Wonderful video. I ordered a kit. I have never done cloissone before and look forward to trying it. I had a few questions.
Once you mix the sand with the temporary glue solution and water, how long is it good for? If, say, I can only work on this piece over the course of several weekends (instead of over several hours or several days) if the mixture going to harden or clump due to the glue?
At the end of the video it says "wait until the paint is semi-dry" before applying the laminating glue. How long does it take typically for the paint to be semi-dry?
Other videos (mainly on cloissone jewelry) talk about firing finished pieces in a kiln, but your doesn't. Does the laminating glue take the place of heat?
    Thank you! Cheryl

Firing it melts the sand into glass which is more traditional. Just using the glue means you will have granulated texture on the piece instead of the smooth glass.
