    This is a really effective way to demonstrate the value of trigger preparation. Great communication from the instructor. Keep the high quality videos up.

    I’ve always equated “reset during recoil” as _proper_ follow-through, which is imperative to trigger control fundamentals. Something I teach in all of my shooting classes. Using SIRT training pistols it is very easy to demonstrate and practice the mechanics, following up with live fire practical application.
    Another great video guys!

    Great content with great production! Even the music and lighting are top-notch on these series! It's a trip seeing Mike just shoot vs teach and explain too! Finally, a video that really breaks trigger manips/control down clearly.

    So nice to see a video here covering trigger control, which is one of the basics to pistolcraft and vital to shooting accuracy. When I first started shooting as a kid, I couldn’t hit a thing until I learned the concept from someone at the range. That certainly helped me shoot tighter groups consistently.

    Well this was certainly an awesome video! As a decent shooter that still has a lot to learn, this video gave me some good drills to do during my practice. I’m not LEO or military. I’m just simply a concealed carry citizen that wants to be very proficient and effective with my weapon. To be the best protector of my family as a I can while always keeping innocent people around me safe by eliminating any mistakes by training, doing drills and practice as often as I can.

      😉arguing with the wife ,explaining the need for larping around.....why don't you just invest your money in training,in ammunition?...jeans and shirt is just as cool when you punch holes consistently in your target while the Gucci gear looks just as stupid if your target is peppered all over

    for someone who was never fired a gun, what exactly does he mean with the "wall"?

    • @Instananners
      @Instananners 3 года назад +3

      There’s a point in pulling a trigger where you’ll get the most resistance (the wall), and once you put a little more effort into your trigger press, it’ll engage

  • @dravenmcgee3188

    So the only problem I can see with this is if your a new shooter and even then only at the 4th part. The reset with recoil. Cause if a newer shooter with less experience is trying to do that in theory they could discharge the firearm before they could re-establish their site picture. Thus meaning they wouldn't know what they shot. Just my 2 cents. All around great advice tho

    I see many americans shoot at very short distances. Also at my shooting range i see hardly anyone going beyond 10 yards or so. Any reason for that?

    • @defcon7653
      @defcon7653 Год назад

      Are the shooters hardly ever going beyond 10 yards mostly using pistols?
      If so, then since pistols are primarily defensive armaments, they could be carriers practicing for the most likely scenario where they'll need to use their firearms.
      Most self-defense shootings in the U.S. (such as when you're out and about carrying concealed) tend to happen at very short distances, meaning it's unlikely you'll need to shoot someone in self-defense from more than about 10 yards away. Not that it doesn't happen, it's just not that common.
