Lots of people are asking what the accessory is in front of the eotech. It is a flip up lens which allows for a 2nd zero to be set up. Need to unexpectedly shoot a much further distance than is feasible/reliable given your optic's zero? Flip up this device and now you have an additional/different aiming point. This 2nd zero would have to be set up in advance of course. Most likely the specific make and model is 'Alpha TARAC' (older model that slips up from flat, the current model at the time of this comment is more like the unity magnifier mount which moves a cylinder-shaped optic lower or higher).
Thanks for another great video. Incredible content. I am sure this has been asked before but I couldn't find anything in the comments.......What foregrip is this you are using?
@@KYO69 Looks to be the UF Pro Striker X, their latest. Don't have this one, but I had the older version, the Striker XT. Great for training or duty use, if your regulations allow it. Super mobile yet extremely durable. It's expensive though, but if you're looking for quality pants that can take a beating, I'd say they're worth the money.

Well this is how they thought me to zero... Kneel down, hold the gun tight, don't hold your breath, keep the front post in the center both laterally and vertically, shoot three rounds, walk up to the target, find your offset by the dialation between center of target and the center of the triangle of your landed three shots, get back to your firing position, no you don't get to change the alignment of the iron sight you good for nothing two pieces conscript, you know your offset now, aim accordingly, if you score less than sixty five out of these ten rounds there will be no leaves on the weekend and additional night watch shifts for you, now start shooting we don't have the entire day... funny thing is, it works that way...
With AR platform, you must check mag and utilize forward assist (even forward assists sometime don't work and don't do their job), with AK platform it's simple, your charging handle is your forward assist and inserting mag doesn't require checking if mag is seated.
This is a great example of understanding what works for you, and don't just change things up because it's what they do there days. Thank you!
Love this detailed but crystal clear explanation.
Sounds ridiculous and complicated to me.
This is value information and input from an experienced real pro, not from a pretentious wannabe. Excellent! As usual 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

He’s acting like we wouldn’t notice it. 😆
It’s an Alpha TARAC from TacomHQ. Long story short it allows you to shoot longer range targets without needing to hold over.
