- Looped Alastair Gibson’s videos where he talks about various Chinese antiques/artwork/objects. Edited out the super harsh intro/outro music (horrendous music!) and cut out the very annoying pop-up sounds throughout the video. Alastair has a great voice for ASMR. Hope you enjoy!

Have been watching the small set of Alastair antique videos for years now because of the ASMR. Every time I do - I'm laying down with my finger uncomfortably hovering over the the buffer-bar to skip over the horrendous chimes. I've been tempted on more than one occasion to cut and edit them myself - you've done a great service here!! Cheers!

Pretty sure they are supposed to represent the 5 elements in Chinese philosophy. Wood, fire, earth, metal and water. Im probably wrong, but it’s the only significance of the number 5 I could think of.

@@johnmartinez7440 cows, chickens, pigs, sheep, they aren't endangered and they're raised to be killed. As long as they're kept in humane conditions, it's just a fact of life that we need protein and they're a great source of it. Elephants and rhinos are endangered and they are wild but killed. There is a difference

There's an annoyong chime after each of his statements to highlight a fact about the art. This channel edited them out....which is pretty damn dope.

Extraordinarily irritating background music which distracts from asmr experience
Yep- I did the best I could but they have the worst sounds on that video. I removed the bell chime during every fact but the background music remains. Sucks

It’s because the original video has loud/jarring/non-asmr sounds occur at those points
This would be a great video if it wasn’t cut in a way that makes the gentleman talking about antiques seem like he’s not completing his sentences and skipping all around. It makes it seem like he can’t make a complete thought and is super distracting and makes the video all around less relaxing
watch the original video (link in description)... there is a HORRIBLE bell sound that comes up with each factoid. Sorry it didn't work for ya
I went to the original links and watched them all. The windchime sounds during the video didn't detract IMO, but that intro/outro music was AWFUL (even if you're NOT watching for ASMR).

Sorry, I don't have the original edit of this video- I can only take what they have published on RUclips. The original video has some of the worst bell sounds OF ALL TIME.
Why do you keep cutting him off mid-sentence? It's so annoying.
These videos were the hardest to edit. The original audio has alot of obstacles. I encourage you to watch the original clips to see what I had to work with. It's not great.. But it's better than nothing. Not my best work
