by their own government for doing this mission in the first place when there was intel that this would absolutely happen if they stayed and had 'tea time' with the Elders (which gave the enemy time to set up), and they were absolutely betrayed again by the Nigerians with them who all sped off in a panic when the rounds began to pop off, leaving only the Americans exposed and alone with nothing but their rifles and a normal, civilian car that had no armor. They literally had zero cover. A civilian car can't stop a single bullet, it will shred right through. They had no chance in hell, they were dead 10 times over. I feel so sorry for them. I watched the original, unedited footage of the helmet cam that was released by ISIS as a propaganda piece, and I'll never forget how scared they were before they died. I knew a Green Beret who served decades longer than I, a team sergeant, who would refuse some missions in Afghanistan if he knew from his experience that his guys lives were unnecessarily at risk given the circumstances and the objective. It was legally risky sometimes but he never got court martialed. He had learned from sad experience that none of his guys lives were worth losing for some of the bs missions they would be assigned by oftentimes newer higher level officers trying to make their mark using the elite teams. We bleed just as easily as an untrained jihadi.

As a Spaniard, this event reminded me of what the Secret Agents (CNI) of Spain experienced. The event is called ¨Latifiya Ambush¨ where 7 Spanish secret agents died, being poorly planned not allowing them to wear bulletproof vests or automatic weapons. Their bodies were beaten (so much that they were unrecognizable), and many hours passed before they could be recovered. Rest in peace.

LOL 🤡 freedom? The US military hasn't bought a single War for our freedom since like WWII. Explain to me how Niger is a threat to the United States? I cannot believe how easy it is for Americans to support sending our military to get killed and to kill people in another country that didn't attack us, and claim it's for our freedom. Americans are stupid as hell. The oil Wars have nothing to do with freedom.
With respect to how you are feeling, this has to do neither with the country nor the freedoms. All of this goes back to invasion of Iraq, in March of 2003, which people now know it was based on false claims.
The fact they also did it like a Call of Duty campaign mission walking behind the car like that. Maybe if there were 5 other vehicles doing the same thing, but its best to break contact, let them give chase, call air support. Be ready to get no air support and running till out of fuel
I had the unfortunate privilege, but also the honor of witnessing the full version of this video. These were some of the finest trained warriors of our nation. And despite all that, they were overwhelmed by just sheer weight of numbers, and poorly aimed gunfire. And I truly mean no disrespect. When this tragedy happened in SOCFWD-CA (Central Africa), I was deployed with SOCFWD-EA (Somalia) in a leadership role (vague on purpose). Months prior I had spoken to SOCAFRICA leadership (and above) about my lack of confidence in CA support, but was repeatedly told to mind my own AOR to the point with threatening to re-deploy me back CONUS. My CA counterpart wasn't even in Africa, but "deployed" to Stuttgart and 87% oblivious. I know because I pre-deployment trained with them and we had weekly TELCONs while deployed.

God bless all of you and the folks who remind us, with videos such as this, of what our forces do for us and for our allies.
Rest In Peace!
Everyone must read War is a Racket by Marine Major General Smedley Butler.
This is a propaganda channel. They don't care about truth.
stfv.
This story doesn't get enough attention
I come from an Army family and I felt this in my soul. May the fallen rest in peace.
🦾
Let down by the Ruperts. Why am I not suprised? 😤
Absolute bravery from these fallen soldiers. I salute you.
Man, you can feel fear even in the thumbnail. As my mentor said "War is dirty".
I saw the unblurred version from a random kid that sent it in one of the meme channels of a discord server. It was honestly hard to watch. Rest in peace to these fallen soldiers.
Then this happened to our SF brothers. My post-deployment AAR included all this and I was ordered to re-write it because it would "needlessly involve IG for unfound accusations".
I was just writing about my deployment to Somalia and I said the same for what purpose? there is a lack of human integrity the basic element of integrity regardless of the religion in CA its a cold place and history has been written that very little to zero impact can be made in this region what a waste I am sorry to say but why would we continue to risk lives and invest in the security of a region like CA how does this serve NATO, These young men lost their lives and nothing changed this seems to be a common theme . Thanks for your service
@@charlesscott9096 Because for one, NATO is full of shit. And secondly, these old generals are just as dangerous as politicians if not more dangerous. They complain about budgets but will risk the lives of soldiers who cost millions just to train. They have no problem justifying the loss of life over equipment and money. Africa is fucked overall, always has been and always will be. The only reason they abuse American SOF is to babysit Nato’s assets for other countries and their resources. And to further aid and influence so the CIA’s hand picked leaders can buy time as a show of confidence for the people. Any general who sends in a SOF unit without proper support or air coverage should be asked to resign, because its beyond reckless. These soldiers are not plentiful and less and less are recruited each year and you have less career servicemen then ever before. Africa is one of the worst areas of operations, and people dont even realize whats happening over there. We need to stop killing ourselves for underdeveloped nations who cant even grasp simple technologies or agriculture in the year 2023. Everyone else figured it out centuries before them. Leave that whole region of wasteland alone.
@@charlesscott9096 How did the war in Irak or Afganistan served NATO? In Kosovo they slaughtered people just for being the wrong religion. In Ukraine they slaughtered civilians for being the wrong side of a line on a map. If you are trying to find purpose and decency in war, you are going to have to go back to history books where the old wars are glorified and presented as virtuous.
@@simz04 I can not Speak to places I have not experienced, I am not going to be drawn out into justifying my opinion, I will say that I have a son who is a photo Journalist who Has been to Iraq and Afghanistan, Iran, and many many other places the only place I asked him please do not go to Somalia, I have lived all over the earth I am writing from Spanish town Jamaica now, I was living and working in Colombia before, Here, worked in Sinaloa Mexico and Egypt, Syria before the War I would never go back to CA, my son did go and he captured some great images but had to hire a security detail, it is a different place a very cold place its not a race thing if that is what people are thinking I have not lived but 2 years of the last 10 in Canada its a Dangerous and unforgiving place I could recount things here but why its an opinion based on my life experience and how does that take away from anything you said here ? the last thing I said was wasting the lives of our young men has become a common theme,
I hope you kept the original report and post it to the appropriate people at a suitable time
It’s hard for me to watch shit like this. Makes me cry. These guys are REAL heroes. May God bless all our good soldiers & veterans and their families.. Including my father who fought in Saigon. I miss you so much Pop!!! 🫡💪💯
Never hearing of this ambush until now, my first response is God bless the men that lost their lives, and their families. I can’t imagine the heartbreak they must feel. Please, someone tell me that we went back in there “the right way”, and got some pay pack on these bastards. In no way should the enemy be allowed to get away with this without serious consequences.. If not I’m beyond pissed off. 😡
Oh, the US government always sets their warriors up for slaughter with no pay back.
Look into the USS Liberty if you want to be outraged.
Immoral, unconstitutional. Shame on the military industrial complex.
Where in the hell were the Apaches and Blackhawks I get tired of these types of stories where the men going to do their job and there's never no backup for them this should never happen God please take good care of these courageous men

@@9-five well it was clandestine ops so those operation have no support since they aren’t supposed to be there.
Valhalla take care of these boys here. Absolute warriors, my heart aches for them and the families.
God bless these hero’s. Their families should never have to experience financial hardship. Prayers to all involved.
Being a military family also this brakes my heart deeply.😢😢😢 wow god bless fallen and all are brave ones still in the fight.
The commander who ordered the operation should be held accountable, sending your troops with inferior firepower, to capture a heavily armed isis leader he just sent them to their death, RIP to the fallen soldiers.
That will NEVER happen.
The problem is the lack of information. I guess that they didn’t know that they would be over 100 isis in the area ?
It was done on purpose so some of the best european warriors would be killed.
@@MikeBrown-go1pc Say what?
He might be going to jail soon. And he did lose his job.
Rest In Eternal Peace. We thank you for your service.
Major respects to all involved. And major condolences to those lost. God bless all ❤
