Thanks for the very detailed joining portion of the video. I seem to go wrong at that part. I will be saving this video for reference!

I’ve found adding a binding with fusible thread is a game changer! I prefer using my serger, using the fusible thread in the lower looper. The additional thread makes a better bond and the upper looper and needle thread provide structure. I stitch down the binding from the front with my sewing.

I have watched so many videos on ending the binding and it never came out right because I didn't understand the directions. You have made it SO clear and now the binding ends perfectly. Thank you so much!

THANK YOU for doing this tutorial!! I just purchased a GO Big...You have already taught me more about cutting with the dies than anyone else has...I LOVE your step-by-step method. I'm a visual learner so your way of teaching is a HUGE help! Oh...I'm 72 and a newbie to quilt making. You have also inspired me to make hubby's shirts, again. It's been years!
    hugs

Wonderful video and filled with so many
great tips! I have some of that thread I purchased years ago for appliqué work so your review was much appreciated. I will be sure not to use it in this application. I just subscribed to your channel. Glad I found you!

Using a serger when using fusible thread is a game changer! Use 4 thread overlock stitch with fusible thread in lower looper. Lots more surface area of fusible so better bond.

Loved the video. I always use my 2 1/2” die to cut my binding. I never cut the ends but that would make it easier. I hope to try this method I was confused on how you cut the ends of the strips. I’m going to have to practice this since you said not to cut both ends at the same time. Love your channel and look forward to seeing more tutorials.

There is also a 2 1/2” strip cutter that will fit in the Go!Baby/Go!Me (die #55014)

Do you think I need to purchase the die catcher for the GO Big cutter? The binding strip die is so big.

It’s certainly not required, but I find it very useful.

My accuquilt leaves spots uncut even with a new die. What am I doing wrong?

Is your cutting mat getting worn out? That can certainly cause some threads not getting cut.

It is brand new. This actually happened the first time I used right out of the package.
