Hey Chris I really like the longer format of this video. You’ve done a great job explaining and showing in detail how this project is done. The editing you’ve done is really good.

I’m doing one now and it’s definitely a hard design to do. I love your red background on this it’s perfect. I’m doing a table runner and I’ll send you a picture when I’m done. Keep your fingers crossed I can’t believe how much you got to pin. But it looks so much better when you pin. 😅

That bias binding on accuquilt rocked! I have to try that. Red would not be a color i would think of but i love your color choices all the way around. Double wedding ring is my favorite pattern

I have learned so much from your video, & have been quilting for 30 years……. I have never made a wedding ring quilt, but with your help, I’m going to tackle it! I too have a aqu quilt cutter , but don’t have those dies, but will be purchasing them.$$$$ Anyway thank you , you give great instructions. Happy Thanksgiving

Boy am I glad I saw this video ! I did a AccuQuilt DWR using the GO! die set also. I did some crumb arcs and some just scrappy. love how it turned out but was trying to find out how to straighten the edges so I could put a border around it - can't find a video on that. Any ideas? Really though, I have a cutie frame with a Q15pro. I'm considering doing it the way you did.... mmm scary for me .

Did you baste the side edges as you rolled the quilt? Or did you totally float the top? Also, thank you so much for demonstrating how to make bias binding with the strip die.

I did baste the edges in sections as I advanced the quilt.

Beautiful! How was the learning curve with this long arm set up?

Not too bad, but I did have another longarm before this, and rented time on a longarm at a quilt shop (where I got a lesson on how to use a longarm)

@@rosecityoriginals Renting a machine! WOW! I’ll have to check in my area. That’s a great idea! Thank you!

The easiest way to make bias binding for me is continuous bias binding method. It’s faster, neater and the fewest seams I’ve found. But I got rid of my Accuquilt. The fraying from the die cutting was just unacceptable and wasteful to me - I was losing 1/2” from the edge no matter how carefully I lined up the grain to the blades, and the fussing and constant recutting was so much longer than just cutting with my rotary blade and scissors. Plus all the wasted, unusable even as scrap cuts.
