    available at: ronin-tactics....
    Primary Instructor- Tu Lam (Former- Special Forces Green Beret) 23 yrs
    Rōnin “Close Quarters” Combat Rifle Course (2 HRS ONLINE Training) is broken down into 11 Chapters. This training module was filmed at a Ronin Tactics “Combat Rifle” Couse taught to students at the Sig Sauer Academy, Epping, NH (OCT 8, 2021). These chapters provide blocks of instructions building on the fundamentals required to process information and effectively shoot and fight in a close quarter’s gunfight. This training module will cover mindset, ballistics, choosing kit, target identification, AR theory, combat marksmanship, proper weapons manipulation, movement in a gunfight and shooting under stress. This course will also work on the specific skills required to effectively move and shoot. “In a close quarter’s gunfight, time is lost because the distance to threat is now collapsed -understand the game of angles, tactics, and gunfighting needed to dominate in a close quarters gunfight.” -浪人

    Ronin's methodology is almost poetic. He connects everything together, every small decision is part of an overarching system of logic, and an almost spiritual approach to gunfighting. This dude is a legit f-ing modern day samurai.

    These sessions are true eye openers from the psychological & tactical perspective. I do have active duty training from back in the day, but the very nature of our environment & mental awareness has changed. As I teach my son how to use his first shotgun & PA-15 I will have him watch these. So it's not just the old-man telling him simply from my experiences. Your commentary about martial-arts resonated; we civilians who maintain our 2nd Amendment for it's intended purpose need to understand everything that you are teaching and develop a solid foundation of discipline. I honor your service, love for what you do; teaching us to be exact and precise.

    The gun enthusiast in me learning how you guys work through problems or the tactics used in order to set yourself up for success is extremely interesting to me. Being an average person chances of me needing to use any of this info is very slim but like they say "Knowledge is power"... So making up drills or just trying to be proficient with my firearms and applying parts of what you're talking about to things I could actually face in my life like a home invasion or self defense situation is extremely valuable. Good stuff brother and thanks for all you do!!!

    • @vincec.202
      @vincec.202 3 года назад +2

      @David B Modern tactics are simply variations on what has always been true. There's multiple tactics that work...sometimes. There's no tactic that works...all the time. That's why it's imperative to learn how to adapt. The threat might be the same a lot of the times, but the individuals actively posing it are always different. There's limitless components that are environmental, psychological, and technical, and they all require a countermeasure to overcome it. "Modern", or newly adapted tactics are great and vital, but the basics and the universal truths should be practiced with the same importance.

I would always naturally pivot and smoothly side shuffle to find angles in more complex shoothouses (footwork i learned from wrestling/KB/Boxing).
      Higher thought it was stupid and would rag on me for it. Now, almost ten years later, i see this Ronin stuff and laugh my ass off cause I was right and my loud mouth pussy ass puerto rican gunny was wrong 😂 he just hated mexicans i think but its all good.

      @bodymanruss518, He sure does! One component of the Green Beret skill-set is the ability to effectively train others, typically indigenous warriors. For Tu, today it’s swat teams.

    Solid content. While stationed in Vicenza (late 80s, early 90s) I remember being taught to thrust the weapon like a spear point towards the enemy while assuming firing position in CQB. My skills are so rusty. 😆
