Dangit! Thought I'd be all cool and notice this first...and not so much. Congrats either way! Knew that dude on the Season 3 intro screen looked familar...
The way this guy holds his forehand grips is awesome. I hope when using operator foregrip (the shortest one) you get to hold your weapon the way ronin does. And places the operator foregrip a little bit more to the front like his carbine. As for the 2 other grips, the placement and holding is fine for me. Yeah im so after aesthetics of the gun in cod than the stats haha
What's interesting though is how often people with extensive combat experience have conflicting ideas of what works best. Whether it's what kind of foregrip, and where to place it, or how long to extend your stock, or clearing techniques, etc... one Green Beret will be saying something one day, a SEALs] says something different the next, a Ranger contradicts both of them, and then a SWAT officer has an entirely different opinion. From what I've learned, just do what works best for you. Spend a lot of time with your weapon so you can get comfortable with it, and buy lots of ammo to train with.

I was in Vietnam 67/68, I and most of the people in my outfit never used a sling. We didn't have to search houses, other than a hooch. Which was made from very light material. So we didn't have to transition from one shoulder to the other. Most our people felt that a sling got in the way. We wanted that weapon in our hand all the time. Different strokes for different folks as the saying goes. Also different time.
True, however he was SF, which means tight indoor room clearing and quick in and out missions, Vietnam were jungles and small villages, every war has different combat manipulations. Even the first Frogmen in Vietnam are VASTLY different now, they dont wear Levi's and M60's, now its all multicam and MK18s.
I couldn't Imagine going on patrol or holding my gun without a sling for longer then a few hours must of sucked hauling those m16s around without one lol.
when I went thru BCT, we were taught to hold the rifle at various points depending on situation...my DS said he didn't care how high speed or strong you were, carrying a rifle for extended periods of time will fatigue anyone...i.e. long engagements or patrols, thus he trained us to be confident with gripping our weapon with a c-clamp, mid barrel, and the mag well grip...I'm trying to master driving that gun the way you do big Tu...I have a Maxim Defense CCS stock and I've beat my chin up a bit practicing presenting from the high ready

I used to be in a special force in Nigerian navy ( NNSBS Nigerian navy special boat service). We went to the United States and UK for training but never got this types of training and information. I was shocked and also upset how I thought the best soldiers in my country just don't know how to handle rifles and yeah I got a contract to teach the special forces back home some skills I learnt. I'm an American now and I hope we all see this videos and use it for good purpose and protect ourselves well.

Thank you sir. As a man and a soldier you are an inspiration to us all. 🇺🇸
His skill and training is impeccable….. I have such a long long way to go and so much to learn. Damn.
Thank you for your service
He needs to become a Marines course coordinator. Imagine how much more efficient they'll be when they have the literal gold this man has accumulated through years of experience. Like every video he puts, in so little time, he teaches so much. It's one of those courses you will pay for no matter what, I am a guy who believes education should be free, but for some courses I am super fine with paying, this is one of them.
With his training and the music in background I felt like a badass going to war
war isnt badass or heroic, its just sad and leaves broken people
@@naturesquad9174 War is inevitable
I used to be in a special force in Nigerian navy ( NNSBS Nigerian navy special boat service). We went to the United States and UK for training but never got this types of training and information. When I left the force, I relocated to Seattle and went for some training in Texas and learnt a lot from some ex special forces guys there. I was shocked and also upset how I thought the best soldiers in my country just don't know how to handle rifles and yeah I got a contract to teach the special forces back home some skills I learnt. I'm an American now and I hope we all see this videos and use it for good purpose and protect ourselves well.
First off, THANK YOU for your service sir! Secondly, I really wish I could learn from you. This was a great video!
Now we all know who he is talking to.
Infinity ward devs
9:20 he has done those transitions a thousand times
Facts I seen that too all that shit was smooth and precise asf
He's mastered his craft, he is great, love listening to him!
This is great info. I like the way he presents stuff, and I like that he calls back to the ways people used to do things, and how they learned different. Plus he makes good example points, like stowing your sling.
Thank you for passing along you years of wisdom. Thank you for you service.
I don't even own a rifle yet and I'd travel to take classes from this man
One of thee best rifle setup videos I have seen. Thanks.
Hell yeah, I love my VTac sling! Best sling for me in Afghanistan, they issued us that shitty barely adjustable BlueGear sling, trained with it and realized quick I needed to get my shit to make it work while we are downrange. Thanks for the insight brother.
I just learned so much from your instruction. Thank you for your service and knowledge!
Amazing information. Great to see a person dedicated to doing things precise and with a purpose.
I need to train with you sensei I pray one-day I will. Thank you for posting these videos I have learned so much from you already!!!
I bought you in Modern Warfare the Ronin Skin🔥🤯I love it
“Your sling is a holster for your rifle” 👍. Simple (and important) as that! You wouldn’t carry a pistol without a holster. Good stuff.
9:17 that was a pretty interesting move and it brought more in deph knowledge about rifle slings, so keep up the good work and although I don't know shit about guns/weapon handling, I like to watch videos like these for both educational and entertainment purposes
I like how you explain man..simple yet detailed..easy to undesrtand even for a newbie.. keep sharing man..you speak like a boss!!
